is anyone using wiimote for playing snes and psx games? if so how do you get it to work? i have the emulators and games installed, i have wiimote installed and bluetooth on. the wiimote is connected within the wiimote app but then when i exit the app it no longer does anything. i just can't get the controller to work in the game.
edit: figured it out, just had to map the keys within the emulator/game
Based on the lack of responses, my guess is gtablet users are not too much of gamers... Also the fact that there are not too many "past a few day" Gtablet owners
I could not get the Wiimote app to see my Wiimote. Bluetooth was on, of course. No fun retro gaming this device was born to provide, it seems. The v-pad for games is too awkward due to display size, device weight and response of the tablet in the corners (where the controls are- is not very responsive).
I was pumped due to the performance, but you are right that controls are not too good..... Need Wiimote to work. I naturally figured it would work, but given some of the other issues, I may be assuming too much.
I probably will return the Gtablet this weekend and wait for a refurb. $400 is too much with screwed up sensor and controller functions not working via blutetooth. $300 is more of a compromise
I get the impression NOTHING was tested on this device. Nothing appears to really work other than USB sticks and even those can not be hotswapped. "USB" must have some other meaning for the OEM of this device.
Even USB keyboards and mice work with the Archos devices. All this power constrained by pi55poor FW.
on zpad the wiimote works great, i got a usb keyboard working too. i really wish someone smarter than me could figure out how we can select other keyboards. anybody?

You're not using TnT 2.0 then (or did they used to work?)? I have tried USB devices with no luck. Ditto on bluetooth input control devices.
You think the keyboard is the root cause for failure on Gtablet in TnT based roms?
I can not even get the Gtablet to see the Wiimote, yet alone map it to work.

usb keyboard worked for me on tnt lite 1.0.2(i'm poretty sure theres a small chance it was zpad). on tnt i can install wiimote, the app will see the wiimote but i can't choose wiimote as my default input because tnt will stay on the tnt stock keyboard. so if there were just a way to choose another keyboard as default it'd be all good. this guy found where the problem may be http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=9394102&postcount=3.

i would stay on zpad but i get uids inconsistent message everytime i reboot. it seems real laggy sometimes too. but i love how it is more similar to my incredible than the tnt interface.
I have the same problem with tnt lite
it sees the wiimote
the buttons work
but I can not change the keyboard input so I cant use it either
I have problems with my device - the screen completely stops responding.. im going to take it in and exchange it.. possibly get a refund.. Im not impressed with this.. everytime I run youtube.com it forces the browser closed..
not happy about the market place not displaying all the apps either tons of apps on the market place I use on my phone that dont work / wont install on this device.

A huge reason for this device is old school gaming. No wiimote- no keep (At full price. Better gamble if will get fixed by paying less money).
Seems a fair analogy is the Gtablet has a Ferrari engine, but no tires (laggy UI).... or steering wheel (accelerometer flucked' up), or lights (LCD appears to be mounted upside down due to bad viewing angles).
I could throw in more car analogies about USB and blue tooth issues, but already a rough ride.
After installing zpad it is getting better. I have the device tweeked to the point I like it.. gotta factory restore right now though to get an exchange because of the screen.. one that is done though I think I,can really get used to this.. gotta get flash working though..

i agree as far as playing games. the on screen controls are a joke to actually be competitive in a game. wiimote makes playing old nes or psx game MUCH more enjoyable. i'm thinking this has become a deal breaker for me...

I am going to return mine and get another one with the 60 day holiday return policy. That way, plenty of time to see if a fix is provided and more vulture time for a refurb- While still able to use the G for other stuff
Who knows, the 101 may be better than expected with 2.2........ VS better fix the frickin' bluetooth function on the Gtablet!
There is a way to get the Wiimote activated on TnT Lite - it would require replacing the Settings.apk from the zPad, Nvidia dev kit or even the Vega.
But, there are issues. The ones I've noticed is that the new Settings.apk cannot change the brightness controls, and that new widgets cannot be created on the homescreen after the change - and this is why I leave the TnT Settings.apk in the Lite Build.

