[SOLVED] Black Screen after flash - myTouch 3G, Magic Android Development

Hi,
Sorry for my english...
I have a little problem after flash.
I installed Cyanogen ROM (18/12), and after this, Enoch thème (the last one, 19/12).
After reboot, i saw the "SFR logo", et the "Enoch logo", but after, just a black screen.
Before that, i installed Cyanogen and GChrome theme without problem.
How can i repear that (i flashed SPL and Recovery) ?
I wanted remove the battery, and reboot on recovery mode, to flash with another ROM, but i prefer ask what to do here before...
Thanks in advance.

U´ve wipe before apply other themes.
Wipe, apply ROM, after this, apply theme.
Cheers.

Thanks for answering.
Yes i wiped.
That's what i did.
Wipe -> HTC ROM -> Cyanogen -> GChrome -> No problem
Then,
Wipe -> HTC ROM -> Cyanogen -> Enoch -> Black screen (i'm still on this black screen)
Have an idea to repair that ?

The Enoch Theme is ported to your ROM? Whats ROM version do u use now?
CM 4.2.9.1 or older?

I put Cyanogen 4.2.1.9 yes, i took the last one.
And Enoch theme has been updated for this rom (1.4.9.1 here)
I am still on the "black screen" which appear next "SFR Logo" and "Enoch logo", what should i do right now ?
Pull off the battery, and reboot the phone on recovery mode to reflash with another ROM ?
Thanks.

Whats recovery do you use? Case you use Amon_RA, whats version?

I'm using the latest version of RA's recovery, i updated it 2 days ago.
Edit: This one, it is the latest : recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.5.2G.img
Edit2: I also can try to connect my G2 to the PC, and write on the terminal "fastboot boot recoveryblabla.img" no ?

To reflash the ROM:
1º) Power off the phone
2º) Power on press and hold home key.
3º) Wipe
4º) Flash zip from sdcard (choose cyanogem ROM).
5º) Reboot your phone.

Yes, i know how to reflash the ROM, but the problem is for the first step ! ^^
"Power off the phone". How can i do that ? I can't without take off the battery. (the power off button does nothing right now)
I take off it ?
Or i do "fastboot boot recovery.img" on my PC when connected to my phone ?
Thanks.

Bricked?

Hi guys.
Just after downloading and installing the new update for my Desire S, it now seems to be bricked...
It installed succesfully, rebooted, and it was stuck at the bootscreen.
Then I pulled out the battery, booted again and still stuck at the bootscreen.
I can get into "hboot" (holding volume down+power) but when I select "recovery" in that menu, it shows a red explanation mark.
How can I fix my phone?!
Thanks!
try to reinstall recovery image then go to recovery and flash any backup.
until u can go to bootloader thats good

4. wait.. press vol-down (yes) to install
5. reboot with vol-down pressed

Although I don't know how people having this problem can get the PG88IMG.zip on the sd-card, just a tip; I used a sd-card reader.
UPDATE: Yeah, it worked! thank you man!

never pull out battery.better use volume up+down+power button to restart phone.
cheers
Glad to hear you sorted it. An I'm glad I stumbled across this because I am guilty of doing numerous battery pulls x x glad I know about this reset technique now. Thanks again guys. Also I would recommend Endymion Rom sense 3.5. No problems as of yeaterday and really smooth. I even have around 250mb free ram most of the time. Happy flashing.

[Q] [HELP] Loop + No access to Recovery

That's my first post here in the One S forum and, unfortunately, not a happy one.
I used to have fun with modding a long time ago, with the HTC Desire, but when I bought the One S, I didn't even root it, until yesterday.
To unlock the bootloader and install the TWRP recovery I used the All-in-One toolkit; then I installed a MIUI v5 porting and updated to the latest version.
Not satisfied with it, this morning I decided to try Sense 5 with TrickDroid 10.3.2: I did a TWRP backup, wiped the necessary and installed the zip.
Now the phone is in an infinite loop.. that would be ok, but I can't get to fastboot or recovery.
The problem is that even before I wasn't able to get to fastboot with the button combo (even if I disabled fastboot in MIUI settings), and to access the recovery I used the command provided in the All-in-One toolkit.
I'm not able to use the All-in-One toolkit since the device can't be found while turning on.
So now I'm here with my phone vibrating every 30 seconds or so and that's a bit frustrating...
Do any of you know what to do?
If you need any further information just ask, and sorry for my English, I hope everything is clear.
Thank you in advance
Francesco
P.S.: It is the S4 version.

