Hi guys
I'm looking for a good value for money windows mobile phone.
It has to have
Touch Screen
QWERTY keyboard
At least 128MB of ram
At least 400mhz CPU
Decent battery life.
Mini USB connection
Good ROM development.
I have owned
HTC S630 (64mb & 200mhz)
Imate 8502 (Good specs but no rom development)
Samsung C6625 (Good specs but not touch screen and little rom dev)
I've been looking at the HP Ipaq data messenger (£150 new ebay) but I hear its got a crap battery life.
I'm not looking to spend £300 ($500) on a phone!
Something perhaps around £180.
Has to be pay as you go. I avoid contracts like a plague!
Thanks.
get a kaiser / tilt
HTC all the way
Rhodium is the best hardware keyboard device you can find this days.
It´s a great piece of work with a great design.
You won´t regret it.
With some luck you can find a tmobile version very cheap this days, have a look on marketplace section

Do NOT, I repeat, NOT get an iPAQ DM. I have it laying in front of me here. It fails on so many levels it ain't even funny. Let me name all bad things about it:
1. The battery lasts 1 day with luck.
2. Getting a GPS lock can easily take 10 minutes.
3. It has the standard Windows Mobile UI, which blows.
4. Even if you install SPB Mobile Shell, be prepared for lockups.
5. The keyboard is crap. It doesn't type good at all, I had the phone for 7 months and I still ain't that fast on it.
6. My 'E' and 'V' button begin having troubles early on. Where I had to press extra hard to use them.
7. Pretty much no chance at WinMo 6.5.x, as the boot loader is encrypted.
8. The QVGA screen is near useless.
9. The camera is completely useless. It has no autofocus, is blurry as hell. And taking a picture can take 5 seconds. And if you want to delete the picture or take a new one, it's gonna load 5 minutes again.
10. Unless you're using some simple WiFi encryption like WEP, don't expect to have a connection all the time.
11. All the hardware buttons on the side are way too hard to press.
12. It has no Mini USB, it looks like it, but it's some HP-proprietary nonsense.
13. ROM development is 0.0, like I said, encrypted.
14. It failed so hard, HP canceled production of it not long after it was released.
15. Just don't get this phone. You'll regret it.

Tell us how you really feel. LOL
my suggestion is no matter what qwerty keyboard phone u get DO NOT GET THE SE XPERIA X1 that phone have a 512 cpu and i think like a 800 mbs on. im currently using it and im VERY unhappy with the phone. i was hoping it to be better then it should be. if u dont drops your phone or anything i would suggest a Nokia N97 or a Nokia N900
i personally would give a rating of the X1 from a 3 outta 5.
some people are havin problems with the bluetooth(headset) on the x1 and i am too.(bluetooth static noise) i personally dont like the virbration of the phone, the loudness. the phone is VERY low when is on max. and when i have the phone in my pocket i TOTALY dont feel the phone virbrating in my pocket.and most of the time the Camera frezzes on me and that lead into a phone freeze.i had a Nokia N97 and im very happy with it. i thought the SE X1 would be better then the N97 and stupid enough to sold the N97. EXTREMELY UNHaPPY WITH SE X1. AND VERY UNHAPPY WITH SE COUSTOMER SERVICES! im saying that because my phone is still under warrently, my phone having problems they're gunna make me pay 200$ to get my phone fix.. i would highly suggest N97.
N97 space is by G and the CPU is 1GHZ

+1...the Rhodium is great, and nails every one of your requirements
This ones easy. If you want to pay $250 - $300 get an HD2, if you want to pay $100 - $250 get a Touch Pro 2/Tilt2/Rhodium. Both are abosolutely killer phones and you can pick them up second hand for pennies on the dollar. I say an HD2 because you think you have to have a real KB but after using the HD2 touch KB you won't need it anymore. I bought a mint ATT TILT2 for $150 the other day, then I bought an HD2 kit with everything and less then 5 hours on the phone total for $250. Everyone is selling their smart phones to pay the $300 for the new iphone so you can get phones for nothing now in local classifieds.

Hehe, there's only one thing I really miss from the phone. That is the mute slider on top. As it allows you to quickly put the phone on vibrate and back on sound. Especially great in meetings. You just slide your hand in your pocket and do it quickly without even having to get it out.

