Hi, I bought my hd2 and it was with a Greek Rom. I used goldcard (thanks to this forum) and changed to wwe. If I now want to upgrade rom to 1.66 or any new release will I be able to download normally or I will have to use goldcard every time to upgrade roms?

As the Goldcard is a "temporary" solution which does not change the SPL on your phone (as HSPL would do), you have to use your Goldcard every time you want to flash an "official" ROM.
For further information, I do recommend the stickies here in the ROM forum.

I too am using the PDAMobiz ROM but would like to revert to the latest iMate, but it is not simple as the version is older. I'm sure there is a way but I haven't been able to find it.

Radio: 2.47.21
ext rom: 2.20.7.114.
So two questions:
a. Is the Greek version newer?
b. Can I have English system menus (I hate the Greek ones) but be able to write Greek on the Phonepad? (this is the only reason I want Greek - I understand that there is no Greek T9 anyway)

a. It's excactly the same version as the one you mentioned.
It just adds greek support

Try this
1) extract nk.nbf using typhoonnbfdecode or a similar one
2) flash 8002000-os.nb using awizard
You will still need to transfer ext.rom and radio rom manually.
If anyone knowledgeable is willing to create an executable for g4, go ahead because i don't have a g4 device.

me too and I have a G3 version
I installed the 2.2.0 english version and that saved the day.

I realy don't know.
I've flashed it thousands of times on g3 models. i've also flashed it many times on g4 models but with aWizard.
What I would do in your case, is to extract the nbf and flash it with aWizard.

i plan to sell my German Herald on ebay and i´m not sure if i am allowed to do so because it is unlocked via HardSPL. I Want to sell it with HTC´s warranty if possible...
Is there a way to get this undone ?

I´ve found something for Kaiser and Wizard - But no original SPL for my Herald....
Did anybody even try to revert the Herald ?
from what i understand to undo hard spl you must uspl the original ruu...(nbh) with the original spl on it.
So i just need to flash the HTC Rom and thats it ?
I didn´t understand that in the Tutorial - Maybe i should just try that !

yes. use USPl- with official ruu_signed.nbh AND spl.nbh

This works for the Wing. I assume if you get the Herald ROM it should work as well.

no you can't...you have a special version which doesn't allow you to flash to any new rom.

Just make sure your phone is CID unlocked first, install HardSPL then you can flash to any ROM on here.
You will also need to flash to a 6.1 compatible radio otherwise you may get no sound.

i guess you can't sense sarcasm on my last post. you can flash any rom you want, as you long as your phone is CID unlock. I'm assuming you haven't flashed any rom yet. Please read everything in the wiki to find out everything about your device. We get a lot of new people here, and we can't have newbies ask such simple questions when you can learn everything by reading the wiki. For my last post, I'm just joking. You can flash a WM6.1, but read the stickies and the wiki first before anything.

If your Vox isn't CID unlock, You have to use SSPL (SoftSPL) to upgrade ROM to another language or cooked ROM. Original HTC Vox rom you can find here:
