Hi, i'm italian and i've bought an qtek A9100 in brazil, now i I have to make an Italian ROM, i have used hard Spl for g4 and now my IPL is 2.21.0001 and my SPL is 2.21.olip then i have try to flash with a wm6 ROM whit ruu and rom update utility... in italian but compare this error during the flash: ERROR[300]: INVALID UPDATED TOOLS
What can i do to flash with an wm6 rom english too???

Hi,
I have upgraded my dopod rom using this file RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship.exe from the xda developers ftp.
After upgrading I found that the version number is incorrect
IPL 1.00
SPL 2.15.0000
I have tried reflashing with the same rom several time but the version number for IPL remains the same.
How can I upgrade the IPL correctly?
Where can I find the upgrade for IPL/SPL 2.15.0001?
I cannot flash my dopod 818 pro ROM...it said that I have wrong type of device :?: :?: :?: :?:
Did you guys CID unlock first?

The rom I flash last time for my O2 XDA neo was RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID. No CID unlocking is neccesary, and the procedure of flashing is as easy as installing a software.
You don't need .0001
AFAIK, the number depends of G3 or G4 mainborad hardware version. .0000 means that you have G3. Let it be, and don't touch if it works well.
I also have the same problem. My IPL seems 1.00 and I'm looking for the 2.15.0001.
I'm totally sure I have the device CID unlock, why? I can Install ROM from i-mate, Qtek and Dopod.
I tryed many days, many hours nad still working.

i updated my s200 with a crossbow rom and now its dead
the update was sucssfull but when i push the power button the screen fliker for les than one sec and that it
my s200 will not go even to bootloader

i have a G3 idont it was 2.20 i think
plz check again if its 2.20 or 2.21 and hope that its 2.20^^

mh you have g3 ... try the solution out that i mentioned before and try the cid unlock from pdamobiz.com... then reflash an older rom with spl/ipl.
edit:
the pdambiz can only be flashed when you are in align screen... if you have 2.21 take a wizard rom and go into align screen with active sync connection and flash the cid unlock rom.
if you have 2.20 then just try another prophet rom out and see if it works...

sorry that its in german but its the only one I have right now... you can also change the language with some programm which is available here in the board..spl and ipl is included and it should downgrade you pda to 2.09
its an original shipped rom, they are always for g3 and g4 right? it doesn't say anything about that, anyways i used it on my g4 and it worked so you might wanna check out before as you have a g3 device, but I'm pretty sure it works for g3 and g4
so i maneged to get my s200 into bootloader
i now i have IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.01 but my device is G3
so i tried to flash RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe
and its start and when it reached 95% igot an error that says
"ERROR 326 ivalid command, the nfb file cannot be used with your pda phone
and one got and idea what to do ????
just now i tried to flash "RUU_Prophet_2090732_20907115_020720_QtekGER_Ship.e xe" and it fail at the first time
so i tried again and it sucsess
and now my qtek work again

hi to all.its been quite a while that i have gone to search methods of upgrading prophet but since i a a newbie, i a overwhelmed with great post of doing this and doing that to upgrading..now i am a bit confuse on where to start.. i have downloaded much of the upgrading tools like awizard, shelltool, etc..but i do not know on how to begin...
i have a dopod 818, a G4.. with IPL & SPL 2.15.0001 GSM 02.17.0001 and OS 2.15.13.24....my problem is on how to change the language to english because it is in chinese.. i have tried backing up the ROMs through SDcard but it does go through..next thing i thought maybe its CID lock.because i have read that it will not backup if it is CID lock...correct me if i am wrong?
i have read also of shelltool of which you could upgrade your ROM without touching IPL and SPL stuff but if my dopod is cid lock, would it not be brick?
i am trying to do this hopefully by myself..but please help me on where to start..i just want my dopod in english..

High IPL/SPL Version wins! You cant downgrade!
Hi wg132,
You can downgrade if your device is a G3.
Check if your IPL/SPL end with x.xx.0000 (x.xx.0001 are G4)
Firstly, you need to CID unlock your device by flashing rom using
pdamobiz.com_downgrade_and_unlockcid rom.rar
(Please note that this rom is not usable and serve only to unlock CID)
You can then downgrade your SPL to 2.15 using
RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_S hip-NoVendorID.zip
I don't have the links to the above files. You need to search for them yourself. Hope this helps.

Why do you need to downgrade SPL 2.20? Is there any specific problem with that SPL? so far my SPL 2.20 is working well with WM6 and WM5. I wouldnt touch IPL and or upgrade SPL to 3.xx

no ... higher version number wins and the next ... spl 3.08 is charmer ... it means no prophet spl can flashed back!
can i flash it with another charmer?
uhm ... if you want brick/damage your device ... sure
this are a modded spl to run on prophet! highest prophet spl is version 2.58 and only for g4. nobody have uploaded in the moment!

I try it a few time, but everytime the same problem.
WM5 ist not starting.
Everything I can see is the bootloader.
IPL 1.05
SPL 2.21
Can somebody help me?

Custom build rom will not flash as your phone has IPL 1.xx,it must have IPL 2.xx and it shud be CID unlocked.Wm5 will not boot up as the original Bootloaders have changed,when you flashed Buttons rom to downgrade.
Now reflash Button's Rom 1.05 again in bootloaders and use lokiwiz02b to SIM/CID unlock the phone,after SIM/CID unlocking,upgrade to IPL/SPL 2.xx by flashing T-mobile 2.26,only after that it'll upgrade to any wm6 or 6.1 rom.But if you want to flash official vodaphone rom,download the official rom and flash it in Bootloaders.