Catch 22
Returned my G yesterday. I will get another one with the 60 day return window for holiday purchases... and hopefully a refurb to boot
Need a controller to work or this device for me is a comic reader and web surfer. The Archos 101 will cover that and games.... just not PSX too well, but at least controllers work with the 101.
Perhaps we will see a stable FW build where everything works (not CM)- including things broken by Viewsonic's apparently semi-clueless OEM dev team.
I like how the Gtablet maps apps (that force data to microsd) to go the internal space, so that frees up the microsd for other things. Seems Archos has corrected the app space issue on their Gen 8s, but may have went from one extreme to another. They may have mapped ALL of the 8gb and 16gb for apps. This would mean a lot of wasted space, since 3gb is about max needed fro apps, since all larger apps force data to the microsd anyways.
If Archos mapped as reported, there is about 4.5gb wasted space on the 8gb and 12.5 on the 16gb. Ironic- that they may have gone from one extreme to another. Droid X maps this way too. Wasted space.

Hi, just had an idea and I thought I'd post it to see if there is any apps like this or if it is even possible?
Would it be possible to use a tablet pc as a monitor, either to extend your pc desktop, or to play xbox 360, or PS3 on? (no one cares about the wii, ha ha) The console controllers are wireless, it would be awesome if the screen could be wireless too. You wouldn't need to stop playing for a bathroom break, ha ha.
It has wireless and bluetooth, has nvidia tegra 2, and can play 1080p video, it seems as though the hardware is in place to do it... I'm not sure about bluetooth, but wifi should be more than fast enough to stream the video and audio.
There would most likely need to be software on both sides to get it to work.
Anyway, just thought I'd bring it up, any ideas?

I don't see it happening. Definitely not with the consoles, opens up a whole HDCP / DRM can of worms. As to a PC, you can always use a remote desktop app.
Would you really want to?
Tablets are a compromise between screen real-estate and portability. Their screens are half the size of the smallest desktop monitors you can buy and low-end monitors aren't that expensive.
If you want dual screens on your PC, buying a second monitor is a far superior option than slaving your tablet screen to your desktop PC.
Fair enough.
Just thought it would be useful.
You can!

Wow, that's really cool.
That's actually exactly what I had in mind when I started this thread. Awesome.
Still don't have a tablet yet. Have one on the way though.
How does it work? Software on pc and tablet communicate over wifi?
Thanks
I got my Xoom now and the iDisplay does seem to work.
Here is a review of a friend of mine using it on his.
Yep, this was exactly what I had in mind when I posted this thread. It's slow and buggy, but I'm sure it will improve and it does work for certain functions.
Yes, this idea has been around in different forms for different OSes for quite a while. Sorry, but truly new ideas for apps are really few and far between.

Sweet!