OK Guys I Have a HTC mogul and it is a really good phone i really like it.. But I am really concidering getting an iPhone.. I like the flow that the iPhone has where I dont get that with my mogul.... My question, Is it worth buying... I will be keeping my mogul, the iPhone will just be xtra for the features... Im not even going to be using the phone, just the data, text, and multimedia features.
Definitely... I used to detest the iPhone till I got my hands on one... and believe me... the Windows UI has a long way to go. I got bored of everything on the iPhone rather quickly but I must say that I am really impressed with how smooth and fluidic everything is. WinMo is **** in that respect. I especially love the Safari Browser... it is such a pleasure to use it to browse. I use my PPC to browse the net only as a last resort...but with Safari, I would find reasons to use it.
At, $400, it's a decnt buy. Go for it... i'd recommend it.
If you have money to burn, then do so.
That said so do I, but I still bring myself to buy it versus a good PDA
I would wait!
You should wait and keep your mogul because an iphone like ui is coming out on new years day.

Yo i like your set up you have there if i do get the iPhone it wont be until like the 3rd or 4th... I want to know how to do stuff like your screen... I'd say if you don't plan on using the phone perhaps look into the iPod Touch. You couldn't text or browse out and about, but could with Wifi. Will let you have the interface of the iPhone and keep you from having to pay a large monthly phone fee for services you're mostly not using.

Well i will be getting on a friend of mines plan and i will pay $29 to use the data and text. the plan i have with my mogul has 3000 min, unlm. text, unlim. data, equipment protection, unlim. n&w, the works basicly and it is only $37 after taxes..... so i figure $70 a month for 2 phones isnt bad
I feel for anybody that needs to ask the question of whether they should or should not get an Iphone.
Being a great lover of the WM and haveing gone through 2003, on and off the WM5 train and now on the WM6 rom (waiting for 6.1) I find at the end of the day the only reason I like WM is that I can play with it.
2 Weeks ago I went in a apple store in the USA (I am from switzerland) and looked at an IPhone. I have to admit its nice, the interface is nice, it flows, you can get the grips of it with a FAT thumb. It has 16gig of ram.
Now I have a Blue Angel, the reason I still have it is due to the fact that I am na old fart and need the 3.5 screen (Iphone has a big one).
I have am 2 gig SD card and can't listen to MP3 of it due to a the speed of the card and the device (IPHONE has 16gig internal).
I have a big fat thumb and am on the 7th or 17th stylist on my BA (have not seen many people taping with a biro on there IPhone (as they lost the stylist)).
I had to buy a new belt to keep my trousers up with my BA (or Kaiser), (Iphone is thin and slick).
My BA has as much sex appele as wet toilet roll. (face it the Iphone looks and feels nice).
So why do I still have a old BA ?
Well I cant play with roms, cook them or spend my nights in XDA.
I have ZERO software that I can download and try.
I cant Sync me works contacts or my privat ones as I happen to work for an organisation that has more than 20'000 people and thus is sort of on the coparte M$ train.
I work on the other Main Land and there is more to our lives than MM/DD/YY and English.
So I stick with a HTC device running on windows mobile and will most likly end up buying a Iphone for my wife.
Life sucks when you have to admit to defeat, HTC get your act together!!! You have to many damb phones that do some things, some have GPS and a small screen, some have a larger screen and no Keyboard, some have a keyboard and no FM Radio. And they are all NOT sexy!!!
Get yourself a Touch Cruise and then you can be the envy of the iFone crowd, you know it makes sense, 3G, GPS and you can "Play" with it, put the iFone screens on the BA and give it the other half (will she notice - probably; so duck quickly) - as an aside I have never lost a stylus from my BA - it is still stuck in the damn thing and refuses to release, I am not going to open it though just for this!
The Touch only has a 2.8 screen that I cant read

Well, I love the Kaiser, and just recently switched from the iPhone. This UI, and Windows UI, have a long way to go to compete with the iPhone's.
The thing is, you can't compare the two devices;
iPhone - Heavy in multimedia, Style, INTERNET
Mogul - Business User oriented; satisfactory multimedia use.

