Question Phone crashes/glitches, please help - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

I bought poco x3 pro about year ago. Didn't have problems with it up to now. About 3/4 weeks ago phone randomly turned off. I turned it on and after some time of using screen glitched, phone tried to restart but didn't turn on. About week later i decided to give it another try and connected it to charger. Surprisingly after about hour of charging phone turned on. Since that it crashes randomly more and more often when playing game (tower of fantasy). Screen and sound glitches, after few seconds it restarts and everything is back to normal for some time. Dunno if this would happen in other games because i don't play them often enough (but anyway never happened on others) Also phone has no problems during normal use. Any ideas what it can be? I'm thinking about root and flashing custom ROM. Could that help or it's more like hardware problem and i should expect phone to be dead soon?

it will die soon you better sell it soon

Probably overheating, NEVER play on charging! Easy way was few posts ago, it was about heating phones motherboard in the oven, but this method doesn't work for long time and is pointed for selling to yours enemies.
I have revived my Poco X3 Pro from sudden death
I have revived my Poco X3 Pro from sudden death, if... How? I disassembled the whole thing, took out the motherboard, coated it with aluminum except the SOC/Memory area, put it in the oven at 170Âșc 10 min, let it cool 30-40min, assembled it, it...

[Q] Mytouch 4G Slide bricked while using

I installed a stable version of cyanogenmod 9 on my phone and the system was working perfectly, but I spent some time without using it because it didn't have any signal(I think its aerial is broken). After some time I decided to try to fix it, so I turned it on. It booted normally, but shortly it turned off by itself. Then I tried to turned it on again successfully, but again it turned off. I thought it was the battery so I plugged the phone, but it wasn't showing any sign of being charged. So I tried to charge the battery out of the phone and I checked its voltage, but when I put it back in the phone, it didn't work. The only thing I see, when I try to turn it on is a dim red light in the trackpad.
Any ideas of what happened? Is this reversible?
Thanks in advance.
I'm no expert, but it unfortunately sounds bricked to me.
Similar thing happened on my 1st MT4GS after like a week of owning it. We were on vacation and I was playing fruit ninja, slashing happily away as the phone was plugged in for bedtime. All of a sudden it turns off. I'm like WTF, it was charging! But it apparently wasn't, and similar symptoms to you. No other lights/charge/indication of anything working. Just the dim red light in the track pad I could get to go on and off. Since it was just over a month old after I got back from vacation, I wound up having to ship to HTC rather than walk out with a new one from t-mobile, but they sent me a replacement I've been using since.
So sorry I don't have better news, but it sounds like what happened to me, and it was dead and had to be replaced.
Hi,
This has happened to me two or three times but thankfully I have a few other devices so I needn't worry much.
When this happens I take out sim, SD and battery for a week or so. Upon reinserting battery all was good each time.
If you have a spare try it, I can't say for sure if we are on the same boat but its worth a shot before throwing it away.

Edit
Here is a link that I and a few other discussed our issues, none the same but all similar.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2257451
Also there are plenty of other threads I seen on this as well, search around a bit and hopefully you'll find an answer
Best of luck!
So there's some threads I just shouldn't read ...
After coming across this today my phone has started turning off by itself (doing routine things, like pressing the "Read" button on an SMS). There's gotta be a weird coincidence there (I had an underclock issue where the screen wouldn't come on a couple months ago while earlier that day I was reading the post on how to replace a bad LCD panel - so I get to overreact like that).
I think my issue is more about battery as I have been tracking it the past several hours (three shutdowns in a row at 60% battery, and then one ten minutes ago at 20%) but it continues to work itself out (with some weird stuff like notification panel crashing on me on one of the last reboots).
I have what I presume is a cheap 1900mAh battery (EZOPower) that is starting to show it's wrinkles. I have dropped the max processor speed a notch according to a recommendation in this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2753720
...hopefully that was the issue. I nandroid'd my device just in case something goes wrong. If it continues, I'll swap batteries and see.
I'm hesitant to shell out for a couple Ankers because I currently have my eye on the LG Optimus F3Q (although getting one would be three months away, I gotta have priorities).

