If this is still under warranty, might as well take it to the Xiaomi Service Center.
But just FYI, I have installed LOS on my X3 Pro and the time where it suffered a random boot was because there was an app that conflict with the system. Once I remove that app, no more random reboots.

Same problem happened to me as well, and changing the firmware fixed it. I think if you install the recommended firmware version for the ROM you want to download, it will be solved.

I have granted true caller access to pop up during the incoming calls. After that my poco starts to reboot automatically during a phone call and check in the true caller. Then I uninstalled the true caller now. I hope it will be fixed now!

You may have a buggy PMIC....
Go to a Xiaomi Service Center with stock and locked bootloader before it's too late

brick soon

I had the exact same problem, my phone (poco x3 pro) was rebooting randomly every 6-7 times a day. The problem was that the pmic was faulty-broken. After a week the device just froze in a grey screen and that was it. It got hard bricked. So i suggest to do a quick backup if your device is rebooting randomly because... It will brick soon

Ok, I had had this problem as well, the phone was bricked, sent it to service centre and came back after like 2 weeks. That was 9 months ago, now the phone is rebooting automatically as well. I've noticed some things tho, the phone wouldn't reboot if i was using the phone, like watching video, browsing, playing games etc. But it would restart if i kept it standby, i didn't notice it rebooting when i set it to charge, but it would reboot when i plugged it off. One more important thing, the phone won't reboot if i used it on safe mode, i used for like an hour or so, and it didn't reboot(maybe I'll need to check more)

It might be a tough pill to swallow, still, your phone is going to get bricked soon. Ive tired all most all solutions. Be it master reset, trying in safe mode, uninsatlling the recent update, clearing the theme manager. It had a mother board issue, thats y, poco india head extended its warranty from 12 to 18 months even after the production was stopped. you can check the twitter handle.the soc costs about 10.5 k , but the poco ASC are asking not to proceed.better opt for a new mobile.

faced the same issues... phone got bricked finally

G930F - crash bootloop issues

Hi everyone!
I have a international version of the s7 that I bought in France.
Since 1 week, my phones crash randomly and also every time I try to update or download an app on the store. It happens with two different roms (superman and galaxy project).
But not happy to only crashing, it also bootloop after it, sometimes during 20 minutes before booting correctly. And it makes the phone's temperature going up a lot. With all the issues with the note 7 heating and blowing, I fear for my s7.
Also, I can't just return it, because I'm not in France anymore, and it costs a lot to pay the taxes if I want to send it for a check (especially if they do nothing on it)
I was wondering if the cpu clocks on the roms has something to do with it.
If you have any suggestions, I'll wait for it.
Thanks

Hi
Do a factory reset , do not restore anything see if it works ok , if so then it maybe an app causing the problem
or you could flash a stock rom to test the phone and make sure there is no hardware issues
Thank you for your answer.
I'll take a try this weekend with a stock rom as I have the issue with 2 custom roms so far.
If anybody has other ideas until that, please let me know
Little feedback. I flashed the stock Samsung rom two days ago and it seems to work fine for now. But it was also quite fine with the custom rom at the beginning, so I will do another feedback after one or two weeks.
Well... The phone froze and rebooted 5 times in 10 minutes after trying to update some apps itself...
I had the same problem. At the end I was not able to boot Android. I had to claim my cell phone to seller. After one month it was repaired. The final verdict was SOFTWARE problem. They said that EFS was corrupted. One of Samsung firmware has bug which cause problem with EFS.
I also had that problem. I also had to send my phone to the repair center. In my case they replaced the mainboard.
I bought one early september and after two weeks it started doing just that. I tried everything, then sent it to the seller (ebay seller...) and the repair shop couldn't anything about it. I only got my money back yesterday. Back when I invesitgated the issue, nobody was talking about it. So since I liked the phone, I bought a new one from another place (less shady) yesterday... I now think I shouldn't have. Anybody knows more about this ?
Edit: I'm thinking that if I root the phone and backup the EFS and all sensitive partitions before starting using it (or even getting updates) I should be safe...
Yeah, that would be great, but your KNOX will be 0x1. So you will have problem to return this phone back with status 0x1.

