Been searching through posts but couldn't find anything relating to the following hence this topic...I been trying to flash wm6.1 to this device...i had dutty's rtm 4 installed, but decided to upgrade to 6.1, however when i follow the flashing procedure (copy JumpSPL1.56-KAIS.exe to device n run it) it either gets stuck, and gives me a 262 error code then i get the tri-colour boot screen and only flashing to RUU_Kaiser_HK_WWE_1.82.721.1_radio_sign_22.51.88.13_1.27.15.32R2_Ship.exe gets the phone working again...otherwise im stuck with a tri-colour screen...when i do get stuck...i get the following on the tri-colour screen kais130

Why would you jump_spl, Unless it was to solve the Hardspl issue?
Hard_Spl is the semi-permanent spl you need for flashing roms.

Hi guys,
anyone that can give me full step by step solution will be my personal god and i'll donate.
I tried flashing hard SPSL and its gone wrong.
I have a T-Mobile Vario III ( bought 8/02/08 )
I get up to the tricolour screen - with white at the bottom and this is what it says.
top left corner: RUUNBH
Right: KAIS130
SPL-1.56.0000
CPLD-8
At the bottom on the white it says 'serial' when the USB is plugged in it says USB.
Ive tried alot of things ive read now im stuck here.

so u're up to the tricolor screen......unplug and replug the cable, then hit enter

I you don't get it done PM me & I'll walk you through Harspl thru Jumpspl.
Although with Display Driver 1.56, you shouldn't have any issues.

If HardSPL is not installed but you can get to the boot screen then flash your original rom back! You can find a list of available original roms in the wiki, just make sure that you take the same operator (HTC, t-mobile,...) & the same language.
After flashing it back you should be able to use your phone again, then install HardSPL and flash any custom rom if you want.

After CustomRUU program, now when i turn on my device i see tree color screen with

and if USB is connected it shows

I tryed almost every solution in this forum, and nothing.
When customRUU says that this process will take 10 minutes I see 0% and nothing else. then communication error on program.
official Update(RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_3.28.405.0_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.17.56_Ship) says Inavlid Vender ID.
Please help me to solve this. and get back my TyTN.

I had to hard reset my palm, as it was stuck at windows screen. It had WM6.
Now it does not go beyond bootloader screen.
Tried, the following
1. Palm recovery tool, connection gets lost
2. Tried ROM flashing with the WM6 ROM (CHEEIMG.nbh) with 2GB Mini SD card with FAT 32 formatting, does not progress, it gets stuck no progress even after one hour.
Not sure what to do next, any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks hammod2k, I have tried all the suggestions on the thread. Still when flashing the original rom, it does not go beyond Bootloader -ok hans at GSM, left overnight for flashing, still not working.

Tried to flash Hard SPL, bit it is not successful, I am getting an error "Image file is corrupted".

I exactly have the same problem bro..it hangs up on gsm...i tried removing my card and hard resetting it but it just brings me to a tricolored screen red green and blue with the word serial at the bottom...tried soft reset but still the same thing..hope someone could help us on this

Sorry to bother but i have a few questions...i have a 750 treo and none of the support on this website is helping...i am trying to flash my palm 750 but its says the file is corrupted..what do i do about that? Progress only reaches 7% ive used cheetah and kaiser unlockers and i was also wondering if it can be flashed just using the computer and usb in booter mode since it wont go past the palm splash screen...i can access my treo using mtty but doing task 2a doesnt do anything either... I think that maybe my phone is screwed up. I appreciate any help you can offer.
I have almost the same problem with my Palm 750 that I believe locked to Rogers.
1. It hangs on GSM if I use SD card ROM file CHEEIMG.nbh . I have tried many different CHEEIMG.nbh files (ATT, Cingular, ROW…)
2. Running CheetahUnlocker will crush at 7%, and my Palm 750 will reboot and freeze at MS Mobile screen.
I have the same problem, and I think we have to change the IPL and after run cheatunlock.
How can we do it?

please I try to find sometnig but nothing work for me.
Please my issue is that USB not working and I can´t flash by SDcard.
first my device info in boot loader:
KAIS130
SPL-1.82.0000
CPLD-8
and USB is not charging and working, I can´t connect it to PC, nothing do it, when I connect, no "tada sound" nothing, on boot loader show "Serial"
and it charge only when is PDA power off, than normaly charge but light only red LED.
And second when I try to flash with really many ROMS and types of HardSPL and Radio, or NBH from originally shipped roms it only show "Loading" and than stuck.
Please I dont know what is it, it is really strange.
I cant sent it to warranty because is second hand phone.

Flash back your OEM HTC kaiser ROM. After you get it your phone working again, and if you want to dive into the flashing world, then you must read all about flashing new ROMs. But as a hint, start by knowing you must unlock your Device CID before the device will accept SPL or cooked ROM flashes. Read about this subject as well.
I can´t flash by HardSPL by USb or SD.
That kaiser unlock not working for me, and when I use SDA_ApplicationUnlock it show me that phone is "unlockable" and Kaiser unlock stuck only at 0% when try flash HardSPL and unlocked radio is same problem stuck at 0% I try that dont touch phone and only replug cable and start hardspl or radio again and than show me dont recognize USB.
I really dont know how I can unlock it.
You really need to find your way to the HardSPL thread and ask your questions there.

I have problem with my 818pro. I upgraded to WM6.1 few months ago successfully with Prophet ROM 19974 M2D. Few days ago suddenly I cant hear anything from phone, but worked well with headset. I read some posts here and try to reinstall the same software which I used few months ago to upgrade from WM5 to WM6.1(with HardSPL G4). The Installation was successful, but when it was restarted, I can only see 3 color screen and USB is written on screen also can see (IPL 2.15.0001 and SPL 2.15.0001). I tried same software few times, but the result is same. The good thing is, I am still able to connect to my PC with USB.
Now I am not able to start my PDA. Every time I restart, It will show same 3 colored screen. and If i connect to USB, it will show on screen USB.
Can Please Please someone help me how can I Install and make it working. Please give me the links as well if possible.

The SPL Information , if already HARDSPL should be SPL 2.G4.4PDA. Cos you have G4 Device.

Try to reflash with PDAVIET NoVendor
But you need to go to Bootloader Mode first ( manually). Read how to do it.
Make sure battery enough.
And flash with the ROM above.
And do the HARDSPL again.

The SPL Information , if already HARDSPL should be SPL 2.G4.4PDA. Cos you have G4 Device.
Information for you : Installation, even not HARDSPL could be succesfull. But you will always stuck in Bootloader mode, like you have now.
So Reflash it first like I said and HARDSPL again.
