Hi I tried 2 different bt headsets
for my diamond but it can't see the devices!
I've got the nokia bh101 e a samsung wep301.
i tried the nokia and no way then i found this wep301 from a friend of mine and it has a reset button. i tried to reset but no matches with diamond...
the wierd thing is that i tried with my mac also and it can't see them too!!
Any idea about how to become visible devices?? I've got the bs14 radio
thanx in advance
solved by myself:
I have to put the bt headset in pairing mode just pressing the multifunctional button from off for about 10 secs to led static light and not blinked then search with your phone or mac or pc, after that you can pair it succesfully

Hi, can someone help ? I've tried a bluetooth headset Jabra 250 and also a Sony HBH-35 with a I-mate.
I can get them to bond and also identify as default headset but I can't transfer a incoming or outgoing call to the headset.
I've also done several soft resets and no improvement.
Any ideas ? do I need a new upgrade or something.
Other than this small problem, I'm very happy. I have also success with the Sandisk wifi SD card.
Thanks for any tips, Dave
how are you bonding the headsets?
on my hbh-60 I have to hold the button in for a few seconds
on first powerup to get it into discoverable mode(red/green LED flash)
Then search for it with the XDA/MDA/iMate
I have had no issues with bonding.
What version iMate are you running?

Hi,
I'm not sure what information about versions is needed to help resolve this problem but:
ROM version 1.03.00 USA
ROM date 09/24/03
Radio version 1.05.12
Protocol version 1337.12
ExtROM version 1.03.20
When these are not up-to-date where do I get the current ones from ?
Thanks, Dave
Have you turn on the bluetooth headset mode (one item on the default today screen, not the bottom right icon)
I have been using the Jabra bt200 for a while now. The problem is, everytime you turn bt200 off, you have to rebond again. It also works a bit differently. Once bonded, it automatically transfers to headset on dialout. For received calls, you still have to use the headset button. I am looking for another headset that won't require constant rebonding.
Hi, thanks again for the tips.
NOW the HBH headset works. I put the "profile" option back in the Today display and then checked everything again.
Then I tapped on the headset profile on the today screen - this turned it off. Then, I tapped again to turn it on.
Now the headset works fine !
I'll try again later with the Jabra.
Thanks - Dave
Thanks Much !!!
Just wanted to thank this forum and this thread. I just got a HBH-65 yesterday and could get it to bond ok, but it still wouldn't work. It turned out to be not having the "Profile" shown on my Today screen. I placed it back on the Today screen and enabled it and it works great now.
THANKS MUCH GUYS !!!
Hi guys....
have you got any info or experience with this "couple" devices ???
Yesterday I got the nokia bh-501 and I paired it with my cruise.
It worked fine the very first time I connect it and paired it with the cruise.
when I turned the nokia off and turn it back on, the little headset symbol that showed up the very first time, DOES NOT show up again and ofcourse sound does not get rerouted and it doesn work....
So I removed the pairing on my cruise and restarted it again.
Well also this time it worked, but if I turn both off and then on again, the cruise does not see the nokia anymore...
GRRRR
Please...do you have any idea what's going on ?
Please help
Rick
I got one yesterday and it works fine. Are you sure you pressed the multifunction button again after releasing it after turning it on the 2nd time? You have to press and hold to turn on, then press again once to connect.
Hi guys new to the forum and this world ... I wanted to present my problem for about a month I own a samsung mini galaxy the only problem is driving me crazy is that the bluetooth and I can not connect my bt headset (Nokia BH-102) ... I'll explain:
Just turn on the search bt do find it, I can make the association work for a while and then disconnects without reconnect because it is as if the bt went out when being turned on I tried everything I also updated the JPF but still nothing to me this joke ... Help me !!!!!
NB I tried with headset samsung and other mobile phone without results ...
A greetings to all
try a different headset to test if it the phone or not, like a plantronics or motorola (borrow a friend's) if it connects then it is a compatavility issue with your headset
the problem is that the Bluetooth works only for a short time and then stops working and as if by itself ... short turns off by itself

Did you put the bluetooth in pairing mode? Guessing you did but just making sure. That process is overlooked so many times.
Hi
I don't think this so..as the same Bluetooth works with another NOKIA set !

The Bluetooth device too pairs with another Nokio Mobile...But the Blutooth device is not even Detected by HTC Inspire
Does this input give any input to solve this issue?

Hi Pirateghost
I'm trying to Pair my 'Bluetooth Headset (Plantronics Explorer 210)' with the HTC Inspire ..This device is not even detected by HTC when I do the 'scan for devices' from the Phone...but,I see the Bluetooth symbol dispalyed onteh phone...
Also this Bluetooth Headset is properly 'pairing' with my another Nokia Phone...
Further my HTC also 'pairs' properly with my Laptop'...
But the HTC doesn't detect the 'Bluetooth Planatronics' Headset!
it's Plantronics Explorer 210 Bluetooth Headset
....But this headset pairs properly with my 'Old Nokia phone'..but refuses to pair with the new HTC Inspire
But,the HTC Inspire pairs properly with my 'Laptop computer'...I'm reallyconfused..what's wrong...Appreciate your thoughts on this
I asked you earlier if you put the bluetooth in pairing mode before trying to pair with it? Not the same thing as pairing your phone to a laptop or using it with a phone that it is already paired to. First time you turn on bluetooth it goes in auto pairing till it is paired with a device. After it is paired with a device you must do something special to get it paired again with a new device. Again I only bring this point back up because this sounds like the only reason your phone cannot see the bluetooth.
How to Pair Your Headset if it Has Been Previously Paired
With Another Device
1 Turn the headset off.
Press and hold the call control button until the indicator turns red
and then turns off.
2 Turn the headset on.
Press and hold the call control button until the indicator light
continues to flash red and blue. The headset is now in pairing mode.
3 Use the commands on your phone to locate your headset.
For most phones, select Settings/Tools > Connections > Bluetooth
> Search > 2XXPlantronics. See your phone’s user guide for more
information.
4 When prompted for the passkey, enter 0000.
Pairing is successful when the indicator on your headset flashes
blue. Your headset is now connected and ready to use.

Thanks Agoattamer ---I totally overlooked it--Perhaps did not have the old Planatronics manual----and after getting into 'pairing mode'--everything is perfect..

Hi Pirateghost
I think,I had been too 'stupid' to overlook this 'pairing step'....and now the HTC is able to connect---Thanks a lot for your time......
Appreciate your help too...for giving such a good 'ROM'

Hi everybody.
I've bought Nokia Carkit CK-100 for my car and my Nexus S (I-9020T)
Pairing and using was perfect before I updated my Nexus S > Android 2.3 (I did it last spring 2011) and higher.
After updating I've got an annoying problem:
While my carkit turns on, then I start my car, it automatically searching and connecting to my Nexus S. But Nexus connects almost each time in "speech" mode (carkit lights green) and my car audio system is being muted. After performing any call from my phone, then I press the END CALL button, carkit is become idle (carkit lights blue), and makes my audio sounds the music.
I've tried many different phones. All among of my Nexus S works perfect.
I've tried to use another one same Carkit CK-100 but the problem is persist with my Nexus.
I'd flash different RADIOs, tried to use many firmwares, rooted and unrooted, stock and customized. Tried to turn off the A2DP mode. Tried to update FW of my carkit to recent one. THE PROBLEM IS PERSIST, and it is VERY ANNOYING!
Please somebody tell me an advice how to solve this issue?
I love my Nexus very much and won't to dismantle the Carkit from my car.
