Wonder does anyone know if there will be a 7T ,
Particularly a 7T pro.

Lol I'm sure there will they always do

I hope not, cause then I would buy a phone that for that will be a better version out in 5 months for the same price and the OP7PRO will drop in value
I don't know what else they can improve except a bigger battery and better camera software.
Doubt it, I think OnePlus is finally going down to releasing every year a new device now.
If there is a Oneplus 7 ProT or "T" it will be because it is 5G capable (USA Style 5g) just my two cents.

Pretty much agree.
The SD865 isn't due out until about this time next year.
Probably 5G added to the 1+Pro!

Honestly, not many really care about wireless charging. Not enough for companies to make a design decision based on it. The ones that complain about it are just very, very vocal. I've had wireless charging and it struck me as nothing but a gimmick. For me, these things made wireless charging all but useless:
- Lack of wireless charging locations. Sure some cars (GMs, mainly) have a wireless charging area, anywhere else, you're going to be plugging in to charge... unless you bring your wireless charging pad with you (or buy extras).
- Nowhere near as fast as wired charging.
- Can't use phone while charging
Regular 7T could be quite possible, but not 7T Pro.
Don't give any chance for Pro 7T

And the bigger battery size will be eaten by the extra 5G modem, which could not be included in the Snapdragon 855. So probably not worth it anyway.

Correct. It might have wireless charging as well to help with the battery issues. I'm guessing 1440p, 90hz, high ppi display and 5g is going to suck the battery like crazy!

Also,
A more secure finger print scanner
Much better cameras
123° ultrawide camera
Less weight
Brighter display
Hart rate monitor
Barometer
Complete apps like gallery with casting
Everything just works as intended.
I still have s9+. Op7Pro is not better. Diferent, but not better.

Doesn't the S10+ have a headphone jack too?
3.5mm headphone jack
I can't believe nobody has mentioned the headphone jack till now?
Are you all those monsters who doesn't miss the good ol 3.5mm jack?

Yes. It can also do HDR10+ videos, HEIC, HEVC, sd, wireless charge/reverse charge, and some lesser known perks.
I'm switching for root. US S10s are locked down, and ofc my G7 can't be rooted either.
OP7P has also HDR10+ support...
The OnePlus 7Pro is not branded by Samsung... ?
besides everything that has been mentioned, for me what I have noticed after switching form S10+ to OP7 Pro:
Better LTE speeds on S10+ with T-Mobile in my area
S10+ can play videos and audio up to 4x without cut offs and the OP7 is unusable after 1.5x (audio cut offs)
Screen looks better on S10+ (colors and brightness) but OP7 Pro has no punch hole and it's bigger so it's a tie
The price? LOL
A locked bootloader

The S10 isn't waterproof its water resistant big difference. Also water damage isn't covered under warranty so who cares. If either gets wet and breaks you SOL either way. No one cares about wireless charging when the OP charges 50% in 20 minutes that more than makes up for it IMO.
People care about wireless charging as you can charge wireless accessories and all now with it. Also one more thing I forgot to mention despite having 4100 mAh battery it is both slimmer 7.8 mm and way lighter 175grams to 206 grams of OnePlus 7 pro so much better design phone
Wireless charging is for people to ***** about mostly. It means nothing when you can charge so much faster.
3.5mm jack is nice since I use it to connect my phone to car when my bluetooth adapter battery dies.
The waterproof rating is a joke. It really means nothing but raises the cost of the phone. All phones with IP rating still won't warranty your phone from water damage and Oneplus does all the same waterproofing.
Reverse wireless charging is kinda funny. People already complain about not enough battery yet you scream for a feature to charge your buds at the expense of your phone battery. Great, now the buds are charge but I can't use the phone!?
the 960 FPS recording is certainly nice but can be added in a software update.
As I said before. I'd rather save $600 plus as the S10+ with similar specs are $1250 and $1600

People saying that reverse wireless charging is actually a needed feature probably use it next to none. It was cool at first but if you out and about it's useless you can't just keep something on the back of your phone walking around or in a bag.
So the Smaller Note 10 differs from the Note 10+ model in the following aspects:
• Smaller Full HD+ display
• 8GB RAM
• Smaller 3500mAh battery
• No ToF sensor on the rear
• No MicroSD slot
• Different colors
• Lower Price
For those of you who have spent some time with both the smaller Note 10 and the larger Note 10+, are there any other less obvious differences between the two handsets? (ie. Has Samsung cut corners in any other aspects?)
Do they have the same haptic vibration motor?
Do they have the same sound quality?
Do they have the same fast charge capability? (Wired and wireless)
Anything else?