So I've had a project for the last few months getting Android running as an infotainment system. Here is a demo i thought i'd share with you guys..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNcDq9S8n3I
Basic features:
Android 2.1 (looking to update to GB)
7inch touch-screen (800x480)
3G modem
GPS
Reverse camera (backup camera to see what's behind you)
USB port
would love to hear some criticism or anything regarding the device.. its not perfect, its got a few bugs and glitches.. but is sort of ready for everyday use but is missing a few components to make it 'official' android device (wifi, bluetooth etc).. but i'm just wondering if anyone is interested in something like this? Is this worth developing further on?
This thing runs on Cortex a8 omap3530 board and is based off 0xdroid build.
apologies if im in the wrong forum
Wow dude, thats really cool! I'd love one of these for my car. If you could get Honeycomb on that bad boy it'd be sweet! Just wondering, how do you plan on setting up a rear view camera? Just connect a camera at the back of the car to the tablet itself, then run the Camera app? Seems like the simplest way to me..
Haha cheers love to see the honeycomb source once its out then we'll talk although I'd imagine i'd need better hardware...
currently camera is interfaced by usb (has a usb hub) so i got a cable running under the carpet through the boot then camera is mounted on the bumper. yup camera is called by any camera calling intent.. so any app can use it.
I want to get some proximity sensors (like parking sensors) and write a proper reverse cam app to complement it. But we'll see...
Very cool!
I've been wanting to do this for a while, but I was going to use MeeGo or maybe Moblin since I don't have the programming skills (or Android knowledge for that matter) to build my own computer around Android. I dig what you got so far though.
My suggestion for the reverse camera is one of two things, because it would bug me to have to find and open the camera app every time I needed to back up.
Keep your touchscreen (what model are you using BTW?) and use a bluetooth or wi-fi relay (I know they make 'em, but they are $$$) to provide an input from +12V signal from your reverse light wire to automatically open the camera app, then close the app. Of course, you'd have to program for that.
Or
Have you considered this touch screen? Lilliput 7" touch screen with auto-reverse input. (Needs a RCA camera though)
http://store.mp3car.com/Lilliput_629GL_70NP_C_T_7_VGA_Touchscreen_w_Aut_p/MON-016-0002.htm
This is the one I plan on using since it switches automatically to the camera input whenever you are in reverse. Once you go back to any other gear, the OS input shows up again.
Just a thought to make life a little more convenient (although you already bought your parts so you may be stuck.)

Thanks a lot! It needs a lot of time and dedication but it's a real good learning curve. I had to learn a lot of things on the way.. especially c/c++ I wasn't great at but had decent skills with higher level programming.
If you are planning to work with MeeGo its a little fussy with the hardware requirements.. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think you need an Intel Atom processor. These are a little pricey if you're after an evaluation/hackable kit! But I'd imagine it'll be easier to program as it's a lot more closey coupled with linux.

I just had a look at those relays, sounds like its something I really need! Is this how the standard backup cameras work? That was something I was confused about.. I wasn't sure how to detect if i'm on reverse.. especially with the parts I already had. I'd imagine once you implement it you just need a service running in the background to listen for the relay.
The touchscreen is a TFT resistive 4wire touch-screen. It's not something I want to keep as I really want capacitive multi-touch.. But this fits perfectly with the board and was easier to deal with

I think most factory backup cameras use two inputs and switch between them. I don't have a lot of experience with them though.

Not sure what you mean exactly. I'll try the relays because it at-least gives me a standard interface to work with (bluetooth or wifi) so there isn't any work you have to deal with on the hardware abstraction.. Although it would probably be better designed if I had some sort of voltage input coming when the vehicle on reverse (the reverse light as mentioned). But I don't really have the electrical expertise to make it happen lol.

Well essentially what I was thinking was you'd have the bluetooth relay hooked up to your reverse light wire. This should allow your computer to monitor whether or not your car was in reverse. Relays are pretty simple - one input switches on/off another, usually one of a much higher or lower voltage. So in essence, it's a switch activated by voltage. (There used to be an electromagnet inside that physically moves a piece of metal to make a connection when a voltage is applied - now it's all transistors and whatnot.)
So, if you are in reverse and your reverse lights are getting power, the bluetooth relay should sense that and signal the computer (through a serial command it seems) which in turn could tell a background service to open the camera app. Once the voltage from the reverse light wire is lost, the relay should again tell the computer that you aren't in reverse anymore and the background service would close the camera app and re-open whatever app you were in.
*I should note this is all "in theory"... I don't know exactly how those wireless relays work/communicate and I don't know Android programming at all.
Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking what about using the GPIOs on the board and attach that to the reverse light? would that be possible? and using some resistors on the way to limit the voltages so i don't fry the board.. but we just need to detect some voltage input...
Not sure, will look into it. Right now, taking a pause on the development.. Got a lot of work to take care of but I can't wait to get back into it. I really want to port this to gingerbread.