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has had much experience trying to replace a TyTN II. I've been really please with it, but I don't really use the keyboard and would really love a VGA screen.
I've looked at the Eten X650 and X800 but the reviews are a bit mixed to say the least and I'm just not sure!
So has anyone made the switch from an HTC device to an Eten or i-mate etc successfully or any other similar phone? And found them to be useable?!?!
Any suggestions on a new model would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advanced,
Gadget.
You could look at the Touch Diamond. If you want a keyboard wait for the Touch Pro.
gadgetdude, similar situation here. Except I'm moving from a standard tytn to an I-mate 9502 and I need the keyboard. This is only day 2 in the switch for me, but I can say it's different. One big thing I miss is the lack of the great HTC apps like the home plugin, audio manager, and task manager. That hurts. Also, I gotta say, while the VGA is good for browsing and makes the fonts look great, it's kinda of a waste on a 2.8" screen.
This phone is a little quirky compared to the tytn, but it has some good points. I'll probably be using it until the X1 comes out. Good luck.
Now with all the VGA devices coming out, I would have thought someone would have converted the original HTC home to fit VGA. I know there is currently a version out there that works but it makes every so damn small. Imagine how the original HTC would look in VGA if it fit to the screen lke the QVGA version does.
More info...
Thanks dudes for all you're input.
Still not sure tho - the Touch Pro looks rather cool! And I guess it'll have proper VGA versions of the HTC software?!
Has anyone got any opinions on the 'joystick' control on the Eten X800 or X650 though? I'm still not convinced whether it'll be a real pain or not!
Cheers dudes!
Have you looked at the tosh g900?
This actually has the highest res screen on any windows mobile device (to my knowledge) at 800x480. Its gorgeous for browsing and looking at pictures/photo's etc. It can be a bit slow when rotating orientation but thats the only time.
The original firmware was VERY buggy and so it built up a reputation according to this - bear in mind though, it was brand new and early adoption should expect issues. This reputation is now unfounded imho. Since firmware 3.01 and above, its rock solid and I never have to reboot mine.
This is what I do on mine without any issues/crashes:
Today screen extra's -
HTC X-Button,
SPB Weather,
SPB Backup,
Rhinocode Launch Pro,
Corner-A PDA Status
Other apps installed and working -
Saman SMSDeliveryReceiptFix
Micromega MSS Converter
ZoomSMS
YouTube Player
OneNote (although, this wont pull notes FROM the PC but will push TOO the pc)
MS Voicecommand
Google Maps
Route66 (sadly, the only Satnav i've found to work correctly with its high res screen)
Oh something else this phone did first, afaik, was to have a USB hub in it! You wont believe how handy it is to plug in USB storage devices (right up to external 3.5" disks!) at work to move stuff around.
The fingerprint security/program launcher is excellent - wish more phones had it! I also use the phone constantly on 3g/hsdpa as a modem for my pc and browse the web loads. I've had to buy a 3000mamp battery which makes the phone a bit bulky but to be fair, i don't think there are many people who are as heavy users as me. I also have configured a mail2web push email and a couple of pop 3 accounts.
BUT I am getting rid for two reasons:
No built in GPS
camera is w*&k
I am waiting for the Samsung I900 Omnia which is released any day now here in England.
Samsung http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=samsung+i900&btnG=Google+Search&meta=
Tosh http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=tosh+g900&meta=
I had the eten M800 and the joystick was ok. It made it abit larger when in your pocket. Personally I like the joystick on the imate 8502. This joystick is the best I've used yet buty personally I like the 5-way pad over any joystick.
If screen resolution is a top priority, then take a look at Sony Xperia X1, it does have a physical keyboard but has a WVGA screen, thats 800 by 480. It's designed by HTC and marketed by Sony Ericsson, so best of both worlds.

and also not out until end of this year/early next year(?) .... continualy delayed product. By the time it comes out its going to be old. Compared to the G900 it offers very little extra and the G900 was out almost a year ago (and so has had all the bugs ironed out of it, something a brand new product will not be able to claim), specialy a Windows Mobile device.
you can also wait for the futur Toshiba G920 or G910

Sadly thats the case with a lot of phones. A great many smartphones out there have this issue. For example, my G900 has the Nvidia chipset in it but it aint used properly, and with an 800x480 screen, it would make a massive diference.
Why, oh why do they not give them drivers?
its not just phone company i remember the psp was like that as well...originally was a faster processor but they blocked it...off topic...anyways i seen a video of someone tapping into the graphic chip on the tytn ii maybe there is still hope...
Thanks for all the input on this.
In the end after much soul searching (well, phone searching, anyway!) I decided to go for the new Touch Diamond. Seems to fit what I'm after the most.
It's arriving tomorrow and I can't wait!!
Gadgetdude,
You have PM