That is not a brick lol
That warning logo isn't a big deal. Everyone who has unlocked their bootloader gets it. And seems like you have erased your recovery by selecting "Factory Reset".
1. Download All-In-One Tool kit for HTC One S from the Development forum.
2. Flash a custom recovery. TWRP recommended.
3. Boot into recovery, mount sd card, copy your rom.
4. Flash your ROM.
5. Boot into fastboot
6. flash boot.img
7. Restart :good:

[Q] Attempted CM11 Upgrade Gone Wrong

So I've installed/changed ROMs numerous times but must have slipped up this time.
Attempted to use TWRP to install CM ROM; got an error (can't recall exactly). Used TWRP option to reboot and now I'm stuck in an endless Asus logo loop.
I can get to the 3 icon screen (RCK - Android - Wipe Data).
What are my options at this point?

The tablet drained down to 0% overnight (due to the boot loop). I downloaded your file and transferred it to the microSD card and then plugged in the tablet to charge.

I rooted/unlocked the device more than a year ago; didn't right any of that down so no idea.
Last ROM I was using was a CM build.
Never used fastboot or adb (AFAIK) so no idea if I can; never pulled a logcat - is there a process for that somewhere to follow?
UPDATE - it appears I can get into APX mode - PC doesn't find the drivers so that's my next step. Once done what are my options?
No luck on TF700 APX drivers. Windows sees it as "Unknown Device". Found 1 thread on Google that referenced TF700 APX drivers but the file it links to is gone.

Device shuts down, when I try to enter TWRP from the bootloader.

My phone works great with official CM13 and I just wanted to flash a new boot logo to get rid of the "warning logo", but I can't enter TWRP. Sry, I wrote it wrong. The flashing worked without an error, but it is still not possible for me to enter the recovery. No changes from 2.8.6.0 to 2.8.7.0.
I enter bootloader, press recovery, but the phone just shuts down. Booting to system is normally working and I can use my phone like always. I just can't enter the recovery.

No I don't think so. Should I try any wipes that don't erase my system like chache and dalvik. Or should I flash CWM to try if that works?
Edit: I can enter the recovery with "adb reboot recovery" and it works fine. Even the "flackering line" is gone , but I think that is because of the latest twrp update. What shall I do now to get recovery access from bootloader?

Hmhhh very odd
Step one is make full backup in twrp also backup the SD card so you can wipe the phone clean
I would try to use moto g aio tool from xda and return the phone to full stock
And then download the latest recovery IMG from the link the dude gave you earlier and flash it using the aio tool (there you can remove the warning boot IMG safely too
Then push your files back and try to restore (skip cache and dalvik)
Report back and Good luck
The backup is essential since you can access recovery
Thx for your advices. I think the problem appeared first after one of the latest cm13 nightlies. I now install the latest from today and maybe it works. I don't know if the ROM can cause problems with the recovery, but maybe.
Then I will follow your steps.
I flashed the stock rom through fastboot. Then I flashed latest twrp + fix boot logo => still the same problem (phone shuts down when pressing "recovery mode". But there is a new problem now:
I can not enter the recovery through adb anymore. I type "adb reboot recovery" -> phone reboots -> 4 sec black screen -> "no command" with the android on the ground.
I got no error while flashing the recovery except the standard error (mismatched partition size recovery).
OH MY GOD.
I have never been such a retard...
In the bootloader I pressed the power button to confirm instead of the volume up button. oh damn.
I became used to the power button as the confirm button. I'm so clumsy in the last time, also with my motorcycle. I destroyed the electric a bit, because I connected two wrong cables...
Edit:
Flashed again to the stock rom for the 2nd time. Now everything is working for now.