You could possibly do that, a real cheap voltage regulator would probably be better though. You could also use a cheap relay if the correct voltage is already somewhere on the car. Again, I'm not too sure how those bluetooth relays work, but it sounds like you are on the right track.
Great Job!
I was thinking of doing something similar myself.
I am looking at going with one of the tablets as it is just seems easier? I only really need internet, google maps(GPS) and wifi tethering. I would imagine you are running stereo sound from a 3.5mm? I would still have a seperate head unit to control volume and handle all the regular functions as well as inputs from a 3.5 to RCA cable.
How are you running sound off that setup? Are you running a head unit still?
The sound is running off a small amplifier. then RCA to 3.5mm.
Haven't had the chance to play around with the wifi tether as right now i don't have a wifi card.. It would make sense to have wifi tethering or just wifi reciever and use a phone to tether 3g to the system. Avoids having separate data plans.
Can we get a copy of your "AIVI Car Home" for our own DIY projects?
I don't mind releasing the source for it. Its just right now its a bit messy and quite a few things are hardcoded.

Something I was also interested in seeing is having vehicle manufacturer recommended service intervals and such available as reminders from your in car system or phone or both.

You could use 'aCar' which, if you are unfamiliar, you enter the make, model, mileage and all the pertinent service requirements. Battery every 3 years or 50,000 miles, coolant every year or 15,000 miles, oil every 6 months or 3,000 miles, etc. Then, every time you get gas you enter the current mileage as well as gallons/liters of fuel and the price. From that information you not only get your MPG but it will also trigger reminders to do the necessary maintenance at the correct intervals when they come up. You can do this for multiple cars as well. It's a very good program.
On a related note to this thread, I started my own 'carputer' project using an Archos 70 Internet Tablet and an unused articulating wall mount for TVs. It's still a work in progress as well since I don't have all the parts yet but will do everything I wanted (eventually... lol) except the rear facing camera. The video is obviously just of the media player.
I shot this late last night to show a friend. He wanted to know why someone would want a tablet/computer in their car, lol. Sorry about it being so dark.
Dude
I am keen as mustard on one of these beauties, I was considering running xp MCE but the android option would be much nicer..

Hi,
I want to buy my first tablet and I am looking for something with 9-10 inches screen and sure android based. So far I decided that the Asus Transformer TF700 is the answer for me (the 32 GB version) I am wondering whether there are other potential good tablets with the same price tag or this is the best one can get in this price range.
Thanks.
Right now I would wait if I could reconsider. See if nexus coming with a bigger tablet.
This isn't a horrible tablet yet there are serious issues and Asus seems like neglected us

I would buy it again. We've got some great ICS and Jelly Bean custom roms (some are a work in process, but almost there--good enough to be my daily driver) and the official JB update is coming soon. I guess ASUS quality assurance leaves something to be desired, but my tablet and dock are great and I'm very happy with the Infinity.
2 weeks in to owning it and i would buy it again. I have not noticed any physical problems with my device.
I kinda wish i would have tried a 7" so that it was easier to carry around at times. I still think that I would want to have this device in the end. I love the I/O connections(kinda slow) but very helpful when I am shooting video with a bunch of GoPros outdoors. Now i don't have a carry a full sized laptop just to manage the files.
Sadly, I returned my third TF700 back to Amazon yesterday. Between the loosely mounted screen, the poor wifi reception (despite being a few feet from the router) and the multiple-times-per-day reboots due to icon disappearances and crashes, I couldn't justify keeping it.
With that said, I have every intention of buying it again once JB is officially released for it. The tablet display is gorgeous and I love the overall weight and form factor. I could have lived with the slight display mounting issue but I couldn't get around how laggy and crash-prone it was.
I have JB on my Galaxy Nexus and the performance is stellar and given what I've read from TF700 owners who have added a custom JB ROM to their tablets, I am confident that once an official ASUS build is released, most/all of the software problems will be resolved. Right?
Ehhh...
I'd buy again.
Probably try to get a champagne one and 64gb...of course the money would be more.
I really want to get another Acer A700 because the price tag on that tab is steadily dropping.

