i recently rooted my phone. i installed the custom ROM ginger balze 1.1. And after flashing. My phone gets Back to recovery mode screen. I used CWM recovery ……. first i thought ROM had some error so i restored the nandroid backup which i made peviously. But now its stuck on the boot screen Help me plz as soon as possible

give me a link to that rom you can't post links but copy/paste that link address
in some cases after flashing phone is entering recovery mode just because you need to wipe data/cache/dalvik-cache let's say this wipe is last step of flashing process
on Alcatel phones it seems CWM is not a complete backup I know this to be a problem

I got the same problem, here is the link of the rom bluerain28.info/?page_id=118. I forgot the step of nandroid backup, maybe that causes the problem. Please help us.

test to do the wipe data\ecc and reflashing the original rom for testing when there isn't hardwere problems
you could testing to put out the sim card and the sd-card, after starting the phone

I did that too on my 918N. Same thing happened. What I did was i flashed it again with Andread 3.2.
hello i have big problem i do factory reset in 28c and i have ICS Bootloaders (wkpark's 1.25a Bootloaders) .and ICS CWM Recovery i install ics - 28b.zip and now afetr restart i will get in bootloop.... what i must do for fix it????
Only way i know how is , use the resurrection guide but instead of flashing the ported ics , flash v28b.
This will erase everything , so be mindful of your data.
Don't worry or panic , it's unbrickable with wkpark bootloaders unless it has hardware damage.
If you can't do it , i can help you via teamviewer.

really thank you my dear friend . i use smart flashtools and flash again 28c but i lost all backup and data in cwm but no problem .:good:
you should always keep backups while doing things like this.....its a lot of nuisance when y0u lose data

If you have a card reader (or another phone that can accept your external SD), you can fix this. See my guide (link's in my signature) and read the troubleshooting section. You will find a flashable zip that breaks the loop. Copy it to your SD, put the SD back into your phone and flash the zip in recovery. Your phone will boot up. You must then flash a new recovery.

My little brother is trying to learn more things about mobile devices and wanted to have a go at my old piece of junk, stock optimus one p500h. So i let him have a go and now it's not working so here is the problem.
First he rooted it and that worked fine with gingeroot and then proceeded to install romanager which bricked the phone but he was able to recover the phone with a recovery.img and using LGMDP-v1.5 and emergency mode.
After that he installed some android system recovery thing "RA-thunderg-1.2.0-gnn" not sure what the software was originally, regardless he tried flashing from the flash from zip from sdcard and used a cyanogenmod zip which he said worked and then the phone said success and rebooted.
Now the phone just sits at the cyanogenmod loading screen and will not boot.
I am able to get into the recovery menu with home,down and power and emergency mode also works.
Where did he go wrong and what does he need to do in order to get this to work properly? Thanks for your help everyone and sorry if the post is a bit disjointed i'm trying to translate what he's saying into the post xD

If running a Windows PC and the device can boot in to fastboot, you can use Android Flash Recovery ( link in my signature ) to flash another recovery image. There are some more complicated ways using ADB, but well try to avoid them ATM You can also use LGMDP to flash a different recovery image. There are several floating around here at XDA.
As for where he went wrong, I cannot say. Piece of advice, if in doubt - don't do it.
Have you tried booting to recovery and wiping cache and dalvik cache then attempt to boot to Andorid?

thanks for the fast reply, looks like recovery is gone now? I had attempted to clear the cache though. Would you mind giving me a step by step as im unsure of what i need to do now xD not sure what i need downloaded or to do what with what after my brothers done all this haha
Just flash a recovery from LGMDP for your phone.. then download a rom for your phone and wipe everything in recovery and flash the rom
And do not flash stock rom from kdz or lgmdp if you cannot boot your phone. It has high chances of bricking

ok now it's running again and sadly it's giving me an unkown baseband and no service now! I tried flashing to the old legacy baseband for cyanogenmod 7.2 / 2.3.7

Cm7(except a very old one from mik_os), stock gb and up requires new baseband. You can search for baseband fix and install through recovery ( I don't remember if it's old bb fix or new bb fix, try for yourself )
You can also search how to install new bb permanently but it's more difficult and has(I think) chances of bricking your phone

- setup wizard isn't responding. Do you want to close it?
I close it, then:

- Process system isn't responding. Do you want to close it?
I press ok
And it keeps coming back over and over...
What should I do?

try fixing permissions in cwm/twrp ,if it does not help then restore your nandroid backup or ask the rom developer for the problem..

