What’s the difference?
More context and detail is needed. What firmware are you asking about, for what device?
Samsung combination firmware? What’s the difference between combonation firmware and standard?

I have been wondering if I can use any of the U firmware on the R4.
Actually, this is just a question per se since I did the upgrade to Nougat yesterday and the U version doesn't have Nougat, I just want to know if this is possible. FYI my phone is GSM Unlocked, is not yet rooted due to me being lazy, but I know that doesn't matter since it's an Odin task.
Edit: I have made further investigation and the G930R4 uses the Product Code (USC) which is available to download for the G930U too, now I should wait for a real confirmation of this.
Answering my own question and for others to know.
You can flash any USA firmware on any USA variant.
Anyone have a combination file for S7 G930R4 Android 8?
Hi, i haven't noticed a thread, made specifically for discussion difference from firmware's, and user experience about them, there is official odin stock rom, but this is mostly only for updates/info and guide.
What is the current best rom/firmware for the unlocked S8 exynos model?
Hello Friends
I am having SM-G930F and SM-G930S. I would like know how the band support is provided in the Samsung S7 variants?
Is it dependent on the Hardware or software? If it's hardware which part of the hardware, is it the processor (as both above uses same exynos chip) or modem chip? I did tried to check the schematic for SM-G930F but didn't find anything interesting. In case if it's software, then is it the kernel or any configuration file?
The reason is with the stock firmware on SM-G930S, 3G-900 mhz is not supported. I want to fix it.
Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
Cheers,
Ankur

Hello,
I have been searching the internet for the past 2 days to find a clear answer for this.
I have received Samsung S22 Ultra SM-S908N which stands for Korea version and when accessing through Sammobile I get stock firmware only for Korea.
My friend has the Samsung S22 Ultra SM-S908E which on Sammobile stands for Asia/Africa and he can install many countries firmware.
The question is, if both hardware are exactly the same in terms of chipset aka. Snapdragon
Is it possible to Install the SM-S908E on a SM-S908N? Did someone try this already - I am assuming the phone is still new and not much of discussion about this but probably someone did this for previous models?
In case I install firmware for the international version and didn't work, boot issue, or completely not switching on.. is it possible to revert back?
Regards,
The

- 1st : you can't install the International FW into the Korean devices variants. Even both at the same chipset.
- 2nd: it's possible to revert back. You must to flash the correct FW ( Korean FW variant ) via Odin on DownloadMod.
I may be wrong but Korean version has 5G mmWave. International version doesn't have

Have you had any luck with changing the firmware? I want to install a European one to my s908N but there seems to be no info on the internets...
Can i ask why you want a different firmware?
To be honest, i dont understand what the difference is between regions... i have a s908e with australian region that I use in US, theres no US region for my phone
Is it possible to Flash a US PDA S10e with a specific Canadian carrier PDA firmware to use in Canada?
To be specific I was considering purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S10e (PDA G970UZBAXAA) and then flashing it with a Canadian PDA firmware such as G970WVLU6IVD3.
-->I mean in theory ODIN should just flash the firmware updates and work since these phones should be identical hardware with the only difference being the firmwares. And once the firmwares are all changed to the Canadian versions then the phone will work on the Canadian network that firmware was designed for correct?
(Not sure I can include links but here is one of the examples for firmwares I was considering https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s10e/firmware/SM-G970W/XAC/download/G970WVLU6IVD3/1649439/ )
