it was a PX3 1024*680 on MTCE 2.83
I believe it has a rockchip processor?
I downloaded H9k firmware and it asked to erase and install after being inserted to the SD card slot. it restarted and hung up on the Hal9k car navigation multimedia screen. and Now it just keeps rebooting to the same bit and boot looping constantly. I have no buttons I can press on my head unit there is not reset button ether so I'm at a dead end how I can try to boot into a recovery mode and try to install a stable firmware again otherwise I have a paperweight sat in my car.
I'm not sure what other information I need to provide is anyone can help me at all it would be greatly appreciated.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to replace the processor board, maybe you can get it at the bazaar, or you can buy it at aliexpress.

I've been researching this tablet and there is nothing specifically for her.
I have some doubts:
1) The factory brings Rom does not have the ability to factory reset it, you might not have root. In total reset option but does not give anything.
2) Nor has the USB debugging option so I can not connect to the PC, connect and no response
---------------------------------
A real headache, I have EXPERIENCE in other tablet but with this or not and where to start.
- This tablet shaped enter in "Recovery" from the beginning ?.
I've been playing with the keys of power + menu + center key and varying options but does not enter into recovery mode.
- Is there a way with everything explained to charge any firmware ?.
I think it read in this thread the adapter is 24 Pin, s but the manual firmware loading indicates the need to connect the USB tablet.
- What would be to avoid mistakes most appropriate firmware according to the information provided ?.
Thank you very much anticipated by the aid.

I posted this thread long ago, probably I deleted the photo. But the tablet is (Alwinner A13 Q8_V1.0) and I'm still looking for a solution for the tablet.
Hello, I tried to install a custom MCU with sound patch and now the unit hardly boots. I got it to boot but it shutted off and I wasn’t able to flash the original MCU. I’ve been trying to get into recovery by holding down the power button until the key backlight flashes three times still holding it for three seconds and then letting go and pressing again.I tried with ADB but still no success.I tried making a SD card with SDBoot.bin but I am not able, the program crashes. The unit boots sometime and I am even able to start settings and etc...Thanks.
EDIT: I am sorry the unit is a MTCE_LM.

Next step seems to me to be formatting your SOM flash and reflashing android via OTG. There's alot of posts detailing how to do this, the bootloop thread you posted in is a starter.

Maybe I have to do it or maybe I don't, because a few times it booted into Android. I am thinking about reflashing the original MCU which I have and just wiping all data may fix the issue, if I just enter recovery, that's the problem.
EDIT:I disassembled the unit and got the SOM out, gonna try, but if I fail how do I get it to MaskROM
on PX30?

I reflashed the SOM flash via OTG.The unit still doesn't want to boot. When I hold the power button the key backlight flashes so this indicates the MCU is okay?
EDIT: It showed me multi media on vehicle system bla bla and then BMW logo, which is strange because I reflashed and it should be a erisin logo and it turned off again.
I cannot reach recovery on my unit. It has no physical buttons. Can anybody explain how to reboot into recovery?

Is it an MTCD type or variant of?
Yes it is MTCE_HXD
If you have an RST hole, then the video tutorial is here:
Thanks for the video. I have tried the reset procedure as you showed in the video. However, even after waiting 30+ seconds nothing happens. Maybe wait longer or another way to get into recovery mode.
I have tried your method. What I noticed is that it does not shutdown but goes on black immediaty. In your video it shows "shutting down". SO this method does not work on my pX5 unit. Any suggestions?
Press and hold until the buttons flash. Then release and press again briefly.
I tried. Even waited 30 seconds. But nothing happens.
So I don't know, it's a standard procedure, try to write a seller, maybe he has a different way. I read somewhere that instead of pressing RST a second time, he pressed power. Or watch videos on youtube, use the search engine and enter recovery PX ...
There is one more option. If you manage to install the Hal9k firmware, recovery is in the toolbar below the power button:

I have done some more testing:
1st: The RST button seems to directly power off the unit (instead off shutting down).
2nd. Using the power button (not physical). This only puts in in standby and does not shutdown.
I think not getting into recovery has to do with the buttons not working like described in the for to go into recovery mode.
So, after a couple of months running Android 10 without any issue, my MTC-D PX5 screen froze yesterday, and after a power off/on the screen never came back to life, but the panel lights did, showing a low-level boot-loop.
I tried to abort the booting process... no luck. Then I inserted the SD I used to upgrade to Android 10. Screen came back to life, Android 10 logo first, then showing the circle with the "preparing to upgrade" and then this:

ERROR:do_rk_firmware_upgrade-->GetFlashInfo failed!
Any idea how to recover from here?
This is related to the SOM firmware, right? not the MCU...
@marchnz Do you think that your USB on-the-go HW mod to connect a PC directly to the SOM would help solving this?
Any help is welcome !!!!

If SD card method doesn't work, double check the files used and SDcard.
If SD card just won't work, use OTG / PC-SOM
