back to original ROM - HTC Vox

back to original rom 6.5 to 6.0 as I do?
Another question, if I return back my vox continue to recognize my 8GB microSD? I need some drivers?
also show this might be too risky?

no one can advise me on how to return all so original?

how can I restore the original firmware to my s710

HTC's homepage. I would point you to or ftp, but it appears that our files are gone...

Yes, you need to register at the HTC homepage, then register your device with IMEI. You can then select your device and download your ROM after putting the IMEI there.
If you have a native (non-rebranded) S710 this is no problem afaik.

so just do the procedure ORIGINAL? unloading the rom and the launch? or do I have some operation

I tried with the original ROM, but the phone does not allow to put the rom freezes on the screen, red-blue-white than the spl and the program does not go forward.
why? as I return to the original ROM?

A few questions:
- How did you get your HTC S710 updated to another ROM?
- Which cooked ROM have you loaded?
- what do the numbers in the 3-color screen tell?
- is there any error message on the device or on the PC?
- how long do you wait until you say it freezes?
- did you try another USB cable or USB port on the PC?
- which OS do you run on the PC?
BTW: 6.0 already supports SDHC cards, no need for updated drivers there.

Then I installed 6.5 version 1 but I liked it so download the ROM and the battery is not working properly, neon rose to 6.1 was good but had problems with active sync
-me with the cable connection failure after a wait of 5 minutes
and I have to restart the celluar
I installed 6.5 on a 8gb but I am not interested I would like to retrieve a phone

resolved thanks I now hold my s710 your rom is working perfectly fine but too many bugs for me that are not experienced by all
DP was the usb

Graphics problems after WM6 upgrade

Hi there
I'm a noob to PDA things but I decided to upgrade my S200 to WM6 (that was NOT a good idea!)
After downloading this http://rs23l34.rapidshare.com/files/17953287/3266540/smart1_wm6_pp8mb.exe file I run the upgrade batch file BUT it was working for 50min so I unplugged the device. I probably should not do that!! ...because there are some problems: no ringtone for incoming calls, no digits to dial an outgoing call and many theme problems.
Now I'm not able to connect it to activesync (4.5) to do a downgrade because a message comes up that says "ActiveSync cannot connect to the WM device" and there's a network icon on the tray with limited connectivity. I did 3 hard resets by holding power + camera + comm manager buttons + reset and I've tried the trick with the camera button pressed while powering on and after connect it to USB but still nothing...
Can someone help??? I'd like to have WM6 installed but I really have to fix my phone even If I have to setup WM5 again.
Many thanks
Try to make a RUU downgrade in bootloader mode!
Way 1: Download the ROM from the 02 homepage and after 15 min you have a fully useable WM5 device!
Way 2: To reinstall an another WM6 Rom you have to flash AKU2.2 and then you can try to install a different WM6 Rom! You can find AKU2.2 in the threads of the WM6 Roms. The name of the file is often ...TEMP.zip like in PDA Viet!
Happy flashing!

How I'll do that? There is no connection to activesync
Is there any way to flash from the memory card?
In active sync, disable connect through USB. Then enter bootloader (Camera button and soft reset), and then run the RUU. Your device should start properly now.
Great!!!!!!!! it worked!!!!!
Thanks a lot
No problem.

I want to flash my XDA Neo with a new ROM (WM6)
However,
I have successfully connected my Phone with ActiveSync 4.5 on WinXP SP2
Then I run an RUU Utility.
The Phone goes into Bootloader (RGB Screen) and then the connection is lost.
From then I couldn't etablish a connection to the Phone.

I would join to this question - I have the same problem: somewhere in the middle of flashing my Prophet with Prophet_PV_Temp my Prophet started a dead-cycle with connecting-disconnecting...And I can not reflash it. Now I also have Bootloader (RGB screen) which is on when Prophet is not connected to PC and when I connect it to PC, it disconnects-reconnects-disconnects-reconnects-......
What is the solution?

So ,finally I found the solution with this issue and problem with my Prophet's restarting after it's registering to the cellular network (I wrote about it in another treeds as well).
After I tried to reflash my Prophet with different WM6 ROMs, different Radio ROMs, reassembled and cleaned it, reflashed to original WM5 ROM and nothing helped, I just came to an idee to replace the battery, unless Prophet indicated that still it's a lot of power (min 50%)...I ordered the battery and when I received it and replaced, everything is running as it should be!!!!

