Question Immediately relocks after unlocking - Google Pixel 6a

Anyone else having this issue? More often than not, I have to unlock my phone twice. Both via pin and/or fingerprint.
Doesn't happen every time, but does happen a lot. Sometimes on the second unlocking it's pretty slow to show the lockscreen, from the always on display.

Random reboots mostly after unlocking, am I the only one getting them?

Sometimes I unlock my phone and the screen remains black, then the phone reboots but weirdly it doesn't ask for the SIM pin number. Other times I notice the phone reboots by itself and I notice it because obviously the screen lights up during the boot animation. This happens very rarely, so far it has happened about 3 to 5 times in a couple of months but it's still mega annoying when it happens.
Does it happen only to me? Is there any way to troubleshoot this issue?

If you provide some logs then maybe someone can see what is happening....
Or even basic information, like the configuration and setup of your device.
Right, forgot my configuration. I have an unbranded Z3 on latest Lollipop (but I recall I had a reboot also on Kitkat), no root, no weird apps like task killers or antivirus or anything like that. Sometimes it just does a reboot by itself, but doesn't ask for pin number so it's not a full reboot.
How do I provide logs again?

Factory Reset can solve ur problem /based on personal experience
I did that already less than two months ago and I refuse to believe I have to factory reset this thing every month to get stable operation. Also I'm not even rooted and I haven't messed with the system itself so why would I need to factory reset? Factory reset implies that there is something that has changed and needs to be re-set, and I haven't changed anything special that would require such a drastic solution. Not having done anything special, the issue would come back sooner or later if I don't spot the real cause.
Anyway, in diagnostics I have 21 application incidents for systemUI... Could it be caused by a bugged theme? Does this happen to anyone else?
Today I had two and I had another one last week. A off these were weird half reboots like I described above. I only noticed one because I was at my desk and the phone lighted up for the boot animation.
These reboots show up in diagnostics (phone info menu) as system events. Can you please check out if you have any system events and post here? I want to know if this is a widespread problem. Post here if you have any and also if you have a solution or way to troubleshoot.
Nobody at all? Really?

Screen time out not working

has anyone run across this issue when you set a specific time out, the screen dims after the specified time but does not lock, it stays on?
my phone was working just fine, stock not rooted, took the latest update and after that i've been having nothing but weird issues, the other day the notification area at the top was not working, i had to basically check every app, messages etc manually to see updates, had to factory reset the damn thing, now this screen issue, the phones is only 1 month old.
any input?
thanks
I'm having very weird issues with screen lock. I'm be on the phone and the device will randomly lock and not let me unlock it without restarting the phone.
The new update is when it all started. I don't want to do a factory reset, but it's looking like I might have to?

An error has occurred with the fingerprint sensor. If this message appears...........

Great...... Got this message appearing and can't rescan a fingerprint I need to. Can't do anything with the scanner now really. It still works with the prints that are scanned but I've noticed it's unpredictable.
I'm trying not to root this phone as I would like to use Samsung pay when it comes, so don't want to trip Knox. However, if I was rooted I reckon this would be a fairly easy fix. As it is, I can't find a way. I've deleted cache and data for the fingerprint app but it's having no effect. I could factory reset but this started for no reason, so it will start again after a factory reset no doubt.
Did you reboot? What carrier/model do you have?
Clean the button?
Reflash your firmware that should fix it use smart switch
In case this happens to anyone else - I found a fix.
I had enabled developer options and then enabled oem unlock. I had done this as I was going to install TWRP and then root the phone, but decided not to for reasons mentioned in my first post.
Anyway, I disabled oem unlock and developer options and now the scanner works again. Worked for me - hope it works for you.
But oem option not see in my phone s6 edge G925W8

Continuous reboots when unlocked by fingerprint or pin

Hi, I have the G7 power (model XT 1955-4) for 2 days, and something very strange happens to me,
Suddenly the phone to introduce the unlock by fingerprint or by pin, I constantly restarted and I can not continue, I get the message of activated motorcycle options,
I already did a cleanup from the Recovery model and I can't fix it,
I'd appreciate your help
That's an absolutely terrible bug never fixed by Motorola (AFAIK). This is what happens:
If I change "Default USB configuration" and/or animation scales, hours later, when unlocking the phone by using my fingerprint or PIN, in a random moment, the phone reboots and softbricks. After that, the only way to recover from this situation is making a factory reset and not changing those settings unless your life depends on it.
It's sad, but unless this is solved by Motorola or any kind developer, this is the only way I found out to prevent the phone from becoming useless.
I changed the animation scales with no issues a few weeks ago. You guys are just running unrooted stock I assume?

Lock screen bug? Phone is locking without any interference

Ok. So that what's happening to me for a while.
I got xiaomi Poco f2 pro, and my phone is locking without any interference. I can watch YouTube, Netflix, i can use discord, my phone can just lie on on the table and suddenly he is locked. Weird is that my main lock screen have wallpaper with cat (for post purpose i will say IMAGE 1) and my desktop where I got all my apps IMAGE 2. so everytime when it locks by it self it has IMAGE 2. not screen lock image. Desktop.
Sometimes even i need to unlock him TWICE cause i have first lock screen and than second one.
So that all... Anyone have solve? I'm not using any kind of Google launchers or anything. Pure MIUI 12.5.1
I would disable screen lock (at least for now) before it locks you out.
Malware is always a possibility especially if it didn't do it before and no other cause can be found.
If malware is suspected and can't be promptly found/deleted, factory reset.

so you think it could be a virus?

It's always a possibility. If you run your Android well it's highly unlikely even on Pie.
However if suspected prompt action is the best way to limit damage.
I don't like that it's a critical system that's affected. That could go south on you fast.
