Adesivo TouchScreen Diamond - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Accessories

Ciao a tutti
grazieee

Hello everyone
A week ago, I dropped the diamond breaking the LCD.
Bring it in for service because it was impractical to replace the figure was around 130 euros.
I tried finding parts on eBay for around 25 euros lcd and touch.
After you have done me the replacement (A difficult task) work equally well ...
Now I just have a big problem, failing to touch the vines is "attached" to the LCD via an adhesive (the old one was a double-sided sponge of small thickness, but useless!), I put a simple double-sided tape (Scotch thickness) but it is too little tough.
In fact I infiltration of dust between the LCD and touch very annoying, also the touch is not so stable.
Can anyone recommend a good adhesive except ??????, various glues and double-sided sponge (these are too thick and the touch transhipped out cover)

Swedish shop for Diamond Accessories...

I just received my leather pouch + screen cover for my Diamond...
I ordered it at 7 July and received it today, 21 July, so quite a long wait
But it was worth it... I haven't found any other place that sell Diomond stuff and it was cheap and no shipping cost! ( 150 swedish kr )
And I got a screen protector with it...
They have 'crystal case' and 'Silicone case' for it also, I'm going to order one each right now
The quality seems good ... but I will test it now for a couple of days, then I tell you guys what I think...

EDIT...
Ok, so now I've used it for some time .. and I'm very happy with it ...
The 'leather' doesn't get scratched or ripped easy.
And the belt clip works, and I've tried it, was out drinking at a punk concert... and I got to drunk and forgot I had my diamond on my belt.
Well you can figure it out .. was jumping around like crazy.. And it stayed there!! (lucky me!)
One thing, be careful when u use the lightsaber app... The pouch is open at the top... I almost threw away my diamond when I was showing off my 'diomond jedi lightsaber'

Has anyone tryed so use Dual 3 G SIM Card? i hope it fits in the Diamond!
Nice Leather Case. But will it still fit if you use the 1350 mAh HTC extended battery? It doesn't look like it can be stretched enough for that.

No I don't think that it will fit with the extended battery...
There is no stretch part at the sides... leather all around, and it's pretty slick around the phone...
Hm, know where I can get a 12V charger? Basically only need the part that goes in the cigarette lighter in the car, with a female USB connection on the other end. That way I can use a standard A-a USB cable to charge my phone. Tried Biltema, but couldn't find anything on ther homepage...

EDIT: Sorry about the Swedish ... will post in English in future posts
Tack för sidan!

Clean properly with isopropanol and use the sticky side of tape and pick up any residue before you put the protection on. You could also use the same sticky tape to remove the shield rather than peeling it off.
Screen & Back protecter

You used it will you charged it, and it is dual sim... it is pretty obvious what that is.
Is it that so obvious to you?
I came from Zenfone 2 and no such thing with it. And still dual SIM while use and charge.
So... Maybe it's obvious to you for lack of experience with other smartphones.

This phone needs serious undervolt, i wish we can do that in the future, it gets too hot playing games and yet i have it underclocked to 1.1 ghz.

My last phone was Zen2, sold it for the Idol 3. Yes, it didn't get as warm but it's battery life didn't even compare. Octacores get hotter than quad cores, simple physics. You act like you never had a smartphone before. Try using the Exynos S4... then you will know what an overheating phone feels like.
Mine showing through power clean that location services and sometimes google play services are throttling the cpu, and causing overheat.. Bug from previous android systems, can't wait for source code so we can get custom rom and finish this agony for once..

FWIW, androidpolice noted how the Snapdragon 615 in other phones has a bit of a reputation for running hot, but they didn't notice it as much on the Idol 3:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/0...-buys-you-so-much-more-phone-than-it-used-to/
In the Desire 820 and Oppo R5, these A53s can get very hot. But in the Idol 3, they stay substantially cooler - and I think that's because the Idol 3 slows down and throttles more readily than those phones. I hate to drag Alcatel into this Qualcomm throttling quagmire, but I have long had reservations about the Snapdragon 615, and having now used three phones with the chip, the Idol 3 continues to validate them.

Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS hardware sensor repair

Apparently watchback sensor failure is a very common thing on the Ticwatch Pro 3 family. One look at the Mobvoi support forum will show you that.
I made this post to the Mobvoi forum and it was moderated into oblivion. Mobvoi does not want people to know the truth.
I recently suffered the same thing on my Pro 3 GPS, conveniently two months after the warrantee ran out. Mobvoi, who should really extend the warrantee period for sensor failures since they are endemic, only offered me 30% off of a new watch. I figured I had a good chance of fixing it myself and, if I screwed it up worse, they'd take the busted watch in trade since all they do is shred the returns anyways.
Having seen a teardown photo of an earlier Ticwatch, I figured either the watchback flex cable connector had come loose, or the breather valve had leaked (even though I don't swim with this IP68 rated watch I do take the occasional shower). There was plenty of evidence for both cases reading between the lines of the Mobvoi forum.
To open the case it was not enough to merely remove the four, #3 Torx fasteners from the back. It turns out the back is glued on with some RTV-like material. Very careful work with a razor blade and some screwdrivers from tiny to merely small to pry the back apart was successful. Sure enough, I had both problems. The flex connector was loose, and there was evidence of water intrusion and corrosion on the board which surrounds the breather valve.
I cleaned the board up, painted on some new RTV with a pin under a microscope (this is very fussy, delicate work, probably not for the over-caffeinated), put it back together and it now works fine. The only downside is that I no longer want to get the watch wet since I have no way to pressure test it.
If I could do this over again, I probably would have warmed the watch in a 150F oven just to try to loosen the RTV a little before attempting to remove the watchback. Mobvoi could have made this an easily repairable item if they had used a more conventional gasket, but why would they want to do that?
Some photos showing the flex connectors and the board near the breather valve. Ignore the glue remnants, those were cleaned off later and were not a factor in the failure. I thought it was worth posting this somewhere in the hope it might help someone else, and Mobvoi won't allow it at their place.
Flex lead and plug from sensors. This was found halfway out of the board receptacle:

Board receptacle for flex connector:
The breather valve is the assembly found in the round hole in the middle of the marked board. That board, the IC on it, and the passives on it had corrosion all over them. Luckily they cleaned up well with a spudger, some swaps, and some isopropyl under the microscope:
Hey what kind of sensor issues did you got?
I've been seeing intermittent HR and SO2 sensor issues in my ticwatch pro3.
I've read a bunch of posts in the mobvoi forums that talk about similar issues linked to water damage...
The weird thing is that when I restart my watch, usually, the sensors start working again, them they randomly stop working after a few hours or so.
This weird behaviour leads me to believe that this is some software thing (like a weird firmware bug), not water damage...
Anyway, loved the post, and I'm really tempted to replicate... But I'm really afraid to damage my watch and end up having a paper weight instead of a watch with annoying sensors xD
(Ps.: I'm running the latest firmware, and check frequently hopping for a update)
I had intermittent sensor readings to start. I first noticed it with the running/rucking app Strava, my HR data was junk. Then the watch would randomly go secure on me and require a PIN input--the intermittent sensors were interfering with reliable on-wrist detection. This got worse and worse over a period of a few months. Finally the sensors failed totally. Calibration would always fail, no HR could be measured, etc. I had to remove the PIN (thus disabling Google Pay) to use the watch.
So you might want to wait for the sensors to totally fail, or you might not. But I don't think it's a software/firmware issue. Now that I've repaired my watch it works 100% reliably.

Question NReal Air

Hi all,
Can someone out there help me please? This NReal Air is so good and it would be a shame not to have it work on the excellent Mix Fold 2.
Situation:
The NReal Air does not display any images on the glasses themselves once I plug in the USB-C cable to the phone.
I have downloaded and installed the latest version of the app, Nebula
Once the glasses and phone are connected, a pop-up appears and says do I want to open the Nebula app. I click yes and the app crashes. I click no and nothing happens.
I have allowed all permissions available.
I have used Hidden Settings and allowed all permission available.
Note: The NReal Airs work with my Surface Duo 2. But the AR mode is not compatible.
I‘m not fussed about the AR mode but I would like to have the glasses at least display (mirror) the phone screen.
If you need any other information, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Another note: My Mix Fold 2 is unlocked and rooted with AndroPlus’s method.
That's an unfortunate limitation of the HW. the Mix fold 2 does not output video through the USBC port, this is why it is not working.
I am also very disappointed with this but i knew this before I bought the Mix fold 2.
Cheers.
Hello,
1. And for Oppo Find N, Nreal Air work or not ?
2. Can i use my Goggles 2 from Dji with Nreal Air for duplicate screens from Goggles Dji that i use for my Avata ?
Thanks for you help.

Hi, I don’t have a specific time for this but we will notify you when Air is released in more Europe countries. Maybe you can purchase Air from EE?
And Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is not compatible with Air, cuz it doesn’t support USB 3.0 and DP.

Hi,
as it looks now, you can’t really buy the nReal glasses from EE, unless you have a UK EE phone number and you’re lucky enough to make their online shop miraculously work.
Quick side-note question: do the Samsung S10 glasses work with the Air?
nreal-dev

Hi, please check this list. Compatibility 254
Seems only S10 (SC-03L(docomo)) is compatible with Air.

Got it, thank you. Can a Samsung S10 owner still use the Air in DP mode, as a mirrored display? I’m thinking it could be used with Samsung DEX for a nice private desktop experience and I would tottaly buy it for this alone.
nreal-dev
Aug '22
Samsung S10 has DP Alt output, so Air can work as a mirror display and also work normally under Dex mode. And you can check the following link for operation.

Hello, I looked at the compatibilities but I did not find my model (Xiaomi mi 10t pro), is it compatible with? Also if he doesn’t, can he be later? Finally I would like to make a workstation in its primary purpose is it possible to display the screen of my computer directly?

Hi, it is because the Xiaomi MI 10T pro doesn’t come with DP output. Also, we don’t test the workstation, not sure if it works perfectly. But if the workstation comes with DP, you can try it.

