Hello!
Banking app 1
Banking app 2
I have been unable to find info whether these specific apps work on tripped Knox and would really appreciate it if someone checked them before I trip Knox myself. So if you
-Have a Samsung device, Knox tripped
-Can pass SafetyNet
-If rooted, can add these apps to your deny list if needed
Please check whether these apps refuse to open with root on and/or Knox tripped and if they work until they ask for login.
Many thanks in advance!!

How can I use my knox samsung with the root on the device s6, the time I did root it appears to be locked, there is a method that does not block my knox. I use it quite as desktop.
Since rooting the device trips the Knox counter, it also disables the Knox app which requires a secure environment in which to operate. So, rooting will definitely disable Knox.

This is not totally correct. There are ways to root our S6 keeping knox intact, even after updrading to 5.1.1 oficial firmwares.
Knox counter = 0 is not the only requirement for it to work, so maybe "rooted fom = No knox", but not beause of the knox counter.
Hey,
I tried some custom kernels but only Magisk make success fake knox 0x0.
I read that apps like Samsung Pay can easy recognise Magisk.
For now i have now only Magisk installed but Samsung Pay wont work.
Is possible to add to Stock Oreo ROM fake knox 0x0 without Magisk?
In resultat to have "Original STOCK ROM like before knox triped"
RE: Reset knox
Please note that there isn't a solid solution yet to reset knox. The best way is to change the motherboard or buy a new device instead. Since from Samsung Galaxy S5, samsung started influencing e-fuse technology to knox implement, knox reset isn't possible at all .
And you can find knox faked samsung firmware for your device in XDA. But even thou, you couldn't able to fake or make use on Samsung pay and Samsung pass. Those applications will verify both device status ( Custom binary or root privileges ) and knox status.
Hope this helps
Device status is easy to make Oficial by changing sysscope, only fake knox is difficulter because of Magisk it is with root.
I wanted to try make full stock with only knox mod without root ;]

You can't do it at all. The only way is to fake knox status by a custom kernel or modify the original kernel instead. But it's hard to modify / fake the original kernel to show knox 0x0. Because it has been encrypted and verify the original binary value in each boot. But you can give it a try..
Somehow on my S8+ with TWRP and custom ROM, KNOX isn't tripped unlike my S7 Edge. I've always thought that flashing custom recovery will trip KNOX. Any ideas why it isn't tripped? Mayby how to figure it out and reproduce?
Here's a screenshot from S8+
Some custom kernels will allow masking of Knox being tripped.
It is and apps that won't run with it tripped still will won't run. It is purely cosmetic...
did you try any other app to corroborate devcheck app finding?

I've just tried phone info Samsung from play store. Also reported as not tripped. Knox warranty void: 0x0
Can you recommend something else?
It could well be, as ultramag69 said earlier, that your custom rom is simply masking the fact that knox is in fact tripped. Try Secure Folder if it works
This is not a question for the Note 9 community.
To test, just try using something Knox related, like:
Secure Boot
Secure Folder
Samsung Pay
Samsung Pass
Could be related to SamFail but not sure.

Well if it would be reproducible I would root Note 9 so to me it was Note 9 related.
It's the ROM that is masking it as mentioned above :crying:
I was hoping sami f**** up
I am sorry for being dumb by post this questions, I want to root my S7 so i can install costume rooms.
My question is; does rooting can affect my device and make problems?
What is this whole thing about the Samsung Knox?
What is the simple way to flash rom white/out root?
If i want to restore my phone to the stock, it is possible to do it?
And what about the warranty is the warranty will become void?
Thanks in advanced.

I think about root
U will get a lot of articale on google about
advantage of root and disadvantages of root
About knox
If you root your device, you trip the Knox Warranty bit. Knox services do not run on devices that have tripped the Warranty bit, because this indicates a device is rooted and flashed with an unofficial Android build
But u can flash custom rom without root but when u will flash any custom recovery your will warranty not be valid
And i don't about
Is there any way to revert your warranty of u have triggered knox
But u can easily come to your stock rom
With root or without root

You must use Odin to flash twrp recovery, just watch on YouTube there are many useful videos about it. This is how you root your phone.
Yes it is possible to go back on stock Samsung rom by flashing stock rom from sammobile or updato site. Everything will be as it was before root except your Knox is void 0x1 and u cant use Samsung Pay ect.

Thanks for helping me out, one last thing; i have all my images on the samsung cloud and i found this thing: The following Knox services are affected if a Warranty bit is tripped.
Knox Platform for Enterprise
Existing Workspace's are permanently locked and the data is no longer accessible.
New Workspace's can't be created.
Knox Cloud Services
All Knox Cloud services stop working because they rely on a Knox license key to operate – For example, Knox Mobile Enrollment, Knox Configure, and Knox Manage.
Other Secure Samsung services
Samsung E-FOTA stops working.
Unique Knox security features stop working, such as Real Time Kernel Protection (RKP) , or Device Attestation.
Other Samsung Services that require Knox stop working – for example, Samsung Pay and Secure Folder.
If i will root my S7 all photos will be locked or removed?

I"d like to root my new phone before putting any stuff on it, but according to the Magisk installation guide using it will trip Knox.
Already knowing the unofficial software warning when rebooting from my current phone, this is a nuisance i"d like to avoid.
Sadly, the disable option for all Knox apps is inaccessible.
Does anyone know how to enable disabling them on the not yet rooted phone?