It's looking good. We're just at the beginning of that road, but there's a lot that can be done. Better luck next time!
As it stands right now, I suggest you should hold on to your money, Asus tf700 is a big disappointment for me. I was so excited about this table, and now NO ONE in my family wants to use it. The only thing good about this table is the high resolution screen, but maybe this's the issue, the O/S is not optimized for this kind of resolution? who knows? Anyway If you really like this table, wait until they released Jelly Been and check back to this forum to see it indeed Jelly Bean will addressed all the issues. Don't listen to the people that claimed they love their tables, maybe a few out there claimed that have a perfect one? but the odds will go against you. Not worth 600$ the way it works right now.
I'd buy again -- love the connectivity, love the screen -- lots of storage space. Furthermore, I have few issues with mine, and the keyboard dock is the absolute hammer for me -- typing and an extra battery. Seals the deal!
I love it, and would still buy it
I would still buy it also.
There are only four things that annoy me so far:
- It takes a few seconds for the keyboard to initialize, so you have to wait a few seconds with enter the code
- Tegra 3 seems to have a little strugle with handling 1920x1200, especially compared with CM10 (JB) on my Galaxy S2
- Android interface, especially in 3rd party apps is not yet tailored to use with a keyboard
- USB and SD going in to sleep together with the system, so I cannot charge my phone via micro-USB and it has to re-initialize SD every time (I like to have a setting for this)
Judging on what an improvement going from ICS to JB (CM9 --> CM10) made for my SGS2 I expect most of these issues to be resolved in the future with updated software, so I'm not woried.
What I absolutely love:
- The size as a small laptop and the detachable 'screen', and using the touchscreen (it draws attention when commuting in the train ), the aways-on just like a phone
- That it doesn't get hot - at all (unlike my Galaxy S2)
- Brightness of the screen, and it's resolution
- The good battery life when used in conjuction with the dock (which is how I use it 95% of the time)
I really don't like saying this because I have had very good results with Asus products I have purchased over the years. I would, buy a Samsung or a Toshiba. I am thinking about returning it again and just doing this and having it over with once and for all. I know they aren't as nice as the Asus but I sit here everyday and watch my wife do everything SHE wants to do on her Toshiba AT105-T1032 while she simultaneously laughs at me plodding along on my quad core super tablet. Opps, gotta go now she wants to see who's will boot up first from power off. I loose everytime, man I'm getting tired of doing the dishes every night

FYI - there is a "solution" to problems 1 & 4: If you want to be able to use the keyboard instantly after turning in on and keep your USB port on the dock active when the TF700 is in standby, you can do that by disabling the "Mobile Dock Battery Saving" mode in Settings->Asus customized settings. Just make sure you back out of the settings screen in order to make the setting "take effect". This will also allow you to wake your TF700 with the keyboard dock (instead of using the power button).
The downside is that your TF700 will never enter "deep sleep", so your battery will drain faster in standby mode...
I just tested this and was able to charge my Nexus 7 from from TF700, even in standby mode.
So, there already is a setting for this....
Regarding the keyboard, I've yet to have any issues with the keyboard in third party apps - could you please elaborate?
Hope this helps.

I love my infinity, the keyboard dock is just what i wanted
The IO issues of tegra3, poor Asus customer support, Bad warrenty coverage (everything is CID), and high fail rate make me sad tho...
Would i buy another one? Not likely. I'd prolly stick with the galaxy tab 2, Samsung may not update as quickly howeverits very easy to flash custom kernels and roms and loooots of options there.
If only we could get the Asus tablet with Samsung level QA and workmanship. Lots of people bash how "plastic" Sammy devices feel but i have yet to have one fall apart on me
Yeah, I think that Asus was more concerned with form over function with the TF700 - they were so worried about being the thinnest and lightest tablet (along with being nice looking) that they were just too hard to actually build!
We'll see how things go in the future, especially with Jelly Bean, but I just get the feeling that the TF700 isn't going to stand the test of time. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

