I was doing an Update to my i-mate Jam using ma_cdlsku2_arb_10300_141_10100_ship.exe but something in the middle of the upgrade went wrong, the computer rebooted.
When the computer booted up I tried to update again I turned the i-mate (Qtek S100) up it wont boot completly. I get the blue Imate screen and at the bottom right corner I see in red

and it stops there, I tried to run the MaUpgradeUt.exe and I got Error 120 Country ID ERROR, then I tried QtekS100_FRA_DT_10302_157_10100_For_MDA_T_Mobile.exe but nothing I get the same error.
I hard reset it and I get the USB written on the screen. I tried to run an upgrade but ma_cdlsku2_arb_10300_141_10100_ship.exe gives me error 101 connection problem and I tried QtekS100_FRA_DT_10302_157_10100_For_MDA_T_Mobile.exe and get the Error 120 Country ID error.
Please help what to do ?

Evrithig goes ok but after stage 1 I ve got DAWN screen
And my jam has not worked anymore ..

I have the same problem with my T Mobile MDA Compact. My Compact does not work anymore, too. When I try to turn it on, it does not. It turns on the Bootloader mode. On the screen; at the top it writes "Serial" and at the bottom it writes "v 1.00" and thats all, it does not turn on anymore.
It occurs when I tried to flash my German ROM to English ROM.
Once I solve the problem I will inform you. Please inform me if you solve the problem.

Hi Guys. I have absolutely the same problem see http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=19548 here. Try one thing. It´s not solution, but for me working as emergency solution. Try to pull a little bit back battery cover to disconnect battery for a second and then push it back. Try to push on/off button. Device should start. And never do a soft reset by soft reset button or by software reset button. Always use back side cover or the device start in bootloader meno again.I alread try almost everything to solve the problem and no way. Even my compact cant read backuped SD card. That´s why I have only this emergency solution
I don't have this problem myself, but I read on this forum somewhere that connecting your Compact to to USB cable and running the update program again should fix this error. The error bascially means that the ROM upgrade failed. re-connecting and re-running the upgrade program from your desktop pc should work. Good Luck and let us know whether it works. In several other threads the problem is mentioned and fixed, so do a search.

When you see that "serial" and "v1.00" thing. That's means you are half way there already. That's in boot loader mode. When you take off the back cover (battery cover) and put that back, yeap... it'll work. Somehow that bypass the bootloader mode for that particular "restart".
What you need to do is. Just reconnect back and do the flash again, since you would have rebooted your desktop pc or laptop (the one that used to flash your Magician).
For those who encountered similar problem, restart your machine (desktop pc or laptop). then reconnect back. Try run the update again. This time, it will not be able to detect your current ROM version cause of the "boot loader" thingy. Just flash it... yes, you'll get it. Give it a try. I've done on mine and so do many others. Have fun.

I had the same problem. My desktop computer shut off during the update and the second time it stoped in the same %.
I solved the problem switching computers to my laptop.

is better in each n every aspect that is m talkin about the (GUI),stability,features n etc..

ive just tried to put a new rom on my phone but it failed
wen itsplugged in it just says USB v.1.06 and when its unplugged it just says serial
ive tried hard reset , taking battery out and failed to make it work

hello, I have a problem with a ipaq h6320 which a friend gave to me but is not working. it freeze in the SO start, seems that this rom is corrupt and try to restore it already with the hp RUU and don't work, also try enter by MTTY and only shows me strange symbols and not the usual USB> promt.... help me please!!!!

well i got a new k-jam for myself and i was just upgrading to 6.1, by going to a wm5 noID rom and then CID-Unlock and then 6.1, well it didn't work, i got errs like 264,222 about connection and usb connection with ppc and pc,but they were just fine.
then i did this! i coid the update files to storage and i runned this "enter boat loader.exe" and so i got stuck in boat loader.but now every time i take out my battery and put it back again and turn on ppc,i got my windows allright,but i can't do a soft reset now,cuz it will stuck in boatloader again and another hard rewset again.
help me! i cant live like this! tnX.