Hello everybody,
Sorry for the very late reply. I actually sent my phone to another shop here in Japan. But this week, they send me a mail to say that they were not able to fix the issue. But still they taker me 50$ for the time...
I was thinking about buying a new one, but now that some of you are talking about an EFS issue, I'll try to fix again. I will look for some tutorial for that, but if you know how to procede, just reply here
Merry Christmas guys !
hello, i've been having a similar issue.
My phone would be fine for 2 weeks, maybe a month then Suddenly it would reboot to no end, it even reboots from TWRP.
It doesn't reboot while in Download mode. Then what i do to fix it is flash a stock rom from ODIN, sometimes the first couple or 5 times it will reboot during initial first boot up of this stock Rom. I would leave it alone for a while like half day then try it again in the evening or the next day.
Today for example, it started boot looping late last night and I installed Stock ROM with PIT FILE and Nand ERASE and Repartition ticked, boot loop, again, boot loop, tried it again, also rebooted before it started up to stock recovery and factory reset. Then it started up fine and has not rebooted so far.
But this has happened many times and it'll happen after 2 weeks or 1 month. When it does, i first go and delete cache and delvic cache to see if that would fix it, but it doesn't.
Right now it works, but for how long i don't know, when it works, everything is fine with the phone, no imei or calling or heating issues.
I can't guess whats wrong, is it really EFS that got corrupted but not fully but eventually its finding a problem and causing boot loops or something if that makes sense??

Spontaneous reboots

On current firmware: 9.5.20.0 and previous firmware I have spontaneous reboots every +/- 5 days,
so not really bad, but still ideally this should not happen.
Anyone any clue what the cause could be ? And possible fixes ?
around 5 weeks, no reboots here...
Same here, but worse: happens more than once per day. Could it be hardware issue? I'm thinking of doing a complete reset, and try it for a few days without installing any other app, just to test.

More than 6 weeks, tested global stock locked BL, unlocked BL, MIUI10 beta, MIUI10 xiaomi.eu... never experienced random reboots. I am sure of that since I have installed a widget (uptime widget) just to be sure that the phone does not reboot and I don't notice it.

Same here. No reboot. Now with miui 10 from Xiaomi.eu.
Can´t give you support. Another one with no problem regarding this whatsoever.
But it has to be real, since I saw this recognized by MIUI! Either they work on a fix or think to have it sorted out with 9.5.20.
Read/search change logs for more info on this.
Woke up this morning and the mix 2s did a spontaneous reboot again, however, was frozen in the "Android logo" (phone also very hot)
I rebooted and then everything was OK again. Uptime was 199 hours.
I googled a bit and it seems not a widespread issue, could not find any other forums where the problem is mentioned.
So maybe caused by a specific combination of settings / installed apps or something.
That sounds like a hardware issue, not software.
I have Mix2s since july. No reboots til yesterday, when I installed Xiaomi.Eu MIUI 10 stable. I'll try to clean flash everything.
I have random reboots too, its not often. Every week or so. Do you run dual sim?
MIUI 10 latest global stable 128GB variant
It happens everyday for me, couple of times a day, i don t understand why. It all started after miui 10 update. i tried going back to factory settings haven t solved the problem. I don t know what to do .

This is strange, I think battery is faulty.. or maybe there is app u r installing after reset the device that may cause this Everytime? Or you could send for warranty.
After reset the apps i installed
Netflix
Telegram
Insta
Reddit
Twitter
Hotstar
Nothing else
I see you have two SIM cards - try to remove them both or switch phone to airplane mode and see if it lags.
- is it rooted?
- is it default kernel?
- is it a beta version?
- is it global or EU?

Not a hardware issue.
You are running some application, that probably has a memory leak or an errant background process.
What did you install recently?
Nothing wrong with a reset every few days.

I guess there's a issue where all CPUs fire on All cylinders and cause some instability issue usually when flashing custom ROMs tho
Just take a minute out of your busy life to reboot while brushing your teeth in the morning...WOW was that hard...problem solved.

definitely not problem, but temporary solution is not a solutioon acc to m
I reboot my phone(s) every day...actually I am now able to turn mine off every night...so....same thing.
The result??? I rarely have any problems on any of the phones I have ever owned.
Android is NOT Windows Server which can be up 24/7 365 with few issues. But Windows Server is WAY more polished than Android as it has existed far longer in the enterprise environment. So for those of you who complain about issues...and never reboot...well...............
I just formated my Oneplus 7t pro. Restarted a few times after initial configuration.
Still there's lag when opening dialer, settings, and sometimes keyboard pops up a bit late.

