I want to bring to notice the difference i found between 2 mobiles
1. usa made s22 ultra doesn't have call recording feature whereas Indian made has it.
2. Usa made mobile phone has special bandwidth chip on the lower right side crease which is not present on Indian mobiles.
3. Usa made phones have better coverage as compared to Indian units in basements and low network areas.

Bought an A71 5G on prime day $419.
It was described as "Unlocked A71 5G UW (VERIZON)"
The model number from the settings screen is SM-A716U1. It is working on Verizon with my SIM out of my Note9.
Just wondering if this is fully 5G compatible with Verizon since the model number ends with U1 not UW.
The buttons on the UW model for Verizon are supposed to be placed slightly different from the other models, reducing the availability of cases. The standard Supcase for A71 5G fits perfect and aligns with the buttons.
I have an official Verizon A71 5G UW model and in About Phone, my phone model is SM-A716V. Have you tried comparing/contrasting the available bands? Unless you live in a major city, you won't be able to know if you can pick up the UW bands or not.

Sound like you are in stock rom. Then, check your Setting->About phone->Software information->Baseband version.
If you have A716VSQS1BTK1 , then, you are in Verizon.
If A716USQU2BTJ3, then, you are Tmobile/Sprint, etc
For those on Verizon, I urge you to consider the A51 5G UW instead of the A51, even if you don't need 5G. I've helped several people setup their A51's and this has to be the slowest, buggiest phone I've used in awhile. Having also worked with the upgraded versions, I can tell you the difference between the Snapdragon 765G on the 5G UW and the Exynos on the 4G is huge. Also the 6 GB helps a lot for multitasking and games. Many people are looking for a solid affordable mid range phone, and I can say hands down the 5G UW model is worth the extra money. If you can get a deal, the S20 FE offers flagship level performance for slightly more.
My carrier just messaged me about their offer for all new Galaxy S22 models with 200€ off from the retail price for S22/S22+ and 250€ off for the S22 Ultra + free Galaxy Buds Pros. With this the S22 Ultra 128GB 5G model would be 1049€, 256GB 5G model 1149€ and the 512GB 5G model 1249€ (all of these are available for interest free payments up to 3 years and the phones are not being bootloader/carrier locked). Is this actually a good offer or should I pass it given that I live in the EU and the model I would get is going to be Exynos 2200 device anyway (which is most likely going to be not as good as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant)?
Hard to say with zero user feedback. Samsung has been having issues with many of their variable rate displays as are most of the manufacturers using this technology.
Right off the get there's no SD card so you better get the 512gb variant. The spen is in an awkward side unless you're a lefty.
You might want the larger Plus size if you want screen real estate to play with.
The Snapdragon question and what the heat sink differences might be if any will be only fully answered in the future.
Samsung should have another flagship release this fall. Personally the S22U isn't giving me any tangible incentives to own it over my N10+'s. Not even a wash; the tradeoffs outweigh the benefits for me.
The N20U was a close and tougher call to make.
2023 may be a better year to buy. I'm pacing it for 2023-2024 if I like what I see.
Both the N10+ and the N20U can be had at good prices. Used and new ones are available but be careful if you do as there's a lot of scamming is going on. The N10+ is still a great phone and both these Notes support up to 1tb of V30 rated storage. The new N10+'s come loaded with 10, the N20U's likely 11. I'm not concerned with updates but if you are factor that in; the N10+'s limit is Android 12, the N20U's is 13 maybe 14(?) I think.

I would say it depends on which device you come from.. If you currently have a Note 20 Ultra or S21 Ultra, I would wait a bit before committing. Last year I actually went from Note 20 Ultra to S21 Ultra (I know, stupid), and I regretted it at first but then loved it. If you are coming from an older device, then yeah go for it.

I just bought a S22 ultra from Samsung Australia online store with qualcom 8gen 1. I upgraded from note 9 which was rocking snapdragon 845. I used it with Optus network and I used to get excellent coverage with carrier aggregation with 4g ± now since I have put my sim in s22 ultra I have lost carrier aggregation. I WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED IF THIS $2000 phone can't do carrier aggregation. Please advise if anyone else is facing this issue. I have also noticed that the network reception is also less than note 9. When both phones are kept along side each other S22 ultra shows 2 bars and note 9 shows 4 bars.

Go for Wonda. I purchased mine there. Everything worked fine. Which Provider do you have? 5g works fine with Telekom.
About one year ago I bought a HK Version of a N20u at T-Dimension. That device was shipped from Europe, therefore no tax issues. The communication was good.
Just to tell you an alternative.
But one question: SD and Exynos are not that different this time, why taking the risk of VoLTE issues and more complicated warranty processing?

Based on my findings on the internet (YouTubers & Articles), the SD variant performs better on camera quality and battery life (especially in standby discharge).
I got my S9080 12GB/512GB from techinthebasket and it was cheaper than Wonda

Regarding standby discharge it is pretty hard to compare, but I also heard of a modem topic.
Regarding camera quality, some rare comparisons show slightly lower artefacts at SD devices, a bit less sharpening a.s.o.. But what kind of camera quality is really important for you? E.g. if you do not like less sharp edges due to misaligned lenses or other tolerance effects, you might think of buying several S22u devices and comparing the lens alignment and keeping only the best one. This would not really show solidarity to the shops, but it is possible within our local regulations (Fernabsatzgesetz).

I live in France and I bought the S9080 Snapdragon 12/256 version on the rakuten site. Delivered in 6 days, it works 10 times better than the exynos version that I tried for several days
