My password keeps going blank. - General Topics

I have an ex-Orange M1000. I want to use its cell phone to connect to my ISP so I can send & receive e-mail. I make all the entries, including the password, in the settings. When I try to connect, I get the message "Wrong username or password". When I go back to Settings, the Password cell is blank! What am I doing wrong?!? Thanks.

manual email setup

Hi..I have a Blackstone with an email problem Is there a way to turn off outlooks "auto" settings? Im trying to get yahoo mail working (the payed for verison) with pop3. However when I setup the account in outlook it automatically detects yahoo settings for the free version and Im unable to change from IMAP4 to POP...someone suggested manual setup but I cant figure it out. Ive also tried making an account like @yaahhoo.com then going back and changing but it will not allow the original email to be changed. Any help appreciated.
THANKS!!
on the second page of "setup E-Mail" should be the field "try to get e-mail settings automatically from the internet"
try to unmark this and now you can add your settings manually....

HTC mogul email setup

Recently upgraded to WM 6.1 on HTC Mogul (sprint). Setting up my email accounts. Entered correct username/password. Checked the save password box. Every time it tries to retrieve my email, it shows that screen again with username/password fields populated, but now the save password box is unchecked. Doesn't do anything when I check the box. Keep getting the same error.
So basically it is not saving my password.

Is there a wrong code - gps data send app?

I don't know if I'm doing this right..What I would want to know is if there is a app for winmo 6.5 that asks for a password every time you start the phone (even without sim) and if you enter a wrong password, it send the gps data to a pre-setted email adress. I think I saw it once.

LIVE issues?

I cannot seem to get LIVE email to function properly. I can get email in, but cannot send email out. When I set up, I can do incoming settings, but when I get to outgoing settings it says "cannot connect to the mail server to verify your account information".
Anyone help?

Email

When I setup my email with the email icon as well as with the gmail app, everything synced up nicely, but i have not been able to send or receive emails. Says "sending" and nothing happens and new emails do not come in. Also it seems to say unable to connect to server a lot in the email icon. Although i have almost a full wi-fi connection. Ideas? Thanks.

For the email icon, since i had already set it up, i went in and hit the menu button and wen to "more" I saw the income mail field and changed it from imap.gmail.com to m.google.com and then when i hit next it still says unable to connect to server. I have a wifi connection so not sure whats up with this... also having trouble with the gmail icon which i also synced and setup, but after it synced, i cant send or receive new emails. Ideas?
All it needed was to be restarted
