Problem after upgrading WM6

Hi all,
I have tried to install WM6 but got the really big problem. The installation success but my Dopod 818 pro can't start and hang on the black screen. Try to hard reset but show:
formatting to FAT,
format failed
Any expert can help me... or show me how to downgrade it back to normal...
i'm really new on this..

Did you unplugged your prophet after getting the "FINNISH" message from windows screen? Once i didn't do it,then it happened to me what you explain. Reflash again and this time unplug it before doing hard reset. If you are not able to get it going, try reflashing a wm5 rom from anyware around, then flash wm6 (you have to downgrade)
Search for instance lsvw 2.3 or jesterz rom in this forum

Orange SPV M600 (HTC Prophet) Stuck in Bootloader

Guys,
I wonder if you can help. I have trawled this and many other forums and found many people that are having problems with their HTC Prophet or variations of the same device.
I have the Orange SPV M600, it was in my pocket and when I took it out to turn it on, it was displaying the bootloader screen after seemingly soft resetting itself. It is displaying the tri-colour bootloader with the following IPL/SPL
- IPL 2.10.0001 - SPL 2.10.0001
I have tried the following things that I have found in the forums:
1. Taking the battery out for 10 minutes ~ Still the same.
2. Hard Reset ~ I get the "Press SEND button to factory restore" message
but nothing happens when I push the call button.
3. Reflashing the ROM ~ I am unable to do this. I only have Vista and
WMDC does not see the phone in bootloader mode.
Is the phone dead? If so how could this have happened?
If anyone could help I would be eternally greatful. Oh and to add another complication the phone is still CID Locked

well if you where is south africa i would of helped you im sure if you have it runing on xp it will work my jamin did the same and all i did was push the camera button and reseted it got into tri colour mode and reflashed it

did you ever get this sorted out ? Surely all you're gonna need is a PC with XP and active sync....
If I was closer you could have sent the phone to me and I would have had a go at reflashing the rom, but I'm at the other end of the country....

help stuck on the bootlader screen?
guyz i have a jamin.. my cousin was flashin it and flashed the wrong software.. if i reset the phone it shows the boat loader screen!! and i cnat do anythin..caz u tell me which slftware to flash..and how to do it?? My freind told me all solution to my problem's will be solved here

First of all, download the NVID (no vender) AKU2.2 from here. http://rapidshare.com/files/17208693/RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe
Then, open activesync, select connection settings and UNCHECK the connect through USB option.
Then run the NVID file. It will take a while, and may seem to get stuck at 80% or 95%. Just leave it alone.
When that's done, you can either use it as it is, or load anyother ROM you want.

First get a version of ActiveSync, any will do, but more recent is probably better. Then download the ROM (see above). In ActiveSync>Connection Settings uncheck the Connect through USB option. Then connect the Prophet.
Next Unzip the NVID file, and run RUU_PROPHET... This will flash your Prophet with a very basic ROM. If you then want to upgrade to a different ROM follow these steps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310452

Urgent help needed

Hi guys i have a problem in my o2 minis phone.
I had tried to upgrage my OS to WM6 PRO suddenly my PC rebooted at the time of upgrading. Now when i am trying to swith my phone on it directly flashes the tri color screen. How can i now connect my phone to my PC So i can Upgrade my phone.

Well, since it's already in Bootloader, just flash any WM5 rom on it, that should work

any, or wizard love, or chinese "last hope thingy" one..
then proceed with care...

Problem upgrading to wm6.1

Hi i just bought a i-mate jasjar, it's a g3 device (boot shows 1.01). i just flashed ranju's rom but it freezes on wm6 splashscreen and i dont know what to do, help me please i want a wm6-6.1 ROM!!! thank you so much...

I had the same thing recently caused by not unticking allow USB connection in activesync. I tried to do it 3 times before I realsed what the problem was. I had to use MITY to reset the unit then reflashed the ROM & it was OK.

THere are many posts like this.
Did u do your reading before flashing? Are you using Vista, if so get on a computor running XP, u cannot flash with vista.
Did you unplugg all ur usb devices and any other connection software? Try also other usb ports. I had to try 3 of my 4 before flashing worked for me.
Please read the wiki and search the forums tho, there are many good guides out there like this one attached (apols for zip file, i had saved the web page for use ages ago)
You also dont say what ur IPL/SPL numbers are so its difficult to help, you should list the steps when posting if you need help

Hi, I had similar problem even after repeated tries. What I did to get around it was:
1) Run the HardSPL (from Prophet tools or from RUU).
2) Check "I understand the caution..." and click next to get to 2nd screen (see attachment) on RUU where it gives you the 4 things to check before proceeding (here your Prophet must be entering the white screen).
3) Leave the RUU on the 2nd screen on the computer and disconnect Prophet after white screen gets stuck and activesync disconnects).
4) Reboot Prophet.
5) Reconnect Prophet and wait for activesync connection to be established.
6) Now on the computer check "I completed the steps indicated above" and click on next.
Hopefully this should go ahead and HardSPPL your Prophet.
Do let us know if this worked.

Hey,same problem here...but you probably got rid of the prophet already...well hope it helps someone else
thank God i had surfed to other sites and found this HARD SPL utility.
Its in "wm6 Update_Package" ...might as well be from here..
(dont know who made it-i`ve been downloading so much stuff lately from the web no offence )
