Just switched from Xiaomi Mi10T Pro , and after 5 years in MIUI in total, im missing a a few things,
One is the wifi passwords, which I cannot find way to export/sync without root.
The second is the network speed in status bar.
If anyone can help with either, i would be grateful !

Hi everybody. One issue came up on my Huawei Ascend Mate 7 model MT7-L09 : just switched off manually mobile data in order to update from EMUI 3 to EMUI 4 and android 6 using wi-fi connection (saving cost of mobile data internet big load data transfer for that update) . The unpleasant surprise appeared after all the update and optimization finished, when I realized that mobile data cannot be activated anymore although I switched ON manually mobile data again from the settings menu. So in a few words: the mobile data icon looks switched ON but no "H" symbol for mobile data displayed and of course no Internet (
If anybody can give me a solving hint would very appreciate it.
Best regards.

Hei... problem solved - apn setting
10x everybody
Awesome. I know how frustrating it must have been.
Hi, quick (strange) question. How can I disable the wifi on my son's OnePlus One so that he cannot connect to wifi networks even if he tries?
I have disabled cellular data through T-Mobile but he can still connect to the schools wifi and he gets distracted during classes as a result....
One is currently running stock cyanogen OS build MHC19Q but will root again if needed.
Can I just remove a system app for wifi with titanium backup to meet my goal?? Then reinstall it later as needed?
Thanks in advance for any help, apologies for noobish question....

I believe u can restrict the wifi on the mobile which u dont want to use. Try for the option in wifi settings
Installing a very early version of a kernel (if available) might be an option.
How cruel!
Maybe you just need to restrict the use of the phone. If your son works out how to use TWRP then re-enabling WiFi will not be a problem.
Why not get a cheap dumbphone that can only do calls and texts?
On CM13 at least you can lock apps so that you need to enter a password to open it, don't know if oxygenOS has a similar feature. There's plenty of apps on the play store with the same feature. You could just password lock all the apps that are distracting him during class
This might be something useful:

Smart AppLock 2 is one of the most widely used App locker for Android. Justifying its name, the Smart AppLock does the work of protecting your apps very smartly.
It can easily lock apps containing privacy content, such as your photos, videos(Gallery), SMS, call logs etc. Also, it can be used to lock incoming calls, Wifi and Bluetooth toggle switch and much more. Users can also lock system settings, installing and uninstall of apps to keep phone away from being messed up by others or kids.

Hi,
Dad, I've lost faith in you.
Regards
Son
Hello guys. I come here today to ask for your help.
So I got my OP6 on T-mobile. I have the 55 plus plan that allows for unlimited tethering but only at 3g speeds, about 70Kbps in my location.
When I use my torrent app (ztorrent, flud, utorrent) in all of them I can only get a maximum speed at arrount the 70Kbps, so I went to my T-mobile account and I can see that they have calculated about 10GB of data for tethering. Since I have not use the hotspot at all I can infer that the torrents are been routed true the hotspot port.
No I did my research before posting this and found this old thread
forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-g5/help/phone-eating-hotspot-t3414627
but I don't think it shows a solution, or at least I was not able to find one.
I have also try, wiping the phone, resets, change rom from 5.1.11, to the official Pie Beta to Havoc and it does the same in all of them. I also put my sim in my old htc 10 to test and torrents work at full speed there.
Thaks in advance for any help.
So the download app on MIUI used to allow the user to download large files over mobile data by changing the app settings to allow for unlimited mobile downloads. But now that setting seems to be gone and there is no way to download large files without a connection the phone recognizes as wifi. In my case it really is bad because I use an Android phone paired with a network extended for wifi at home and the Mi Mix 2S seems to think this is not wifi (I think it's maybe seeing the 192.268.43.xxx IP address or something). Anybody know how to fix this? It's really a maddening "feature." Old versions of MIUI allowed these downloads with some tweaking but MIUI 10 seems not to at all.
I have a rooted OnePlus 9, running Oxygen0S 13, Build Number LE2115_11_F.17 and I'm being stalked by the Wifi calling quick settings tile.
It keeps popping up as the first tile in quick settings. I keep removing it, and it keeps returning. On OxygenOS12 it would do that only on reboot, so I lived with it, but this is getting ridiculous. Is there a way to completely remove this tile? Or prevent this behavior?
As I said, I'm rooted, so I'm open to all suggestions and solutions.
Thanks.
Yes! This is driving me nuts. I don't use WiFi calling but everything I go back it is there. Its worse now as they have the two big tiles I use for WiFi and bluetooth on and off and WiFi calling is always there!
Trueee! this is annoying! Everytime you restart the phone, appears there. Or after 24H. No matter if you remove it, still appears automatically. I don't want it. Waste of space.
same issue here 10 pro oxygen os 13. I have to remove it after each reboot
Same issue here with Oppo find x3 Neo, was doing it with android 12 and still do it with 13, each reboot it appears and take a huge space since it's now a rectangle, also it messes up all the layout it's annoying. Is there any way of suppressing a quick tiles permanently ?
Same issue on OnePlus 8T, Oxygen OS Android 13, Dec 2022 security update
This is caused by some mobile operators somehow forcing the option to show if their sim card is installed. The only solution I've found is disabling the sim. I'm lucky the problematic sim wasn't the one I use for mobile data.
Devs out there: Isn't there a way to solve this issue, maybe using xposed?
