Do any of these 6.1 Roms have better video performance? camera performance? IE scrolling etc.
I've read a supposed 5 percent increase in performance.

I believe Alex's posted a cab in his wiki that helps improve performance. I would check there for it.

That cab won't do anything. The 5% increase should be due to the changes to QTV.DLL, which was put into Panosha's 6.0 ROM and I wasn't sure where to get it until now... It's already in WM6.1

Ya, that Alex cab is the same ati dll that's been going around and proven to do absolutely nothing. Especially if you just delete it and also not bother building it into the rom since it's never used.

1st TEST:
This is the result about the speed between 4 ROMs: Helmi_C (Clean+Bigstorage), Sleuth V1.1, XDA-Live 1.1 and Dutty SupaLite Beta. All have been installed the same programs.
The benchmark has been done by SKTools with 3 Kaiser devices! I took the average benchmark.
For your information!
2nd TEST:
As promised, I have just tested 4 ROMs with Spb Benchmark. The result is very clear and detail (pic 2, 3, 4, 5). All ROMs have not been installed with any soft except Spb Benchmark and SOTI Pocket Controller.
3th TEST:
Pic 6 is the result of CUSTEL v1.0!
wow, thanks for the work! That's good stuff to know.
I'd have thought that Dutty's was the fastest, but doesnt look to be so. With those numbers I'd say you'll never "see" a difference though.
Nice job man. There a a ton of people always asking that question. This should be a sticky.
Later, Lew
Could you elaborate a bit on the meaning of the numbers
SPB Benchmark would give you a more in depth comparison.

The numbers are within the statistic difference and I don't believe it is perceivable in real life operation. In other words, they are all about the same. But each ROM comes with different features. I hope the stability of each ROM are about the same. Stability is the most important factor. I have had machine hung on me during the most critical moment.

Agreed that those numbers could not show the real performance of each ROM. But I do not think that the stability is the same in those ROMs.
As per CUSTEL' suggestion, I am testing those ROMs with Spb Benchmark. The result seems to be different that the one from SKTools! We all can see the result tonight!

It was very difficult to say. I strolled around a phone store and saw a TyTN II and started playing with it. Wow, it was very fast and I was impressed. It was flashed with a CHS ROM. I offer to pay them to sell me a copy of the ROM. However, the machine hang a couple of times during my playing with it. Well that is without tons of other stuff installed and I really didn't think its stability is there yet. So much for my excitement, but it does show the machine can be fast if someone know what to tweak.
Thanks for this thread I realise I messed up somewhere in my performance tweaks.
Can someone do another tests on my Touchflo final Rom 2 which is uploading now and also my SupaLite beta 2 which I'm uploading a fixed version soon. I found out my Rom should be faster thank you guys for putting this tests out, enabling me to found out that I did something wrong in my performance tweaks and now the toucFlo Final rom which is uploading is much faster now even with more Program memory
i have try all roms for kaizer and i agree that helmi_c's roms are still the faster and better roms till now
i use the helmi_c clean rom and is far away the best!!
another very good rom is sleuth's 1.1!this rom is too very fast and stable and with all htc official stuff in
both,helmi_c and sleuth, are a step infront all the others at this moment

I think SPEED is second to Stability.... I think a fair test should also have ROM stability measures. i.e. crashes, connectivity, call drops, program load, display and presentation, programs, battery Life, and reception.

i agree with you my friend.the most wanted in cooking is both, stability and speed!! but those 2 are oposite to battery life
The best rom that worked for me is Rom Version 1.57.502.2 ,Pr version 22.45.88.07H i got it from one of these form, its very stable, very fast and it was cooked. so try finding this one and get it for tilt, its just remove all the junk leave you with lots of free space and you upload the sotware you want, bye. oh radio version 1.27.12.11
The 'famous' ROMs (Helmi_C Bigstorage, Dutty SupaLite Beta 1, Sleuth 1.1, XDA-Live 1.1) have been re-tested with Spb Benchmark.