Note10 has 12w wireless charging where as Note10+ has 15w
Note10 can charge using 25w where as Note10+ can utilize 45w
I would say the sound is more likely the same and haptic feedback too

That is very disappointing. I really wish Samsung had kept all the same specifications in both handsets aside from size and obviously battery size.
I would love a smaller Note 10 but there are just too many compromises for a handset that is still very expensive.

I don't use my phone that much, it is just sitting in my car or home. As if the phone is on vacation. The life is so calm and beautiful without interruptions! When I go out with my friends we don't have to stop every second in the middle of side walk and reply to a text, don't have to check my phone is another phone is ringing near by. If a friend wanted to talk to me in the coffee shop, but instead I would be destructed by the phone and not listen properly to the conversation. This is probably a different topic
Hi, I'm considering the 7T Pro but have some questions.. would be thankful if you could answer them.
1. Is there a stable gcam that supports all of the lenses ? At least all the rear lenses..? If not, is there a gcam that supports both the main and the ultra wide angle lenses (my two most used)?
2. Is night sight stable with gcam ? Does it work with the ultra wide angle as well?
3. I travel a lot and hike a lot. The lack of Quick Charge support bothers me a lot because I'll need to carry a separate charger for the OnePlus (right now I use one 6 port QC3 for everyone)..well, nothing to do about that, but the other thing is : Sometimes I need a quick charge from a powerbank. Since both of my Powerbanks are QC3 , I guess I will only be able to charge slowly (2A) with the OnePlus 7T Pro.. does anyone know how slow it will be ? I'm trying to minimize the time my phone is connected to a powerbank. How long approx will it take to get from around 10% to 60%?
I don't understand OnePlus .. just add support for Quick Charge and keep using your warp thingy. It's a very Apple-ish move and which is very annoying to see on an Android platform.
4. I wasn't happy with the wide angle samples I've seen, does gcam make wonders there ?
5. Although no IP68, it should still be somewhat water resistant, right ?
6 battery life with 90hz / 60hz.. big difference?
Thanks !
I suggest waiting for OP8

No thanks... They went with notch display...
The reason why the 7 Pro was so appealing to me was the nothless display.

The quick charge and warp charge are very different implementations... The difference appears to be Quick Charge literally cooks the battery... Warp much less so...
I have a QC external battery bank too... It seems you can acheive near QC speeds on QC as long as you use the non supplied cable.
There are ports of gcam available that support the cameras I have read, what's so important about gcam though over stock?
Knowing what I know now, I'm glad I didn't wait for 7t pro, these devices are very easy to brick (ONLY IF YOU CHHOSE MUCK AROUND WITH It in the typical XDA fashion) ... However, there also very easy to unbrick with the tools and files provided on XDA. But without those tool your SOL... So, something you should consider... The availability of those tools should be an important purchase factor. You may be waiting a while for a like package to arrive for the 7t pro.
Thanks Cantenna.
After around 2 years with gcam, I understood that gcam is life
For someone like me (photography enthusiastic), the difference is very noticeable. Stock camera will kill details compared to gcam.
Personally I'm not fond of the curved display, but I like stock Android and the non Pro model had lower resolution screen which bothers me too..
Decisions...
Thanks for your input!

You know, I've only owned Samsung phones... S4 - S8+ and I read negative comments regarding the One Plus Pro 7 curved screen being more pronounced... but for me it seems to works great with my aftermarket Otterbox bulky case. Phone also ships with a screen protector already applied, so I've kept that on as well.
I got mine with shipping for $1,123.95 AUD (12GB/256GB)
This is the best phone I have ever owned and like you, the ASOP experience... Don't get hung up on the fast charge, phone actually still recharges very quickly with a standard USB C cable.
Are there any quality dash cam apps out there? I was looking at putting blackvue cameras in my car, but maybe i can re-purpose the old phone and use the new phone when needed?
I did this same thing with my S20 Ultra once I got my Note20 Ultra.
I'm using Navmii AI Dashcam from the play store. It works pretty good but seems to freeze when I record sound with video. Probably user error. Here's a link :

This has good reviews. I haven't used it myself because my lease ended and had no reason to get a new car atm. Look up some YouTube reviews on it

I use sygic with the dashcam add on. GPS that is fairly reliable along with dashcam built in.
Take a look at Torque Pro.....

I don't use it for the dash cam feature, but rather for vehicle data/diagnostics from my OBD2 Bluetooth adapter. Nonetheless it has a dash cam feature included and you can customise the display with overlays of all sorts of data of your choosing.
