[q] need help for overclocking my phone..

please tell me how to overclock my phone im using creeds rom v3.0. when i set the frequency in no frills cpu control at 819 mhZ its asking me for rebooting the phone and even after rebooting its coming again to stock frequency please help..

Your phone cant handle that, low your mhz, when it set right your phone doesnt reboot.

try another low freq about 700+

Hello world. I'm running faux 004 but when I try to mess with my CPU limits with SetCpu etc. It only goes up to 1.51. What do I have to do to make higher speeds available?

try system tuner to overclock your processor...it works with faux 004 (also if you want performance change the governer to ondemand. its possible with system tuner too)

Each kernel has a range of frequencies built in, check the specification before you flash to get the range you want. All of the CPU management apps can only work within the ranges defined in the kernel.

Try the new Bricked kernel. You can easily set the maximum and minimum frequencies simply by renaming the ZIP file. Use Recovery to flash. Setting CPU frequencies was never that easy!

I would say try bricked (like aayush mentioned). As he said, you can change the clock speeds by renaming the zip file (up to 1,944 Ghz, but only if your phone can handle it, so I would suggest that you first use "System Tuner" to test how high you can go with oc).

try searching for a kernel that supports hiigher clock rate
for example when flashing arhd it asks you about the kernel you want and not sure wich one can go to 1.7ghz or more

I agree...with bricked kernel, you can set CPU min/max....

I tried Bricked at 1.83 and works like a charm. Tried at 1.99 but after a minute or so my phone rebooted so I'm back to the more stable 1.83 and the battery is amazing!

Is this frequency safe?

If i use 800 mhz as my min freq? max at 1.2ghz cause i feel temple run runs smooth if my min freq is 800mhz. Or is it just me? Whats the best setting for gaming?

I ran temple run at 600 min n 1200max..it did run smoothly but my device heated up after an hour or so...

I have xxkpq rooted deodexed with cf root..i only use the camera hack n audio improvement, according to me using more tweaks causes instability..like random crashes..

Try thunder zap kernel but it only works with ics roms
You can't control the wind, but you can adjust your sails

You can use PMR (Pimp My Rom) or AT (Android Tweaker) to accomplish this before moving forward you need to ensure you have init.d and busy box

Bro im a Noob But a Little Bit Old in Android Development CAn u Tell Me The Steps to Use That PMR or AT

1) Google Play - Install Busy Box and then Pimp My ROM
2) Once done; activate the init.d support from Pimp My ROM
3) Then reboot;
4) Then explore the options of PMR for example CPU tweaks, app tweaks battery tweaks etc..etc... there are many options i cannot list all of them here just explore i am sure you will find out

If your phone is rooted, download a CPU tuner and over clock the speed(around 1400 mhz will be fine)

Without a Custom kernal its not Possible To Overclock

There's is no kernel for overclocking our phone. The thunderzap kernel for ics is not really overclocking our phone to 1.4ghz you can verify that through benchmark.

Use HYPERMOD ROM (Super Extreme v3) (not HYPERMOD v2 (Super Extreme v4), it is not overclocked) if you want overclocking on JB http://www.nikhilandmmxa110.com/2013/04/over-clocked-jellybean-rom-for-micromax.html
or http://http://www.andro-park.org/2013/03/custom-kernel-how-to-overclock-micromax-a110-canvas-2.html on stock ICS or Stock ICS v2.

No, I don't think so. Either install a custom ROM such as HYPERMOD (Super Extreme v3) or use the stock ICS.