Could you please explain me how to fix the permissions in CWM?
I am a beginner who been trying to fix his tablet for a week now, but I still dont understand everything since I cant put all my time on it... If its not about following tutorials step by step, i am lost...
I also tried the fast team one, without any success, when the rom is installed and the device is rebooted, this time the screen stay blocked on "samsung galaxy tab3" for years!!!

I just tried to Flash three roms from sammobile.com (one from hong-kong, one from spain and one from germany) through Odin.
Everytime I get I click on AP to load the rom on odin, I get this message:"md5 error! Binary is invalid".
Since I have rooted the tablet using odin to instal CWM, when I boot the tablet in download mode, I can see:
- PRODUCT NAME: SM-T311
- CURRENT BINARY: Cusom
- SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
Is it related? Someone help plz...
The question is do i really have to install a new rom, now that the tablet is rooted with CWM on it, can't do any manipulation to allow the chinese rom to accept google playstore etc...
My biggest problem with the chinese rom that comes with it is that i cant install download google playstore, i installed it but everytime i open it, it closes right away. Not google nor other google apps available neither since it was sold in china...

You should be able to post on ROM forum now(as you've reached 10 posts.
And the fix permissions option should be in 'advanced' section in CWM(not sure, I use TWRP recovery)

dont you have cwm backup? if not then flash stock firmware ,find proper odin flashable packages for your device.
always make backup before flashing any rom.

In the end, I just used a previous version of Odin (3.4 instead of 3.9) to flash an original stock rom.
Now the problem is that I have a new CWM that works with the volume up, volume down button, and this menu:
- reboot system now
- apply update from ADB
- apply update from external storage
- zipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- apply update from cache
Since the rom is not really good, i wanted to flash another one (one of those we just talked about), but the backup i did with the previous CWM i had (Philz Advanced CWM 6.08.90) is nowhere in the tablet anymore (i dont have any sd card) and i dont know how to make a back up with this CWM...
So now the question is how to make a backup with this version of CWM so I can try to flash other roms, or how to get the version that i had before without takin any risk of brickin the device (so i can make another backup and try to flash another)

Are you sure the new recovery is CWM and not stock recovery?? If you flashed stock ROM, it should've given you stock recovery again...
(Does it show the CWM hat logo in the background?)

Try fix or patch.
Or come back to stock rom.

Yup, I think you'd better to start over again. Try take a look at this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2401901
It works well for my SM-T311 :good: Then you can reroot and make a backup from TWRP easily.
I also suggest you to take a look at this too : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522091 From there, you can get PhilZ touch recovery based on CWM v.6.0.4.5

Ok, my problem is resolved now.
- I had to use the previous version of Odin (3.4) to flash a rom from sammobile.com
- Then, I rooted the phone, reinstalling CWM philz version
- I did a backup using CWM
- Finally I flashed the custom rom using CWM

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T311 in Mainland China last month and I cannot install google play can anyone help.
So today i decided to root my phone and install a custom rom[im new on this i never flashed a custom rom and recovery].My phone model is Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S6312 DUOS.I didn't know how to install clockwork mod recovery and i saw this tutorial "[ROOT] How to install ClockworkMod Recovery on Galaxy Young GT-S6312" this is the name of the tutorial i cant post links.
I did everything and the recovery installed to my phone then opened the recovery and i tried to back up my phone when i clicked to back up my phone it was saying "can't mount backup path".So i decided to not install a custom rom because i was afraid.
I went back to my home screen and i wanted to do factory reset cause i had a lot of files which i wasn't need.My phone reboot's for the factory reset and then it saws me the clockwork recovery i clicked reboot phone[from the recovery cause my phone cant boot back to the normal screen] and now its not going back to the homescreen its always going back to the recovery.
Please tell me if its possible to fix my phone!

yes, as i know when i used stock rom and flash it back via odin, that doesn't wipe my phone
