now even worst...the screen black only..no sound.but the phone can on..plz help me..i really like HTC TYTN 2
that would definitely for sure probably be da ribbon cable connecting both parts of your precious.
other options would be connector on your mobo (motherboard) which would be more painful, but still fixable in service. or a chip, but that is definitely not very probable.
start here:
$25
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Flex-Cable-R...ewItem&pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item439f46e5b3
it would be quite expensive for just a ribbon, but as you can see there is more on it. and the price is fair.
next try to address kaiser issues in kaiser forum, you could get better and faster replies.

[Q] Help me find keypad flex

I dropped my i-mate sp5m a couple of time on the floor. Now most of the keys are not working including the joystick. I did opened the phone and found the keypad flex is broken near the push connector. I would like to replace the keypad flex with a new one to make the phone usable again.
Kindly someone help me to find the keypad flex of this i-mate sp5m in India.
thanking you in anticipation.

Did the keyboard flex really break because of the drop? Usually this happens if you open the device and don't take care about this connection. If this broke because of the drop, then your housing would be so damaged that replacing the keypad will not be the only thing to do...
Finding a replacement keypad may actually be harder than finding a new (used) device. Try your luck at ebay if this is useful in India. Mind that you can transplant the board in any Tornado or even Hurricane housing with a working keyboard. So if you find one of these which is damaged otherwise (e.g broken screen) you can recycle the parts you need.
You are quite right, it is not just dropping, it is mix up with careless opening. I did took the handset to an unauthorized service center on first few problems and I think that makes problem worsen.
Now my only solution is soldering those very tiny connections or changing the whole keypad flex.. and later is better. But where could I find one is the problem.
I think you cannot solder them as the flex-cable has copper-print on both sides. Just count the contacts and the print lines.

[Q] What is the name of the black connector mat behind my charger?

Hi, I have an Iocean X7 Elite which I have had for almost 8 months now. Recently I cracked the screen ( by accident of course) and I have purchased a new one.
So.... I installed the new lcd screen myself and it works fine. Only problem is it did not come with this black connector sticker/mat that lies behind the battery. So I was unable to connect my mainboard to the speaker, mic and charging socket area of the phone. I did peel the sticker/mat off the old lcd and connect it to the new one, but to no avail it does not work.
I really need help on what this mat is called as I believe this is the issue with the phone. Any help would be appreciated.. Please feel free to ask any questions.
Thank You Very Much

Samsung Galaxy GT-P5110 - 81 pin fpc connector (digitiser/touch screen)

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum but have been following XDA for a good while without being registered because most of the answers to my questions were found within other forum posts but I've not found an answer to this question;
I currently possess a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P5110) and the touch screen does not work. The LCD works perfectly but doesn't respond to touches. I ordered an 81 pin FPC connector to replace the old port directly on the main board but am not 100% sure on how to remove the old one. The reason for the replacement was that I noticed a few bent pins which I believe may be causing the problem.
Can someone point me in the right direction. I won't take it to a shop because I am looking at this as a learning curve so would prefer to do this from home.
What tools would be required to remove the old 81 pin FPC connector from the GT-P5110.
Any help would be much appreciated and thank you in advance.