Checking in!
Just to share a thought. Looking back more than a year ago, I had to spend some good effort hunting for the TyTN 1 (Got the first available variant model Taiwan CHT9000). This year alot of decent phones came out, making decisions much harder to make. I guess it is good news...
The Raphael would be a dream keyboarded WM 6.1 micro SD device but since I currently own the HTC Diamond and Apple iPhone 3G. I have to double think before getting this. May be I will have the Diamond sold and get the Raphael.
The iPhone lacks AD2P Bluetooth which is a serious draw back. The battery is non swappable, no memory card (not really a big deal cos the itunes sync is much more reliable than Active Sync ).
Feel free to share your thoughts!
Wow, you really are a "PPC-Warrior" with all those devices :O.
drivers?
Shall we get the Raphael?
Mmm that depends of the performance of the gpu,
or presence of a graphic driver!
Does anybody has information about this issue?
Does it take SDHC or just regular microSD?
takes SDHC up to 32GB
I had a dream...
What about the famous HTC Dream. its been long roumered to be out before year ends. Would it be worth waiting for I wonder.
I have so been waiting for this device to hit the shelves. HTC should have had this thing available 2 weeks ago or at least made some noise about it. Imagine if people knew about this!!
Apple sold 1 million Iphones here in Australia in the first 3 days and you cant even type on the damn thing without having to constantly correct yourself if you have fingers bigger than what my 5 yr old has and the GPS cant speak directions, no messenger and list of draw backs goes on.
I'm just hanging for this thing to arrive.
Will the Raphael have the same diamond back as the ,uh, Diamond? I read somewhere that the diamond doesn't lay flat on the table. I also read somewhere that there will be an optional flat back. Any thoughts?
The T-mobile branded Raphael has a flat backcover...
I can't really think of any reason not to buy a Raphael. This looks like the perfect device for current standards. And I don't think it has any serious flaw, which kept me from buying other devices (like the video issue on Tytn II for example).
The Raphael looks indeed quite great to me, but I like the screen size of the Xperia. Would there be a reason not to go for the Xperia?
The only thing that's putting me off is the screen size. 2.8 inches really isn't very big, especially when you're used to the Universal and its wonderful 3.7 inch VGA screen.
The xperia 3 inch screen isn't much bigger than the touch pro, plus I prefer the touch pro styling. I also wonder if the xperia's WVGA screen will cause software compatability problems?

1. maybe software problems with that screen solution
2. no video out
3. probably no (or not a lot) support by the chefs and professionals in this community for that hardware...
4. no release date avaliable

I have read the keyboard is awful. Unless they improve it before releasing, which is highly unlikely because that would change the design, I wouldn't buy it, afterall the main reason for me to choose Pro instead of Diamond is the keyboard, which is considered excellent by some people who had a chance to use it.
thanks, your arguments make enough sense to reconsider my liking. I wish the Diamond Pro would have a 3' screen ;-)
I heard that X-Peria is going to be released only in oct end , so thats quite some time whereas Raphael is scheduled to be launched on aug 5th i guess.
I am eying on the Raphael.

the physical screen size of the X1 is only 0.2" than the Raphael...
A good reason not to go the X1 is the wonderful Xda-developers forum
Another is that it's a bit delay
Personally the perfect phone for me would be a Diamond with micro-sd card support and a 3.5" screen with VGA but I sold my prophet and I can't no longer wait for the perfect phone. So, the best for now is the Raphael...
P.S. - Samsung Omnia is also a no go for me cause it doesn't have a stylus...
Actually the omnia has a stylus which looks like lipsick lol, there's nowhere on the handset to store it thought.. picture below.