Elfin, friends! Elfin!
Wait a bit, soon will be, and much more!
works on my Elfin, noticable increase in signal strength, will post on battery life soon as i do some tests
Onyx 3.1.2, Elfin 128/256
So, works fine on my Elf - connecting to GPRS a little bit faster (as I think )
Check for power life too during the day...
I will Try it soon.
Regards.
I think i will wait a bit before trying this out - hoping for a bit more feedback
Definitely better reception - used to only get 1 bar at my work desk with 3.21.90, now getting 3 bars with this new radio.
Will test battery life and clarity tonight.
its....... somehow a little bit better than 3.21.90
but i need more time to test
Thanks Vadyarik, looking forward to the more news you promised us!
thx. a lot, I'll test it today.
thanks dude testing now..
After about 2 hours of constant back light on, lowest setting, my stock battery dropped about 20%. Believe it or not, this is better battery than before! With back light off on 3.20, in 2 hours I would drain 20%.
Very strongly recommend you flash this one guys, better signal, better battery, call clarity is about the same, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad
Hi,
installed on my elf, so far, sounds good for me, I'll post a feedback by the end of today.
Thanks.
Can someone provide a mirror link for this? Can't download from Rapidshare...
Thanks

Donut roms:
BlueMagic (27,7 fps with neocore benchmark - sound off, 24,3FPS with sound)
SuperCSDI probably about the same (BlueMagic is based on that)
FastTest gaming edition
SuperD without ramhack is slooow in comparison to those.
not shure about wgarner's kernel.
The very best would be vodafone magic 32b... but its cupcake.

JIT makes the apps open and operate something like 3x faster (I think) but is still very buggy and can cause some FC errors from what I have read and is far from stable as of yet.
But if your games are still not playing properly on the suggested roms then a possible solution but be prepared for a few hiccups.

Super D 1.9.3 Non Ram Hack Ver. is definitely the one to get if you're into gaming.
Im running it now even though I have no major android games running but notice the emulators (nes,gb,gba) run more smoother and less lag.
Take chances and install that Rom and you will be set.

Not true.
If anything, it makes Java parts faster. But 3D-games are mostly C anyway.
Plus JIT uses up more RAM what is desperately needed on our phones...
So no increase here. rather the other way round imho...

Setcpu or overclock widget from this board/from market.
I've got 28.3 fps with airplanemode without sound on blue magic.
But i doubt that those are realistic gaming speeds. firstly there is no input. Input needs to be handeled what costs speed. Plus its a heavily optimized demo by qualcomm. I mean come on... they want to prove that their chips are worth buying... no game designer has enough time to get it running as fast as this one minute demo...

Sorry if I didn't give the correct credits I just wanted to share this for those looking to get some extra SOT or performance out if their device.
I am running on NSS 5.5 & Werewolf 2.0. I have mostly been using the AKT battery profiles (all profile info and instructions in the link) which have been increasing my SOT from 4 hours stock to 6 hours. I recommend trying some different profiles to see which you find the best for you.
Thanks for the share. It is working well with the weta kernel.

I ran with the script, the flashable and ran the commands through terminal. I love a good command run ?
If you read it through, it's a lot of amazing knowledge. Basically download the app, select a profile. You might have to select it for the OnePlus 3 which has the 820 Snapdragon, same thing Elsa has.
If you do the terminal script way, use the flashable, download termux or your favorite terminal apk, run SU
then;
AKT
Select the OnePlus 3 Snapdragon 820 option and choose a profile.
Following that, profit.
Where ghostpepper is a good performance with decent battery i get about 6 hours SOT
Now project x a n a balanced is another story, it might not be as snappy as ghostpepper (for my use its not so much difference tbh)
But the battery is impressive of this one: i'm getting about 7.5 - 8.5 hours SOT which is insane
I tested this with same settings and same normal usage: facebook, tinder, whatsapp, some calls and sms, surfing, bit camera and played 30 min games
Brightness slider 1/3 rd
I can't figure this thing out
Anyway to start the script at the start instead of waiting the 5 seconds or so to apply?
