Question Connect watch from wear os app? - Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

Is their any way to connect galaxy watch 4 with wear os app?

You can pair without the wear app but you need the app to configure the watch in any phone, samsung or not.

Have you tried the wear app?
Without connecting it properly, via Samsung Wear app, what you have is largely an expensive paperweight that most functions are wasted on
If you try and connect it properly and fail, then get back to the community...and peopel will try and help
But asking a hypthetical without trying the standard approach is the slow way to resolving things
There are solutions to some issues, and for things like running Samsung Health Monitor on non-Samsung and rooted devices, for example:
[RESTRICTIONS-REMOVED] Samsung Health Monitor - WearOS - 1.1.3.002 - Root, Age, Country & Device Restriction Removed - 23rd May 2023
Hello Everyone, I hope you all are fine... ~~~ WearOS WATCHES ONLY ~~~ ~~~ FEATURES, BUGS & FUTURE WORKS~~~ FEATURES: Works on Samsung Watch4 and Watch5 (as mentioned Samsung WearOS Watches), Multilanguage, no root detection, no country...

but you need to get the initial conenction sorted out first

Gear S3 app store doesn't work at all

Since the new update - march [EU market], I can't open the app store in the Samsung Gear application for my Gear S3. The application connects to the watch and I can see the information about Gear. I can't view or install any apps, which makes this watch pretty useless. It worked before the update. I bought the watch a few days before the update so I haven't made a backup of the apps and watchfaces I installed before the update (not sure if I could install them even with the backup since it'd probably require opening the store). I can't restore them and now I can't install them either.
Opening the store always gives this error on a white screen: {"returnCode":"0","errorCode":"0001","errorMsg":"System Error!-[0001]"}
If I try to open any category in the store (for example Health/Fitness), it says "No apps" instead of the error.
I've tried to fix it by:
- reseting Gear S3
- factory reseting Gear S3
- restarting my phone
- cleaning phone cache
- cleaning cache from Samsung Gear, Gear S Plugin and Samsung Accessory Service apps
- cleaning all data from the 3 apps
- uninstalling and reinstalling the 3 apps
- installing the previous (november) .apk versions of the 3 applications (Samsung Gear 2.2.16101261, Gear S Plugin 2.2.03.16111661 and Samsung Accessory Service 3.1.26_16116)
Information about devices:
- Sony Xperia Z3 (Android 6.0.1, up-to-date software, compatible with Gear S3)
- Samsung Gear S3 (model SM-R770, Tizen 2.3.2.3, software version R770XXU2BQC5)
Help fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

This looks not like Samsung handset...
Maybe try first to verify which device makes "trouble"... handset or gear or both...
Easiest way IMHO...
Connect Samsung device with your SM-R770...
No need to buy Samsng handset... maybe your family or friends or neighbar or closest seller.
NO joke.
Samsung do sometimes """funny""" changes to Software so all previous stuff render useless...
Maybe your Sony is now incompatible with BQC5 Firmware...
Btw.

Is there a way to manually install (Side Load) Facer companion app on Gear S3 Frontier?

Hi all,
I just recently realized that Facer is now supporting Gear S3 watches with the help of a companion app which has to be installed on the watch, so naturally I decided to give it a try as there are more than a handful of their watch faces (free & paid) that I love to have.
While I can easily download the Facer Android app on my phone, I seem to be in one of them regions where Samsung is oblivious to making the Facer companion app available currently.
So naturally I was thinking if there is a manual method to get the companion app from a source other than the galaxy store and to manually side load it on to my watch, effectively countering the regional restrictions?
Cheers.

Question Hyundai Blue Link App Not Loading

Has anyone been able to get the Hyundai Blue Link app on the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic. I just got this watch on Friday (1 April 2022) and was looking forward to having access to Blue Link via my watch. I replaced a Samsung Galaxy Frontier watch which does not support the app (since it does not run on Android).
If you did successfully get it loaded please provide the steps you did to get it to work. I have already deleted and reloaded the app on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra) twice. I have restarted the phone and the watch and still no app.
Thanks.
The Blue Link app is not supported by the GW4C, or any other smart watch, tablet, etc.
Android phones only.
The app description states that it does support Wear OS smartwatch features. As the GW4C is Wear OS, it should load the companion app on the watch.
Exactly, I'm trying to do the same thing with my watch 4 and 22 Sante fe. Had no idea this would be an ssue as the bluelink app description states compatibility with wear os.

I have a trouble ticket in with the Blue Link engineers, so maybe this will be resolved. Here's hoping.

Question How to enable ECG &Blood pressure monitor

Hi All I need someone to help if you can simplify or explain it more the process that Dante63 used to transfer the SHM from S22 device to the watch4 as I am not able to complete properly the procedure. I only managed to download SHM on the phone.
Use wear installer 2 to simplify the process
Make sure both devices are on the same WiFi network
Enable wireless debugging on watch
Download both APKs. Phone for phone, watch for watch
Open up wear installer 2 on your phone and input your watch IP address and press done
Press custom APK and select watch APK
Press continue and install
Done

Select the watch APK not phone APK
Watch APK is about 12mb
What's the APK to be used?
Where can I download it

Question Heart beat mesurements in Google Fit.

Hi,
I just bought a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro to replacing my Fossil Gen 5.
With the Fossil, I had a mesurement of my heart beats in background, during all the day.
I was possible to see the curve in Google Fit on my phone.
But since I've my Galaxy Watch, Google Fit don't mesure my heart in background.
Samsung Health does this, but I have all my history in Google Fit.
With Google Fit, now, I only can make manual mesurement.
Is it any solution/setup to solve this?
I've been using Health Sync (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.appyhapps.healthsync) for a year now with Galaxy Watch 4 and I'm super happy. It's a paid app but we'll worth it if you want all data in Google Fit. It can sync everything from Samsung Health to Google Fit.
I've also been waiting for Google Fit to support the Health Platform which would do "native" synching. It should come at some point but you never know.
Install Google fit on your watch from play store, it should work right out of the box
In this case, we have to use Health Sync to have all the informations.
Thanks for the solution.

Yesterday I noticed an article about Google Fit Connect being now supported: https://9to5google.com/2022/10/10/google-fit-health-connect/
I tried to install it on my phone and now Samsung Health and Google Fit sync even without Health Sync. At first, Samsung Health didn't seem to write heart rate data to Fit Connect but after updating Samsung Health and changing watch to measure continuously, it now syncs even heart rate data. I believe it was just the Samsung Health update that was needed but need to test it.

Apparently the current version of Samsung Health doesn't write steps or exercise data to Fit Health Connect. Let's see if they can fix it soon.
Its still buggy, Samsung abruptly stopped recording to health connect, Health sync app is still the best option until google and Samsung stabilizes it
Can confirm Health Connect now works with Samsung Health and Google Fit, however as others have said, workouts from Samsung Health don't get transferred over to Google Fit (yet). Let's hope this gets expanded on soon.
I installed health Connect but doesn't write steps from Samsung Health to Google Fit!
What can be done?
I asked Samsung too
You have to accept lots of permissions on your phone and on your watch.
It could be the cause.
I checked all possible permissions from Google Fit, Samsung Health, Health Connect.
Still no steps writing from SH to GF.
Another idea?
Health Connect says i need screen lock, i do have that and try to change it but no go.
