did you try to wipe/cache or do a factory reset then reboot. Question - Is this your first time ever rooting any android device? do you know how to use adb? since you can simply push the Su zip file over to your device from recovery

now if thats all you did I would wipe cache and try and restart. ADB tutorials are all over
Edit: How did you root - you used a toolkit?

Either use the Advanced Reboot options in the power menu or turn your phone off and hold the volume down+power button till it vibrates. ±15 seconds and you are in your recovery.

S7500 cannot boot into recovery - hangs always on logo samsung

Hi, I try to explain my problem :
I wanted to sell this phone ( was rooted and had ADW launcher etc. on it ) . I cleaned all the apps in connection with my gmail adress.
After that i did a restart but nothing happened. Just the start screen and the samsung logo, where it hangs.
What did i try thusfar :
Using ODIN to flash it with CWD to go into recovery ( and do perhaps the necessary factory reset...) but no luck. After unplugging and putting the battery in, pressing volumeUP+power+home...NO recovery mode possible.
Then i tried to flash the stock rom to it for europe using ODIN. Flashing went ok, rebooting..but the Samsung logo stays "turning" and nothing happens even after 15 min...so i think this won't help either.
Is my phone bricked or is there a solution for it ?
Any HELP is welcome !
Thanks!

flashing a stock rom should have wiped all your data,
are you sure its a gt-s7500 and not "gt-s7500t" or "gt-s7500l" as that euro rom would only work on gt-s7500 no t or l at end
the rom will take a long time on first boot ..but 15 min is a bit long
can you see it in adb.. try "adb reboot recovery" hopefully you can get to do factory reset

nexus 5 stuck booting

I received my nexus 5 today. Unlocked the bootloader. Tried to install twrp. Gave up and decided to put it back to stock using multitool kit. Toolkit showed as every thing completed successfully but the phone doesn't get past the nexus boot screen. I can boot into the bootloader but that's it. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Same happened to me after unlocking the bootloader. Here's what you need to do.
Boot into the bootloader and enter recovery.
Press and hold power and quickly press volume up, that will open the menu.
Wipe data/factory reset.
The phone will reboot and you should be good to go.

Press and hold Power + Volume Up + Volume Down all at the same time. It will power down the device (it sometimes takes a while, so keep holding down the buttons for at least 10 seconds). Then Power + Volume Down to boot into recovery.

You have the stock recovery on your phone, not team win. You say you've done a factory reset in the recovery? Try that again first. If that doesn't work then flash the factory image.

You should explain how the problem happened. Was it by itself? Which Rom are you using?
You can flash a Rom or use this link they posted above http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...-to-flash-factory-image-t2513701/post47156064 to flash Factory images doing method 1. Report back.

Got Nexus 5, upgraded to 4.4.2, unlock bootloader, cant boot into recovery

Just got my nexus 5, upgraded it to 4.4.2, used this method http://www.androidrootz.com/2013/11/how-to-root-nexus-5-windowsmaclinuxubun.html
unlock bootloader, but when i tried to boot into recovery i get the image of the open robot with an X. Help please!!
That's the stock recovery. From that screen you hold the power button and hit volume up and you'll be brought to the actual recovery menu.

What @Skinpipe said is what you need to do.
But your issue with stock recovery, the vol up + power is correct, but you can't hold power or the device turns off. Just keep tapping them both until the menu comes up. It is a truly horrible design. Nice job, Google.

It's a timing thing. You press the power button and then press the vol up right away. It's wonky, but it works.

You need to flash a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP in order to flash super user.

Get into recovery without volume buttons

Hey everyone
my opo have the internal volume buttons broken. I flashed a custom ROM on it and I forgot to do a factory reset before I firstly boot up the phone with the new ROM. So it stuck on the boot animation.
can someone help me out please?
You have to open it if the power menu has no "Boot to recovery option".

There is only One way left then I think... Flash Official COS via fastboot, that should boot normally, then enable advanced power options and access recovery via ADB.

Problem Idol 3 5.5 6045 It does not turn on. Help me!

Good day I have a problem with my idol 3 5.5 a few days ago I turned off and it took a long time to turn it on again, I did a formatting and it continued the same, it only vibrates when trying to turn it on and if I connect it to the charger or to the pc it turns on the LED but there not passed . I have tried to install several roms but when I finish installing it I get the reboot, I reboot and the cell phone goes off again. It is rare that the cell phone enters recovery mode. It comes with factory recovery.
If someone knows a solution or a rom that works very well that is to install directly from the recovery would thank you.
Sorry for the English but I am Colombian and use the translator xD

yes, recovery alcatel xDDD
I only give you the power button and volume + and enter recovery mode I give you install I select the folder where the ROM is installed I reboot it and the cell phone stays frozen.
I do not know if it's the rom euphoria that does not work or if in the end the cell phone is no longer useful, or if you have to have another recovery.