Btw, telling people in Europe to try a store in the UK isn’t very helpful since the UK isn’t in the European Union anymore. We’d be forced to pay VAT and import taxes and everything which would make an already expensive British Pound even more expensive! (The Nreal Air is 399 GBP which is about €450, a VAT of 21% and then the import taxes, which vary by country. For example here in Spain it’d be 2.5%. So in total the Nreal Air would be €555!)

Really sorry about it. We will try to expand the overseas market to meet the request of Air glass for European regions.

Hello,
I got Nreal Air glasses for myself and I’m located at Netherlands.
I have the glasses tested with Nreal adapter on Nvidia Shield 2017 and i can tell it works ok, but it’s a pity that adapter is discharging and there is nothing to let you know to save your game at GeForce Now for example. It’s just shutting down.
Because I’m at different country than listed, I can’t use Nebula.
I got Poco F2 Pro and Xiaomi Mi Max 2. They aren’t new phones, but they supposed to have a video output through USB C port.
It would be great to be able to run Nebula on them.
I decided to check the list of the phones that are supported by Nreal and I decided to check if my Nreal Air glasses will work with Samsung Galaxy S10e, because I got one in my range. I have found this phone model is listed for Spain and Germany.
Guess what.
Even if I got a supported Samsung Galaxy S10e (at Netherlands) can’t use Nebula:
from Play Store, can’t install app because of country/region limitation
downloaded apk can be installed, but is giving same error like for any unsupported phone.
First question:
Is there any solution from Nreal about how to keep on playing on the console and maybe charge Nreal adapter at same time?
Second question:
When if ever Nreal is going to get open the country/region Nebula LOCK?
Third question:
If there is a way to use Nreal Air glasses with consoles through Nreal adapter and HDMI cable, where is support for pc/laptop HDMI output?

Question Does your S23 have camera issues? Blurred image? Bananagate? Other problems?

I'm opening this topic to get this information to all S23/S23+ users.
We have a serious problem with the camera and Samsung has come to say that it is a feature and so far Samsung has been washing its hands and not pronouncing itself, not even issuing a statement about this problem.
Is your S23 good? Vote!
Almost 6 years separate the OnePlus 5T from the S23+ and still, the 5T gets better definition and focus, despite the fact that the 5T already has enough problems with the Camera.
But Samsung continues to say that it is a function and characteristic of the lens of the S23+ what is clearly seen in the "banana" effect is a circle of blur, perhaps not because of the sensor but because of the poor construction of the lens. I, like many others, feel cheated for having bought the S23.
Look at the photos and draw conclusions.

OnePlus 5T
Samsung S23+
5T vs S23+
Yes. Very bad photos if you dont hold the phone completeley still. Also in apps like snapchat, it takes 2 seconds to capture the photo, which is often completely blurred (not out of focus, but a preview of two secs before tapping the shutter button)
S23 (non +) user here. My phone's been suffering from the very same issue and in 90%+ of all the photos I have taken with it so far you can clearly spot the 'banana-spahed' blur at first sight without having to pixel-peep.
The phone itself is amazing.. yet the cameras turned out to be a huuuge letdown. Never seen such inconsistent, over-sharpened and over-processed images before. And then there's the blur which ruins pretty much every image taken (even more). My 2016 LG G5 takes better and sharper images than my S23..
Can someone that also uses snapchat confirm my issue please? It can't be just me...

Sure
My S23 256mb arrived yesterday and today I returned it!
It had horrible focus and the bananagate effect too!
My old Honor 8 from 2016 focus better on close subjects than S23.
I refuse to believe this is normal on a 2023 flagship!

It's sad to say, but from 2020 smartphones have gotten worse and worse, the S23 is not worthy of a flagship, the camera has issues and Samsung just won't admit it.

Yep that's what I've experienced too!
I tested the S23 against my Tablet S8+ / Pixel 6a / Honor 8 and all of them took clean focused pictures of documents. This situation is important to me because I digitalize a lot of documents like this.
The Samsung official position about this is that it is a normal effect and for this kind of utilization we must take the photo using the 2x or 3x option with the phone far from the paper. I refuse to believe this.
But even assuming that the 2x or 3x method solves it, this problem does not end here (on close up shots) because there are reports of image blur in the same sensor place (left side when in landscape) when shooting normal daily photos.
Another report I did read but did not test, is that if we put that same A4 paper on a wall (instead of a table) and take the photo with the phone vertically, the banana effect does not occur! Can anyone test this scenario? If this is true it blows out of the water the theory of 2x/3x and takes it to a mechanical problem due to gravity orientation of the sensor or other camera component.
I have been using my S23+ for two months now and no issues on camera like that...

How can I check that?
But I believe it was made here in Brazil, where I live.

The country where your device was made is printed on the box, on the sticker where you can also see the IMEI.
Well I don't have that kind of issues. Images are all good and focused (no blur on the side), only in snapchat it has some kind of shutter lag for like 2 seconds.