Sunlight readable?
I am pretty sure I want to get the Touch Pro over the Xperia X1 apart from one thing. The reviews of the Xperia say it's screen is readable under direct sunlight. People I know with the Diamond say it is not.
I've spent the last year with the Tosh G900. It also has the 800x480 like the Xperia but it can't be seen outside. I was thinking that all these small screen high res phones were unreadable in sunlight. Maybe there is a problem with transflective displays at this pixel density?
The Touch Pro has a lot of advantages over the X1, 5 rows of keys, TV out and 640x480 screen (this is better I now know after living with the 800x480 for year and finding loads of apps that wont work). But I like to use TomTom while cycling so sunlight readable would be quite a bonus...
This phone so nearly does everything that I've been waiting so many years for, apart from decent camera with optical zoom and OLED screen. Guess I'll have to wait a few more years before I'm completely happy!
actually the diamond is the first pda/phone i have that the light sensor really works, if there is too much sun he will increase the display light, for me it is quite readable ( better than x7500 for example )
Hi guys,
I was recently introduced to the world of smartphones when I bought an LG Incite to replace my Samsung SGH-c417 (no USB, no Bluetooth FTP, no nothin'). At the time, it seemed like a good idea: Wifi, USB, touch screen, WM6.1, and it was pretty cheap since I was due for my two-year renewal + upgrade with AT&T. After using it for about a month... well, to put it simply: I hate it. So many problems, so few redeeming qualities. Now, it has also decided to randomly kill itself and refuses to charge or turn on. As soon as I go get it replaced, I plan to sell the new phone without ever opening it (Interested? pm me).
Anyway, to the point... Now I'm looking for a new phone. I found one I like, the HTC StarTrek, but I can't find any really reliable places to buy it from (Newegg won't have it in stock till next month).
Can anybody suggest a reliable phone I might like? Here are my preferences:
- Keypad a MUST (not necessarily a full QWERTY keyboard, just real, solid buttons I can use to dial)
- Windows Mobile 6.1 or newer (Or a phone with WM5 that can be upgraded)
- Flip or bar design preferably (I might also be open to slide or PDA styles... depending on the phone)
- Unlocked (or easily unlockable) or AT&T/Cingular
- Features like USB, camera, Wifi... (Wifi isn't necessary, but it'd be nice)
- 3G not necessary
- As cheap as possible!
Not very cheap but ther is no greater device this days:

Yeah, it looks nice, but I was hoping for something a bit cheaper that $700 o_o;
Ideally, I'd like a phone for under $200, but I'm not really holding my breath too much (Another reason why I'd like an HTC StarTrek: only $100... anyone know where I can get one?).
How about the nike (touch dual)?
go with the tp2...check out the Rhodium section for details!

The Windows Mobile 6.1 allows my phone to use the 16GB microsdhc card.
So if you decide to get this phone and learn that it doesn't support anything over 2 Gigs, than that's not true anymore thanks to the Windows Mobile firmware update.

It has USB connection but it's proprietary, it has Wi-Fi and it works better than my X1 for some reason, it has 1.3 MP camera with LED flash, and it has bluetooth.
- 3G not necessary

Samsung SCH-i760 costs 125 USD.
Now the reason why I suggest this device is because it has a dial pad so you don't need to open the damn keyboard or use the Touch Screen to dial. It is the only Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 with an actual dialing pad.
Also, the speaker and speakerphone and the stereo music speaker is exactly as loud as the super loud N95 and it louder than the Touch Pro 2 which is being praised for loudness.
Also of all of the Windows Mobile phones... this phone has the best value
But since you are ATT and are posting on an HTC phone get the HTC TyTn II which costs 150 USD and this is the second best value phone for Windows Mobile

Ugly ugly ugly
But you are right...
It was because of the keypad that I mentioned the nike. Instead of a sliding keyboard, it has the vertical sliding keypad of more conventional phones.
For cheapness you can't beat the Universal. It has a great keyboard and screen. It run WM6.1, is upgradeable (and has a good following with cooks currently cooking WM6.5) has USB (1.1), Camera (1.3MP) and WiFi 802.11b (with g connectivity). Ok not cutting edge specs, but for the price difference to other machines which offer same functionality it's great.
Orb, I'm surprised you've managed to hold your tounge on this one!
i seccond the idea for you to get the tytnII it has every feature you could want and it is cheap. i would not suggest the startrek because it is running smart phone edition (non touch screen). plus the other good thing about getting a kaiser/tytnII is you can get them for cheap off of craigslist or similar websites.