Poblem with reverting to original stocks

Hi there, I tired to issue my problem in some other threads, but without any response so far - probably my problem is more specific.
I was using AHEN 6.5-R6i Rom for few weeks when some time after charging my Raphael was not powering up at all. I presume no relation between Ahen rom and the problem (as described further).
I bought new battery and it occurred that probably power charging circuit was damaged, because it newer completed charging, the device was always very hot and discharged in few minutes even when turned off (until completely drained out). What is more the USB connector works only for charging (maybe damaged data connection circuit?).
As a result, before returning the device for guarantee servicing I wanted to downgrade all the roms to the original ones. As advised I started with Radio and OS stocks, but after bootloader update (from SD card, cause my USB doesn't work) I got only "upgrading ROM code error" and the device tries to load some ROM, but putting any on SD card doesn't work anymore.
Any suggestions how to cope with this situation?
If you need help please provide us with important information. So fill your signature first. Mainly if you have hard-spl or if you bought olipro cid unlock and what exactly you have done until now. Also wether your device is CDMA or GSM? If it is GSM than you have to first restore Stock Radio first, after that if you cid-unlocked the phone you have to relock it again. Than remove hard-spl and install stock ROM. But if your USB is broken, i think there is no chance to remove Hard-SPL neither to restore to stock. Remember that when you are in a bootloader and you do not see that the device is connected to activesync or Windows Mobile Device Center it does not mean that it is not connected. Just check you hear the sound indicating that something is connected to usb in vista or windows xp.

=> done
Mainly if you have hard-spl or if you bought olipro cid unlock and what exactly you have done until now.
=> chnged SPL to OliNex, OS to AHEN 6.5-R6i, Radio to version required by AHEN rom
Also wether your device is CDMA or GSM? If it is GSM than you have to first restore Stock Radio first, after that if you cid-unlocked the phone you have to relock it again. Than remove hard-spl and install stock ROM.
=> I retracked the changes as indicated changing both radio and OS to original ones, but had just problem at last step = flashing oryginal SPL (because I made it from SD).
But if your USB is broken, i think there is no chance to remove Hard-SPL neither to restore to stock.
=> Hmm, anyway right now I am stack because bootloader is "loading ..." every time I reboot the device.
Remember that when you are in a bootloader and you do not see that the device is connected to activesync or Windows Mobile Device Center it does not mean that it is not connected. Just check you hear the sound indicating that something is connected to usb in vista or windows xp.
=> I tried to use some terminals to see if I can execute commands directly or see any output, but I haven't even succeeded to open the port. Maybe I am doing something wrong - I give it a try once more tonight.
So what version of SPL is bootloader showing? If it's showing something like 1.90.0000, you are in bootloader and USB circuit is not damaged you should be able to normaly flash ROM from your provider from bootloader. So download the ROM from your T-Mobile it should be some exe. When you see bootloader tricolor screen coonect usb cable from Touch Pro to computer and run the exe soubor with your desired ROM. It should work if everything is OK!
If your device is showing 1.90.OliNex, than i cant help you because i do not know how to remove Hard-SPL from bootloader, maybe it is possible, but for more experienced tech guy, who i am not
PS: Hope you did not bricked your device because Hard-SPL and removing Hard-SPL is all done with cable, you cant do it from SD, and you cant flash original SPL before removing Hard-SPL!
hmm, it seems that I have managed to flash, at least partly, the original SPL from SD card, cause it shows version 1.90.0000. Partly, because it states that the previalus rom update was not successful :-(
In this state (in boot loader mode) I can't even charge battery so I have to do it externaly. Connecting to PC doesn't work (PC USB and cable are fine). The only thing that change after connecting to USB charger is that device gets hot ...
i am sorry to say, that you probably bricked your device... Maybe someone could help with more advanced hardware, software support, but i am not the right person...You can try to put your device to service and hope they will not recognize what have you done, but it depends on your stock SPL version. I got czech T-Mobile and stock SPL was 1.69.0000, so maybe yours was the same...
Next time please read more carefully, search or ask someone if you are not still sure, things about flashing SPLs are very dangerous if they are not done carefully...
Can anyone help this guy? He tried to flash original SPL over Hard-SPL, and therefore it is not looking very well for him to unbrick his Touch Pro...
So ... I got it from the service and they changed the motherboard and the battery, no charges
It was brickes, because of cherging circuit issue.
Unfortunatley I send it back to service, because the loudspeaker is not working ...
Actually I am the same exact boat as the OP. My phone stopped charging and its because the USB port is broken. I need to change the phone back to stock but if its not charging its probably not going to get a connection to the computer either. I read that on at least the Hermes it was possible to flash from the SD card. This is not possible for the TP? Thanks