Had my TF700 64gb 5 weeks and yes would buy again, very good screen as I use outdoors mostly in very bright light 7inch would just not be big enough for me. Had the occassional reboot but so much better with a cold reboot once a week thanks to the advice on this forum.
No loose screen or noticable light bleed, wifi connection in comparison with my Samsung Gio is just as good if not a little better.
I did not buy the model with the keyboard dock as it was not available at the time of purchase and still a little nervouse about getting one due to the screen crack issue but have invested in the Anker Archos3 battery which is great if you are out for a full day and need that extra bit of battery power.
This is my first tablet but have used an android phone before, did not want to go down the Apple route seems to be more of a fashionable item to buy going back to the ipod days and that sort of thing always puts me off.
There are always going to be problems with an early adoption of any device so far I am a happy user.

Actually that was one of the first things I did Because I use my tranformer as a PC replacement. I didn't want to push the unlock button every time. The SD-card still powers off in this mode when the screen is of and there is the delay when typing in in a password or code from the keyboard.
I've btw done a lot of optimizing by now on the stock rom -for which you need root access - Disabled a great bunch of programs, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1897099. Also I now disabled some more programs, replaced the stock launcher with a lightweight alternative (Holo launcher HD), and replaced all media related programs (Gallery, Google Play Music, Videoplayer) with lightweight alternatives (Quickgallery, Clean player, BSplayer which serves as a youtube substitute as well). This allows you to disable the media storage process alltogether. This appears to take a great load of the Infinity's shoulders and it now is starting the feel and behave like a state-of-the-art PC system in terms of speed and input response BTW Office Suite let's you use the cursor keys and shift keys in it's spreadsheet editor and is not laggy unlike it's competitors when using this input method (Quickoffice, for which I still had a licence and Polaris which is preinstalled). Also Dolphin Browser beta is not laggy when typing from the keyboard like Firefox Beta, next to that it allows you to use the scroll wheel on a external mouse and seems to perform better on a optimized system than FF beta (which was my prefered solution when I still had my system less optimized).

Hmm, I'm a little confused now - the OP stated that your USB port won't charge your phone, yet you say that you have already disabled the "Mobile Dock Power Save Mode"? Or are you saying that you disabled that *after* posting the original post? Like I said, even in standby, I can still charge USB devices with that mode disabled...

In my situation:
- Screen on: It charges my phone over microusb
- Screen of: nope
Also a sd-card in the docking station is remounted every time the screen goes on.
Mobile battery switching mode is de-selected.
When it's enabled the keyboard can also not wake the tablet, have to use the power button on the tablet itself then.

Strange - that's how mine acted before disabling the mobile dock battery saving mode, but after disabling it,my tablet will continue to change my devices even when screen is off and I can wake my table my simply touching the trackpad (even if it's disabled). You may want to try enabling and re-disabling the battery saving mode, making sure to exit setting after each change....

Hello!
I have one question that I could not find answer on internet. I have note 10.1 and have been using BT keyboard - Canyon, and it has been working flawless with a bit disconnect here and there. But recently I have bought BT Mouse - HP and it works just great. But when they are both connected at same time they both misbehave a lot. If I use mouse my keyboard just dc and it won't respond unless I hit few keys and sometimes keyboard lags/button stuck like "dddddddd...." untill my mouse dc. When my mouse dc keyboard is fine once again and this apply to vise versa but with mouse it is not responded well like move around for 2s late...
So now my question is if there is any program or script that will help with this situation? I know tablets aren't made to be used as PC but on college my battery last for like 9-10 hours while others with laptops cant get 3-5 hours full writting. I can even play games and my battery wont be below 30% when I get home. I have rooted ofc and I am using android revolution HD 9.0 since it is most polished. I dont wanna go to other android stock roms cuzz s-pen does not work well. I do not use pen often but heck, if I have it I want it to work perfect.
I hope someone had similiar situation and had it fixed.
Cheers
I have the same problem. I did not find a solution to bluetooth interference either... so I am thinking to move to usb based keyboard and mouse for better user experience.