[Q] Moto G fell in water and stopped responding after some time

Hi,
I own a moto g which accedentally dropped in water. i took it off and it was working fine for few min. After some time i noticed some water inside my screen and my touch was not working. I left my phone for some time. After an hour when i restarted my phone my touch was working. To dry down the water, i kept my phone under shady sun light for about 2 hours. Now when i try to switch it on the led light is blinking 3 times as if it do when the battery drains. I tried to charge my phone and now the LED light is blinking and later it stopped.
my doubt is If my circuits are crashed will the LED light blink. Because i used my phone before if completely dried off.
Can any one say weather to keep hopes on my phone of getting it back or not.
I also had the same problem on the same day you faced, On 31st jan 2015, by mistake I dropped my phone inside a tub full with water, I took it out immediately it was working fine then but after 10 minutes the battery % got down from 30% to 11% suddenly, then I dried it off in the sunlight for almost 2 hours and also kept it in rice for 2 to 3 hours it worked fine but at night when I was talking to a friend the phone suddenly got disconnected and no sims detected message came up then I switched it off and tried restarting it but it never did, then I removed the sims and kept it open under the fan for the whole night and next day I went to the official service centre and handed it over to them it is now in the service centre and they told me that the motherboard is damaged, I did not mentioned anything about the water damage actually, I told them only that my phone is not restarting, since my phone is under warranty the company will provide the motherboard chip and I don't have to pay anything but the thing is that I am very sad because I had recently updated it to lollipop 5.0.2 which was amazing I was really enjoying it but suddenly this happened and I don't think my phone will be the same which it was......:crying::crying
Posted in the wrong thread.
@sivasis Also its not right to deceive moto, you dropped in water and didn't tell them. It was your fault that its damaged not theirs. That's fraud bud.

I never said you blamed them, I simply said you are deceiving them. If you look under the warranty conditions warranty is void of you caused the malfunction. Which you did by dropping it in water. It may have been an accident but moto does not legally have to fix your mess up. Understand?

You must have had disassemble the device (specially the battery) first then clean it with lacquer thinner before you dry.
Or better to take it in Service Center.
@alex_is_the_1 Whatever be the matter the good thing is today I got my mobile fully repaired and I did not have to pay anything and the bad thing is it has kitkat 4.4.4 version, I have to again download that lollipop update

Should I try again?

Hey guys I needed your help with deciding if I want to give the 12.2 another chance. I bought a tab pro 12.2 Wifi, and it worked great for a 8-9 months. While it was working I loved it. Then I had the battery drain issues all the way to the point it wouldn't turn on. Did a factory reset/tried all the tricks to get it to turn back on as well to no avail. To make a long story short I bought a new charging port(wouldnt turn on),then bought a new battery(turned on up to 60% and eventually ran out and died again). Still have the stock charger so thats not the cause either. I wanted to know if this was just a faulty model I purchased and its the exception and not the norm. Any longtime users willing to chime in with their experience and convince me to drop $600+ again.
I've had mine since 9 may 2014. (The P905 LTE). Never had any issues with battery.
Your issue is certainly not the norm, or the model would've been pulled off the market a long time ago.
The only issue mine has is that sometimes the touchscreen driver crashes upon wakeup. It cames back up after a minute or so. But that's fully firmware-based and I'm simply too lazy to reflash. xD

[Q] My display seems to fail randomly, even after changing LCD. What could it be?

So here's my issue. Yesterday, my phone started to give me a while screen full of dead pixels (pinkish color) randomly. I would turn off the phone, turn it back on and after 2-3 minutes it would crash again. Last year I dropped it and cracked the screen, so to me it was related to that. The phone works fine other than that (music plays when display fails. I did wipe it completely and reinstalled Kit Kat, it solved the issue temporarily but after 30 minutes it started again.
Today I decided to go check out a phone repair shop and ended getting my phone fixed by them. What this consisted of is a replacing the display and plastic frame. I picked up the phone and everything was perfect, new screen and display which looks and feels like new.
Now it's been about 5 hours and the phone started acting strange again. Now it's a lot less worse than before, but I still get the full screen of dead pixels. The display will go on and off (I guess it's trying to reinitialize or something) but always fails. So I end up rebooting the phone for it to work again.
The 2 times it happened after getting the phone fixed it was when I put it in my pocket to go from my work to my car, and then from my car to my home. So I don't know if it has anything to do with being in my pocket, that's why I came here.
So could anyone could shed some light on my issue here? Is my phone already dying? It's only been 13 months and I'd hate to have spent for a new display for basically nothing.
Replace the flex cable. If that doesn't work then it's an issue with the motherboard/screen, in which case you would have to guess between the two, or simply send it to LG and pay for a repair.

Pixel 2 battery replacement after issues

Hello,
I went to a local repair shop that can replace my Google Pixel 2 battery. Since the battery got worse after 1 and a half year I decided to let it replace it.
So after it got replaced I noticed some weird issues and I don't know what I should do now.:
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
First issue, somehow the sim tray is broken and it felt stuck. It doesn't pop out anymore and now I broke it and the SIM card is still there (does work btw).
The second issue is that the phone gets hot for no reason with some use with mobile data. It gets hot in the upper area of the phone right next to the sim card and in where the fingerprint sensor is.
Also around the top of the camera area.
I mean it wasn't like that before. It could get hot when I was playing games but NEVER when I was with mobile data on twitter for a few minutes. Now after I watched a 5 minutes video, damn it got a bit warm/hot (tendency more to hot).
The third issue is that the phone doesn't charge when it's completely turned off! There is the charging animation but the juice doesn't get up high (It remains where it got charged). Only when I turn the phone on it will charge normally.
Just what happened? Its a fresh new original battery? I don't want to go to the repair shop again just to get charged with more money and other issues.
Anyone any advice or just buy a new phone?
