I have a new 6a and use the googlefi network. I migrated the data from my 4a to the 6a with a cable. Everything looked fine but today I see that my phone call logs did not migrate. I chatted with Google support and they said use 3rd party app. I migrated my wife's 3a to a 6a and the call logs came through. Any help???

Wake up this morning phone is cool, all apps I need setup and working. Really liking the phone.
Wife goes to store, comes back and said she tried to call me and it went to my Google voice account. Phone never rang. Try to call her, nada.. says I have a 1xRTT connection which is weird.
Phone is dead for cellular network access.
Contact support, nothing works, reactivate my Nexus 5x and everything works, so it is the Pixel. Have to go in Monday to get it replaced. Will use the Nexus 5x in the meantime.
Pixel was on 7.1.1 completely stock bought from Verizon online.
Today went to a store to exchange the phone. I had factory reset the phone first.
When I got there they only had 1 left. The sales person said let's change the SIM first to see if that fixes the problem, new SIM and seeing a good LTE signal, it works great.
Get home and reload my apps etc, go to make a call, back to square one. 1xRTT, no cellular network, no calls in, no calls out just like on Sat.
Now no stores have pixels in stock, cute.
Jan 5th is the earliest I can get a replacement.
Might just cancel the entire order as I have now had a Pixel since Wed that I can't use and it will be 2 weeks after I got the original before I get a replacement.
Either
1. The phone is bad
2. The tower by the house has issues though my Nexus 5x works ok
3. The Pixel doesn't do well with LTE?
I've heard that there are users in other countries with LTE issues, but not around here.

Can try turning Enhanced 4G LTE off (or VOLTE) and see if that works. Or, maybe turn it on if it's off.
Tried that both on Saturday and again today after the new SIM was pot in.
I've searched, but can't find any information on 802.11r (wifi fast roaming) support on the Pixel 3a.
Does anyone know of a reference that will answer this question?
I've tested a few wifi mesh systems, and fast roaming rarely seems to work properly. I'm just want to know if the Pixel is the problem, or the mesh.
Hey, everyone, I've had a serious issue with my latest Pixel 3 activation on Sprint.
Back in April I successfully activated a new Pixel 3, this one required a physical SIM (Unlike my original Pixel 3). However, once I received the SIM card it was successfully activated within five minutes.
Fast forward into May, and the new Pixel 3 was heavily damaged. Luckily I was able to get a new replacement, but this time around I've been having activation issues.
In late May I went to activate the newest Pixel 3 online, and it brought up an error. I called customer service, and they said that somehow both phones were showing as active on my line at the same time. After multiple days of back and forth, and promised phone calls to me which never occurred, they finally created a support ticket for me. Over a week later I was assured that this issue would be solved. Finally, when I entered the phone's IMEI it no longer showed as being active on my line, however, it provided an ICCID number completely unfamiliar to me. This ICCID number doesn't match any SIM cards I have, nor can I find it on the phone in question.
One question I have on my mind regarding ICCID numbers, my oldest Pixel 3 was activated via ESIM, and it was assigned an ICCID after activation. Could this be occurring with my newest Pixel 3?
My newest Pixel 3 does have ESIM capability, but that won't work, neither will switching the SIM card from the damaged phone. Customer service said the phone passed the BYOD check, but it won't activate. They created another support ticket for me, but the tech said if it doesn't work by tomorrow I should just return the phone.
I'm just looking for some help about what in the world could be going on here? Is Sprint's system just completely jacked up? Could the phone somehow be "faulty"? What else can I do?
Greetings. Had issues with reception on Pixel 6 so went with my prior Pixel 5a. Pixel 5a updated then decided to gobble up battery. Like 20% in a few hours of doing nothing. Battery app said google fi was offending app.
Changed to Pixel 4a and so far behaving well. Thank goodness
Utilizing dual sim with Fi eSim and Verizon mvno for hard sim. Was getting 5G but not available with 4a.
My question: is 5G driver issue with this update? 4A has, since pulled, Dec patch installed and no issues.
Not going to change anything right now just being curious.
TIA for your input.
Lately I noticed that my data drops when I'm calling with my Pixel 4a. Does anyone knows how to fix this? I've reset the network settings, deleted APN settings, reboot etc but nothing works do far. I've called Google but they only give me the "fixes" I've just mentioned.
Nobody?
Still nothing but did some tests :
I've put my sim in my friends Samsung S20 and it works fine.
I've put my friends sim in my Pixel 4a and have the same problem.
My girlfriend has also a Pixel 4a and has the same problem.
Conclusion so far : The problem is with the Pixel 4a, not with the sim
Today I've putted another sim in my Pixel 4a (different provider) and this time I had no data drop when calling.
New conclusion : My provider's sim and the Pixel 4a don't like each other
Depending on carrier, If it switches to 3G that means that the carrier's network does not have sufficient capacity for VoLTE and LTE is only for data.
Mine provider does this and i see it switching before a call.
Well it doesn't make sense to me at all. My carrier's sim does work flawless in a Samsung.