Yeq but i want BT i was checking utube for some tips. All i have got is that some brands dont have problem. Most problem cause microsoft products with android on other hand ms mouse is better...so yeah hope someone can help.
Cheers
I have found a way to help it. I bought external keyboard helper for 2€ and it works amazing now. I have also tryed Null keyboard which is free and it basicly just hides ur onscreen eyboard from appearing. Guess this was the problem.
I hope someone will also fix their issue with this 2 apps. Cheers
It's those devices. I have several BT Keyboards and Mice and they work perfectly together. There's no app that can really do anything about stuttering mice or duplicate letters, as the issue is in the RF layer of the BT protocol.
After much messing about we have Modern Combat 5 & MOGA controller working with limited lag. The secret is to remove any additional helper apps you have installed for the Moga, remove the controller from Pivot and resync as B MODE.
Then start Modern Combat 5 and set your Sensitivity to 100% and Aim Sensitivity to 75% (Thanks bradleyg5 for the settings)
It's not perfect but it's considerably better than A mode and is close to playable with only a slight slugish feeling, also gone is the Iron site bug which is great and makes it much more playable.

It won't work with the pocket, as it has no b mode nor could I even get any input from it in game whatsoever. Just a warning unless someone has a solution. The Pocket seems not to work with MC5.

You can get it to work with the Universal MOGA Driver. But the problem is that the pocket has only one row of back buttons for example you can't shoot because there is no button on the moga for So we have to wait until a proper support from gameloft comes...

My moga universal driver app crashes when I hit the enable driver button, on my galaxy s5
please take no offense but i feel like your fix is more of a semi functional work around that should be obvious to most people right away
when i saw the game was out, i bought it and immediately began looking for my moga pro. i saw that the phone recognized the moga in "a" mode, but the mc5 app didnt detect it, so i flipped the mode to off and then to "b" and once again the os saw the controller, but this time mc5 recognized the controller and so i was happy until i noticed how slow/low sensitivity was.
i cranked up the sensitivity to 100%, but it still is about 30% too slow for my liking.
a true fix/solution would be to get the controller working whether its in moga's mode, that appears to be loosing support, but this could be slow too, or getting hid mode to work with a acceptable output/input.
i wonder is there is someway to adjust the hid joystick sensitivity. im guessing with 6axis or what ever its called probably works beautifully since its touch emulation with tons of tweaks, realizing that the on screen thumb sticks are fast enough as is.
Thanks worked great

There is an app for touch emulation. But still not playable It's called Game Controller 2 Touch.
What makes it Unplayable? Seems like mc5 wouldn't even know it's I/O was being spoofed, let alone care?
I'm going to some reading on that app you pointed out. If it works the way I envision it i will be tossing some coin towards the dev. Thanks

Still a tad bit laggy. May need to switch to my PS3 controller and use the touch emulation for now.

ok, so i bought the app and i have been messing around with for 3 days and i still dont have it working, the dev points towards 2 issues, one being kernel permissive issues and another problem with knox. i tried 2 of the 3 fixes and i cant get it, but i also dont know what i am doing. i emailed the dev last night so we will see what happens. i will try to report back.

The Six axis app does work pretty well. Not lag in the inputs, but the need for proper HID implementation would be better. Or at least release the updated for A mode on the Moga Pro.
I know the thread is nearly dead but I have a question. Has anyone been able to use touch emulation with MC5 and a MOGA Pro? Every app I've tried won't register touch emu for my MOGA, MC5 just continues registering the controller as input. I want to use touch emu because the sticks are god awful for aiming with such low sensitivity. And yes, ivebgot it set to 100%. Any help please?
How to turn 180 degrees, i am new to this
I have a problem with moga pro wont recognisw my controller it works on the begining you chooae multiplayer and as soon as the game starts ir wont respond its on b mode and the controller works with other emulators so its not a hardware problem does any one know why