Constant reboots and freezes

Hello, two months ago I got my 12gb oneplus 8t.
And recently been getting constant freezes and reboots. These normally happen when unlocking the phone and when I have some backround apps running like strava (but there are times, when there is basically nothing running in the backround). Out of all freezes only 1-5% are reboots. Out of all unlocks, 10-20% are freezes. What could be causing them? What's interesting that they started happening in 2020/12/10, when messenger servers were broken.
I tried to do a factory reset, but that didn't help.
My phone isn't rooted, I have yt vanced and I bought that phone from ali. I know a weird place to buy, but the price diferance was almost 200eur. But it isn't the "global version", where they ship a china rom oneplus to the EU, open the box and install the global rom.
Edit: I forgot to mention I am running the latest version of Oxgyen (the freezes didn't stop after the latest update). Am I the only one with these problems? Should I install lineage OS? As I quite like the launcher.

If a factory reset didn't solve the problem, may be it is a ROM issue. Try downloading the ROM again from OnePlus website and do a clean installation.
I'm also having the OnePlus 8T and never had such issues. There are bugs like screen yellowing randomly and others, but no freezing/ rebooting problems.

Ok, will try, thank you! I have the same yellowing screen issue, but as far I understand, it's somekind of bug with reading mode. (well I am just guessing). Because it happens only in google chrome.

That yellowing in Chrome is a Chrome issue. You have to disable 'Dynamic Color Gamut' under chrome://flags/.
I'm talking of screen yellowing throughout the device. It happens at random and is present everywhere.

Question Experiencing random restarts?

Is it only me or something common? (P7P)
I haven't had any, and my wife hasn't said anything about this happening with hers, either. We've had ours for two weeks today. I'm rooted, hers is with the bootloader still locked.
Have not had a random restart since I got the phone.
Alright, possibly one of the root modules is causing some problems. thanks for the info.
Rooted, no restarts.
I have been experiencing them regularly... Usually right after i try and make a call ...
This is the first time i ever saw something like this.... Does not inspire confidence!

Factory reset and use the phone with little to nothing installed and see if it still happens. If it does try a sim from another provider. If you still get them you have a faulty handset so RMA it.
I haven't experienced it with the Pixel 7 Pro but it happened sometimes with the 6 Pro.
Got one restarts just after freeze for 30 second twice. Rooted kirasakura kernel and despair both happen once
Hasn't happened once in the two weeks I've had it.
Well this is absolutely rediculous.. HORRIBLE support... Google Support wanted me to run the phone in SAFE MODE for a "a few days" to make sure it wasn'ty a third poarty app causing the reboots.. and if it still happens i will have to run around trying to find a service center to "look at the phone" eff that... Take itr back and i will go back to OnePlus or Samsung..... HORRIBLE first experience with a Pixel ... ABHORRENT
I still have one Day on my 14 day return window so i am returning the sucker and getting my money back.. I am not paying 1500$ CAD for a phone that randomly reboots when i try to initiate a call...
I had 1 random reboot during a VOIP call. Didn't notice it till my headphones told me they were disconnected, lol.
This was full stock, unlocked and rooted the day after.

How is that horrible support? 90% of the time it is user error. As a few post above mentioned. Wipe phone and try it with minimal apps installed. They want you to run it in Safe Mode for a reason, if still happens send it in or find a service center. I wouldn't call that horrible support.

Bare in mind this is probably thye first phone i have owned since my nokia days back in the early 2000's that is -NOT- rooted , bootloader unlocked or anything of the sort !(Yet)
I have my P7P now since the 13th of October and I had no random reboot during this time. Everything is running smooth and stable. My phone is not rooted.
I've only noticed phone crashes when using Android auto. When I try using apps that change the font and display size, that's when I run into reboots. My phone is rooted with multiple magisk modules

Just a data point: I haven't had any phone crashes when using Android Auto on the Pixel 7 Pro.
More specifically, whenever I change the screen to large screen on an app like Paramount Plus, or some other video viewing app. This is when I get the phone reset
