I have problem with my 818pro. I upgraded to WM6.1 few months ago successfully with Prophet ROM 19974 M2D. Few days ago suddenly I cant hear anything from phone, but worked well with headset. I read some posts here and try to reinstall the same software which I used few months ago to upgrade from WM5 to WM6.1(with HardSPL G4). The Installation was successful, but when it was restarted, I can only see 3 color screen and USB is written on screen also can see (IPL 2.15.0001 and SPL 2.15.0001). I tried same software few times, but the result is same. The good thing is, I am still able to connect to my PC with USB.
Now I am not able to start my PDA. Every time I restart, It will show same 3 colored screen. and If i connect to USB, it will show on screen USB.
Can Please Please someone help me how can I Install and make it working. Please give me the links as well if possible.

SPL is not HARDSPL already.
The SPL Information , if already HARDSPL should be SPL 2.G4.4PDA. Cos you have G4 Device.

Try to reflash with PDAVIET NoVendor
But you need to go to Bootloader Mode first ( manually). Read how to do it.
Make sure battery enough.
And flash with the ROM above.
And do the HARDSPL again.

The SPL Information , if already HARDSPL should be SPL 2.G4.4PDA. Cos you have G4 Device.
Information for you : Installation, even not HARDSPL could be succesfull. But you will always stuck in Bootloader mode, like you have now.
So Reflash it first like I said and HARDSPL again.
Until SPL information like this SPL 2.G4.4PDA. Cos you have G4 Device.

Hi,
I try to change ROM from PDAMobiz Prophet WM6 V1.00 to Fantastic Mobiz XBow v1.1i. I made exactly what I was suppose to do. But after few minute i've got the error 300 "INVALID UPDATE TOOL". So I reset my S200, then it's stay on the blue page QTEK until I reset it. I try to upgrade again, but when i'm in the Bootloader mode, i connect the PDA, the letter USB appear on the PDA screen, but i've got the message "No device Connected, Would you like to try copying again", even if i still try few minutes later, it's stil say no device connected.
I don't know what can i do anymore.

What S200 you have? G3 or G4? What IPL/SPL Version?
Have you tested to use Step 2? Step 2 use a other Firmware Writer ...
G3
IPL: 2.10.0001
SPL: 2.20.0001
i don't know any other Firmware Writer. Can you tell me one please and where i can find it

ahm ... IPL/SPL with 0001 is a G4 ... have you write the G3 Firmware? if yes ... you have brick your phone!

Do you have your dockingstation? Load your Batterie! Then try to enter the bootloader Mode! If you have black screen again ... send it back to you mobile provider and hope they exchange it.

can you bring your device into bootloader screen?
from a first view it doesn't seem you bricked it (usually ipl and spl differ then (one is 0000 and one is 0001).
And as you still get an USB Icon i assume it is not broken (but i can't say that for sure).
Just try entering bootloader mode an then flash again (with a g4 firmware!) - see wiki for how to enter BL mode
my dopod 818 pro when i turn phone on , it will blink like lcd goes wrong , when i go into bootloader mode , its only show IPL 3.08 AND SPL 3.08 , what should i do now . please help !
what was the last think you have do?

1. Download the NVID(no vendor) AKU2.2 rom for WM5 here :http://rapidshare.com/files/17208693...24721_NVID.exe
2. Get in to the bootloder mode
3. connect your USB
4. execute the AKU2.2 rom
Then you should be back on track!

for how long do you wait ?! it's normal to be stuck on 95% for awhile, just don't touch your phone, it will continue !
wait till the end and it show error
calm down, be patient
just do the step philchen1979 posted. do it every step very carefully do not miss any step. you should get it back on. if you already done it, then do it again carefully. use the rom philchen direct you, that's the best rom to flush an almost dead prophet.

I think I have always followed the steps right, but still no succes in booting into WM6. After the hardreset it always stops on the splash screen showing the versions.
I have tried all the versions found here at xda-developers.
It is strange but when I try the ASERG 3.3.13 ROM everything is OK. I am able to boot correctly.
What could be wrong? Is it something with the SPL?
Is there a possibility to debug the boot process?
I have following versions:
IPL 2.09
SPL 2.20.0000
GSM 2.47.21
The device is CID unlocked.

Try this:
When doing flashes, usb connect using Active Sync v.4.5, connect as "guest" to sync. Windows XP only. Reboot computer once before starting.
First, very important, flash to the last official wm5 vendor rom of choice. The last I-mate, HTC/QTEK rom is fine. If you're CID unlocked & SIM unlocked, you can use any rom.
For upgrade step 1, download & use this temp rom (PDAviet Temp) to get to first:

Remember, use no other NVID rom out there for this step 1.

This time with device of another my friend, also CID ulnlocked and with the same versions of IPL and SPL.
I am using WinXPSP2 ActiveSync 4.5.0
I did it in following order.
1. update RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe - succesfull
2. tab to see the align screen
3. update Prophet_PDAViet_Step1 - succesfull
4. tab to see the align screen
5. write Prophet_WM6_17913_TrueNeytral_1_4MS - succesfull
6. hardreset
7. stuck on the second splash screen again
So I have tried to write the AKU3.3.13.ASERG-us on this device too and yes it booted succesfully.
I think I have tried all possible combinations and ROMS already, but no luck with WM6.
Any idea?

on the second splash screen WAIT 1-2 maybe 3 minutes....
mine is a G4 device IPL 2.09 SPL 2.09.0000
i flashed several times my prophet with diferent wm6 roms but i allways downgrade to wm5, cause some issues i didn't like,
this morning i tried to upgrade to wm6 again, made the procedure
1 Hard reset
2 connect to pc and wait to activesync to come up
3 run upgrade utility and wm5 flash started
after a while the upgrading process stucked at 5% and gave an error, i don't remeber whitch it was,
but since then my prophet always turns on in bootloader mode, you can do nothing, even turn it off, the only way to turn it off is removing the battery,
when you put the battery again and press power on it starts in bootloader mode
the diference that i notice it's that now the bootloader shows
IPL 2.09 and SPL 2.09 not anymore SPL 2.09.0000
so i tried again to flash the prophet but it always give me this errors
300 when i used the wm5 spanish rom
and 274 conection problem when i use the temp pdaviet rom or the fantastic mobiz rom
when i plug the prophet to the pc the bootloader displayes USB but activesync never starts
what could be my problem i used the correct G4 roms
please somebody help me

now .... charging your phone ... and then turn on your PDA , at the bootloader screen (red,blue,green ... ) , connect you phone with PC .... you will see the USB at the bottom of the screen ... then .... install with the original ROM ...

I have a Imate Jamin, Well i never upgraded it so i tried to upgrade to Gullum WM6 touch, I tried to upgrade through this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=323013
But i had battery error battery was below 50%, so i upgraded it through Shell tool, i didn't knew its camera button is not working, after flashing complete i couldn't hard reset device so i have to flash to through RUU again, After this IPL and SPL both were 1.XX, OS 2.20.XX. but after it was complete it is stuck on imate splash screen, Then i flashed it with official RUU after which my Ipl, SPL and Rom where back to 1.XX but no results, and then someone here suggested to Flash with PROPHET NVID RUU i also did that now my splash screen is Qtek Ipl 1.00 Spl 2.20.00 Gsm 02.47.21, OS 2.20.7.34 but still it is stuck on slash screen, in all case USb is been detected and i m able to load bootloader through Holding Power off and Communition Mana Buttons. Please help me and reply what should i do now. I think my Phone is Bricked and dead.