Well said -Jonny-!!
which one is the best overall device? Owners only please, no fanboys/trolls.
Grade the phones on this criteria out of 5(ie x/5):
OS:
Size/pocketability:
Battery life:
Processor speed:
Ease of use:
usability of on-screen keyboard:
Apps:
US 3G Support (AT&T to be specific):
Overall:
Just to kick things off im going to weigh in on my current phone, the TP2:
OS: 3/5 (using sense 2.5) (5/5 with android)
Size/pocketability: 2/5
Battery life: 5/5
Processor speed: 2/5
Ease of use: 4/5
usability of on-screen keyboard: 1/5
Apps: 2/5
US 3G Support (AT&T to be specific): full support
Overal: 3/5
Leo HD2
Leo HD2
OS:5/5 to be honest I think WM6.5 with the Sense on top is amazing never freezes on my phone anymore after installing NRGZ's Energy Rom.
Size/pocketability: 4/5 Although it's big never found it to be a problem in any pocket.
Battery life:3/5 For a smart phone pretty good but with heavy usage drops pretty quick aswel. On standby lasts for ages.
Processor speed: 5/5 everything is pretty much instant
Ease of use: 5/5 Didn't strugle with anything
usability of on-screen keyboard: 4/5 could be better still getting used to it. Theres ways of making typing easier but isnt really an isue for me.
Apps: 2/5 at the moment not much about but it's early days to fingers crossed.
US 3G Support (AT&T to be specific): 5/5
Overall:
I think this is a great phone. I must admit with the stock ROM it wouldn't have achieved the scores I gave but with a bit of messing around it's simply amazing. Also when you can play a PS1 on the go always getting a 5/5 from me lol
Haven't experianced any of the others phones but to be honest whichever you pick bar the MEGA don't think you will be dissapointed its really a LEO vs Nexus battle so if you want android Nexus WM Leo.
Hope this helps
Both the HD2 & N1 are great choices...but depends on your OS, Apps, etc. preference's.
I have the Nexus One and there's no looking back...it is so fast & cool!
Personally, I would choose Leo, but as galaxys says, all will depend on what you want/need from a device.

I´m not an owner just gave this neutral full info, hope it´s ok
thanks for the thoughts. I think ive narrowed it down to the Nexus One and the HD2. Im still really torn though. I love android but i love stuff like the FM tuner and the dual flash in the HD2. :/ The other thing thats holding me back is the fact that they dont support ATT 3G. I heard about a ATT N1 but that could be months because ATT takes AGES to adopt unlocked phones, it took them almost a year for them to adopt the TP2. what to do, what to do....
Great thread so far!
I'm in the exact situation, but in London/UK
I'm currently on O2 via CPW (Car Phone Warehouse) which means I can jump to whoever, but have decided that I will buy the phone off-line to save a fair amount of money and use whatever SiM I feel fit. I'm not a greedy mobile user, but like at least anything from 400 to 1000 minutes talk on any network, similar or unlimited SMS's, and unlimited web usage.
Anywho... I was dead set on the HD2, as I'm coming from a HTC Touch HD. However, the Nexus One is almost like for like in actual spec, but of course a different and new OS to me. The main pluses that tipping the scales towards the HTC HD2 is (mainly) the larger screen, have a lot of great WM OS applications that I know and use often, M$ Office which I use at least once a week, the WM Contacts works pretty damn close to M$ Office on my HTPC (W7x64) and well lastly I know WM OS.
I'm not afraid of new that's for sure, as I been in more complicated situations and do a ROM update almost every couple weeks. I'm a heavy Windows user, but sadly have to use Mac OS on a weekly basis too, being a film editor (Mac's are NOT the best for film editing, but somehow other humans think it is).
So what is it about the Nexus One that gives it the ability to compete with the HD2? Are there plenty of great apps out there already? Does Android sync with M$ Outlook 2007 (or even 2010) perfectly OK? Is there anything I'm going to miss or moan about soon into a week of using a Nexus One?
What is your typical day on your phone 'bdk184'... what is key to you? [^_^]
I love my Touch HD, but wish it was faster and possible a better screen. The HD2 simply answers that... but somehow, I keep hearing in the back of my headphones... Nexus One. [-_-]
PS. Thanks for that comparison 'orb3000'... although it's made me think more, it's got me thinking the right questions. The Nexus One has a better colour depth... Hmm!?! [^_^]
i own the nexus one, and to be honest i do not like android... the phone is nice and all but i would prefer getting the htc hd2.
New - HTC Incredible on Android OS
@un1uncky - LoL! I think I've felt that many times too, but when I start using WinMo again, feels fine until I start hitting all the ugly GUi's again.
Hmm... another option maybe... HTC Incredible / http://www.techradar.com/news/phone...top-end-android-specs-668954?src=rss&attr=all

Never have I seen a name which suits as good as yours!!
Have you considered trying to do a trade for a HD2 in Marketplace or a straight sell to fund getting a HD2?
