sure if you want to fry your phone, my phone gets hot at about 600, your phone shouldnt even be stable at 825mhz, your phone would catch fire if you tried to set it that high, the mytouch just isnt built for that.
i use the cm5.0.7 kernel and am using 122/576Mhz. how do i easily overclock to 600mhz? is this possible with a hack or do i have to flash another kernel ?

If your asking if u can get to 1ghz then how did u get to 825mhz? I wouldnt even trust my phone running that high, I would put it down to 600-700
How hot is it running atm?
my phone flies actually and keeps cool like it was clocked at 384mhz and the battery rocks to tell u the truth...
u guys want me to post the kernal i use for u guys to see for urselves?

just flash it like u would flash a rom and reboot ur phone..get set cpu from the market or anywhere else...choose auto detect speeds...set the governor to userspac because if you dont then ur phone will crash...set to 825 mhz and enjoy!!!

G2x 1.5ghz 2.3.3
there are still currently some issues with the governor(s) that the tegra chips will use and OC on boot is a little quirky as well... patience my friend...
the great LG gods will hopefully release a nice 2.3.4 build for us with a new baseband and drivers to make our devices number 1!

I'm going to assume right off the bat you're on an EE4 froyo rom? the safest is 1.4ghz however not many peoples phones (myself included when I was on froyo) will be stable, there were random reboots and lockups galore... I was stable at 1.2ghz but as I said everyone's phones are different, but to answer your question yes you can go up to 1.4

i just dowloaded this app call tegrak overclock and it just asked me for superuser permission and i was able to overclock it to 1.2ghz.
i have it set to 100 - 1200 and its stable so thats why i was asking if it was safe to do 1.3ghz.

but i have installed on my charge tegrak.overclock and i am using setcpu, or am i suppose to use one?
i have installed it on my charge
ill post a video soon.
You can overclock with that, but personally, why would you use an app to load a module to overclock? You're forcing the system to do something it doesn't want to, which could easily lead to problems.

Good to see that tegrak works with the charge now and the people that want overclocking can have it. Always good to have the option to do something.

you need to change the model in the build.prop file.
it needs to say SCH-I510 not humble by Danalo1979 for the app to know what phone you are on.

hy guys..
i've oc my phone using no-frills and set max speed to 801mhz(using cm7 kernel)..governor : performance ;I/O : cfq...
it works while phone is on, then when i restart my phone it's back to default setting..
what about that?
it is usual for oc??
(sorry i am a newbie)
U must check apply on boot option in no frills cpu..well sometimes it might not work if ur phone hasn't shutdown properly n btw for precaution dont use max cpu for fit..in least cases it might damage ur hardware

so Dude, according to you what should i do? i've used a costum rom..so i think it is possible if i oc the cpu speed.. is that right?
Yup..if custom rom contains oc kernel then u can oc by using no frills cpu...most custm roms do have oc kernel BTW
Sent from my GT-S5670
Hmmmm.. i think using the max speed just wasting the battery..
I'm just using the oc for playing the hd games...
Just my opinion after all...

Your phone cant handle that, low your mhz, when it set right your phone doesnt reboot.
try another low freq about 700+

You can't use them
use a cpu app like set cpu, and downclock to 1134 mhz. Also set force gpu rendering to on under settings > develop, and u wont even notice the difference. Also use leeC's rogers ics base, its ucla3 and that radio will help with battery and receptiom