You can flash the ROM, radio, splash screens etc etc from SD card - you will then have to send the phone back with hard spl still installed as you need a usb connection to remove it.
Dont assume you cant get a usb data conenction though - try it and see!
I did try the connection, didn't work. How do you flash from the sdcard? I just dont want to brick it.
Please read this thread on how to flash (including how to flash from SD card).
Again, (assuming you have the correct hard SPL currently flashed) you can flash a ROM, radio & splash screens etc to your phone from the SD card (one at a time) but as previously said you need a USB connection to flash hard spl (dont attempt it from the sd card).
So, my Raphael arrived from service after the second repair (loudspeaker not working) - it seems all works this time
By the way, that is correct that a USB connection is necessary to flash hard spl, but .. I was desperate because the USB was broken, so I tried it from SD. The effect was good enough for the service - the Hard-SPL seemed to be reverted to oryginal one, however the booting was stacked at loading the ROM

HTC HD2 stuck on "Loading..." screen when downgrading

Well, I've updated few htcs before and everything went fine. But there's always the first time...
I upgraded my htc hd2 spl 1.42.0000 to hspl2, wanted to upgrade rom/radio too, but couldn't find any rom I do like, and then I got no more leisure to play with it. So there was only hspl2 replaced on the device and that's it. Everything was fine for a month or two, then suddenly the phone function stopped to work (couldn't register into network anymore). Wanted to send back to factory for repair, but to avoid warranty loss I wanted to downgrade the hspl to stock spl. Downloaded stock image at htc site (was 1.48.something), did everything exactly in a way described in the video tutor, and - got stuck on light gray "Loading..." screen after the colourful one, and nothing more. Tried to update ROM via activesync for test, got stuck at 0% and that's it (although the connection is fine), googled a lot, browsed a lot of xda-dev... still nothing useful found.
Technical info + what shows in the colourful screen:
Eastern Europe HTC HD2
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.0000 8G XE
I would really appreciate if someone could tell me, what it is, and how to fix it!
Thank you in advance.
I believe when you did the original HSPL, you selected the wrong version. The SPLs that end with '.0000' are the stock ones. Assuming the HSPL was done correctly it should read "2.08.hspl". Try flashing HSPL again, this time select .hspl, then flash your ROM. Should be good to go.
Edit: When people say you need a stock SPL to send it in for warranty, Im not sure if you need the exact same one it came with or not. Because you basically just reflashed a stock one anyway, you might be able to just send it in for repairs as is, but Im not 100% on that.

Thanks for the tip and trick. Unfortunately, like I said this doesn't help, cause flashing doesn't work. Tried hspl2 and hspl3 as well. The screen turns 3-color, then gray "Loading..." like it was when flashing from sdcard, and stucking on it...
When installing hspl3, the software on the computer says (while having that "Loading..." screen on the phone):
CRITICAL ERROR
Flow: 00000001
Error code: 00000002
Description: USB Connect failed!
(although ActiveSync shows connected and sync/exploring runs fine)
I'm becoming really unhappy with this one.
What OS is on your PC? Are you making sure Anti-Virus is disabled before flashing? If Win7 right click on the HSPL and choose 'run as admin'. Your using a USB slot on the rear (main motherboard) of your PC and not one of the front ones right?
It suddenly started to work today. I have no idea, what happened, did the same steps as before. The GSM function is still broken, but now, as the flashing worked finally, I'm able to send it back for repair without a risk to lose warranty. Mystical.
Thanks anyway for your time and willing to help.
...had the same these days on an HD2 which I successfully up-/downgraded at least half a dozen times before.
Did the MTTY 29 thing (again, surely the 6th time, never had any problem before) and afterwards had the issue you describe.
What helped me was re-flashing the HardSPL. Afterwards all worked 'as usual'.
Hope that helps others, Franky
Ok
and if my usb plug is broken?
I can't flash from sd, because it stops on the 'loading...' screen. I even tried the gold card method and still stuck on 'loading...'.
Wat's even worse my current system is rather unstable and WM sees only 208mb of ram...
Any suggestions?

Hi Guys,
I'm a new guy in this great site, because I bought a T-mobile HD2 recently, via china, and it's not a fake!!!

The phone is only in sleep mode and not off.
Can you help me to resolve this problem?

If you can get to the bootloader (four color stripes) then do so and then connect the phone to the PC. Wait until word 'serial' changes to 'USB'. Then start update on the PC (normally click the _RUU_(...).exe and follow the steps).
If fails please write at what point.
