This most likely happened due to an incompatible flash or incomplete one.
Now try the clear all option and format your phone completely before flashing MIUI again.
Also what OS were you running when this happened?

Before flashing i was using v10.3.7.0 (which was flashed by service center engineers using EDL mode.) And the Flashtool version was 2018.5.28.0.

oh, I forgot to tell you, I got the error while the system partition was flashing.. so definitely it was a incomplete flash.

1. Now download the flashboot ROM u want
2.Now select the flash all including storage option
3. Try flashing it now
It should be successful as this will wipe out the existing OS and install a new one
Also u will lose your data so I hope u had a backup..
If anyone on 10.3.9 & facing bugs & want to downgrade then unlock bootloader & then download minimal adb toolkit extract it & copy the extracted fastboot rom files into minimal adb folder & then put your phone into fastboot mode & then run clear all & install.bat inside the extracted folder & wait for it to finish & you will be able to downgrade because you wont be able to downgrade with mi flash, its a tested process by me as i bricked my bootloader unlocked phone which was only going to fastboot mode, i recovered by this process.

I was flashing miui 12 OTA through orange fox recovery. Now my phone is dead. It can boot into recovery, fastboot flawlessly. It is detected in miflash also but whenever I am trying to flash miui 11 any version stock rom it gives error "cannot recieve hello packet". I have flashed many roms from orange fox and all of them flashed successfully but it is booting to recovery only. Plzz help
PS : I have read many threads but remove the battery /let the battery drain out method was not much explanatory so I couldn't understand it.. Plz anyone can suggest alternative method or same method in detail.

I think you need to remove the battery and try..im not sure though...
Try searching for this error...its a kind of general error so you would find an answer in some other device section
First of all download miui 11 recovery zip file for violet, after that boot into pitch black recovery, then wipe all partitions you see there and must format data then reboot to pitch black recovery again now place the zip file into your phone and flash and you will be good to go

Hi. Recently I've been trying to flash Xiaomi.eu. however, it didn't have success. My bootloader is unlocked, and I flashed the Chinese TWRP to flash it. However, upon flashing it I always had an error about my cache being corrupted or an odm error. However, I did manage to boot into xiaomi.eu before, but it randomly stopped working. Tried to flash stock as well, but everytime I do, it stops at the cache again and always gives me an error.
I'm fully defeated at this point and I haven't been able to boot into anything since. I've tried everything and that's why I'm here.
I hope anyone can help me.
Thank you.

I tried to flash stock ROM via MiFlash. Most likely the latest build. I will try with another USB cable now.
Screenshot with error
I've instead tried to unbrick it with XiaomiToolV2. However, I'm still getting the same error, just in a different way. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've had this multiple times without success.

As my phone is bricked during custom rom i used smart phone flash tool to flash the file . When flashing going on a dialog box appears on saying that verified boot is enabled. So please help me to recover from this.
I want (opporeserve2-verified.img) to continue. Or suggest me any other methods
Disable verified boot ( AVB ) by means of Fastboot or AVBCTL utiilty. Requires phone's bootloader is got unlocked before.
I have the exact problem.
My RMX2117 is bricked.
CAN"T ACCESS FASTBOOT AND ADB
Only BROM and SP flashing available.
So, I'm trying to install stock firmware but getting the same error.
Please help recover the device.

just unlock your bootloader before flashing with sp flash, you can use third party tools like this cannot attach link here it will be removed, go on google and search for mtk client tool.
just power off your mobile, click driver install button
, then click unlock bootloader then connect your phone...
after unlocking bootloader error will disappear.

But
Can I flash a stock rom using sp flash tool without getting " please find *-verified.img" or disable secure boot " error ?
+ also , can I flash a patched boot.img by Magick with the whole rom
And why I don't flash the preloaded with the other files ?????

first of all yes you can flash the whole rom without getting the error that you mentioned if you will do a clean flash ( i assume that you know what is clean flash ) base on my experience flashing the whole rom while the old rom is still in the phone will result to the error that you mentioned but this depend in the device though but mostly there is always an error if you do that, second yes probably you can flash the patched_boot.img along with the whole rom but i never tried that before but to be sure you need to flash the patched_boot.img if your going to root your phone if you dont want to get some error, third if you do a clean flash then you flash the whole rom along with it you defenitly get the error that you mentioned for some reason i think when you flash the preloader along with other files it will create a conflict resulting to that error thats why if ever you want to flash a rom always flash the preloader first or flash it last after you flash the whole partition.
1- the error was in md1.img file
2- brooooo , my phone is in security patch a.46 and I downloaded the a.42 version so what I mean is my phone is updated to the latest but I want to downgrade it
Soo , I'll flash the opporeserve2 file but without the preloader file ( but flash it with unticking the other files)

If you have backed up data and system, try restoring them separately.
Look inside here:

I recover from a bootloop on a redmi 10 by following this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...icked-redmi-note-9-merlin-hard-brick.4347025/
modification I used in the steps:
I download redmi 10 fastboot image for my device here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/selene/stable/V12.5.20.0.RKUMIXM/
I used the scatter(txt) mt6768 from the rom above
I used in the bypass folder my chipset version (2ND script) mt6768_payload.bin
Did not used the authv5
I had to try it several times my computers had difficulty recognizing the usb com port of my phone
overall it was quite of a hassle but worth it.
