Question Help! Network locked message on unlocked S908E - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Hi. I got my s22 ultra sm-s908e unlocked two weeks ago through Amazon. Everything was working fine until today when I realized I couldn't make any calls in the morning. I saw that on the lock screen on top it said network locked emergency calls only. I rebooted my phone and it got into the network again. But around ten minutes later it got back into network locked.
I have tried almost everything. Cleaning my sim card, resetting network settings, even re applying the network configuration message. Nothing.
The only thing I have done to it was flashing the XSG firmware since it was the latest one and in my country (mexico) the unlocked versions usually get updates really slowly.
Tomorrow I'm going to try to do a factory reset but I'm asking first to see if I ****rd up something or if my phone was locked somehow.
Hopefully somone can help me.

Just a suggestion: reflash original firmware for your device and see if it remains locked. Also check current lock status in settings --> Connections --> More Connection settings --> Network Unlock
There is PERMANENT UNLOCK and TEMPORARY UNLOCK. you may have been sold a phone that was not fully unlocked.
Flash original firmware and contact amazon customer service, advise that after updating and doing factory reset the phone appears locked, get a replacement or a refund.

S908E here, USA user, AT&T customer...
They locked my sim card out right after popping it in. Called AT&T and they said the phone is not on their supported list. Only U and U1 models. But they unlocked the sim card for me. This only affects my number, not the others on the same plan. So check your carrier if they also have such a list.

Unlocked my phone, sent for repair, cannot unlock?

Sorry for the double post guys, I meant to post here.
Ok, I purchased an unlock code and unlocked successfully. A few weeks later, I sent out for repair for GPS lock-on issues, and recieved the same exact phone back(s/n and IMEI's match). I am really not too sure if the phone is unlocked still or not but I don't think it is because I cannot delete the T-mobile APN which was the reason I needed it unlocked in the first place so I can use Simple Mobile.
I tried to unlock the phone by using the 2945#*999#, but when I enter the unlock code that I have purchased, it says unlocked unsuccessfully.
Does the unlock code change or stays the same always. If it stays the same, why am I having a problem? I tried inputting twice.

Once you unlock a phone it stays unlocked. Your unlock is probably unsuccesful as the device is already unlocked. Have you tried your simple sim in the phone. If it boots up without a carrier lock message and asking you ton input the code that confirms it is unlocked.
On the official T-Mobile GB rom, the T-Mobile APN will never go away regardless of whether the phone is carrier locked or unlocked. Mine has that but no biggie. Just create new entries for data and mss for your carrier, and click the radio button so that Simple Mobile's normal APN for data is selected. Then you will be good to go.
See photo below. Will look like that just with your carrier's apn instead of mine.

Well that is good to know that the phone is unlocked. I actually used to be able to delete the T-Mobile apn. Now I cannot delete it. But I can deal with the T-Mobile apn staying there but everytime I click the simple mobile apn, it keeps switching back to T-Mobile which is y I needed to originally unlock the phone in the first place. How do I keep the green dot on my simple mobile apn without it moving by itself every 5-10 minutes?
Search for my other thread for a solution to the Simple APN issue. It si because they use the same carrier ID as TMO. My solution fixes your problem.

[Q] Revert back to verizon from tmobile

Purchased an HTC M8 from a friend that seems like was flashed to T-mobile. I tried everything and various roms (revolution, viper, bonestock) and the stock vzw RUU to get the phone back to verizon. The APN file is still showing all t-mobile files in it.
Also if I go into settings>Network preference: It shows all european networks ie: vodafone UK ,Claro dom,JP DOCOMO, all GSM/UMTS.
I called verizon to verify the IMEI and sim and they both checked out to be verizon, so I know its a verizon phone. Has the VZW logo on the back also.
I cannot make calls or get any internet connection with it. Tried changing all of the network settings, replaced the sim card and so far no go. Can anyone point me in the right direction for some help.I have searching and tried various procedures for the past 2 days without any luck.
Strange thing is the 4G icon is there and when i try to connect to the internet the bars below it become active but I always get the same message: Cannot connect to the internet.
The phone is rooted, TWRP, S-off and CID 11111111 also.
Thanks for any help !

Check your IMEI number, settings>about>status http://swappa.com/esn use this site to see if its bad or not. If it is, the phone was probably reported stolen or the person who bought it didn't pay the monthly amount for the phone, so Verizon would have blacklisted it
I called verizon and first verified that is was indeed a verizon phone which it is and it is ok to be activated. I took it to the store an they tried a new sim card but it did not work. No phone calls or data
No matter what RUU or rom i tried flashing when I check the apns-conf.xml file in System>etc it always ends up having T-mobile settings in there.
I have it rooted, S-off, SuperCID11111111, and nothing has worked so far. Very frustrated as I have been working on it going on 3 days. But not all is lost. I have have learned a lot trying to get it fixed. I just might end up sending it in to HTCand have them fix it. Sure would suck to have a $400 paper weight
Thanks for the reply..
At boot time, Android determines the correct network configuration based on the MCC and MNC from the SIM card and automatically configure all network settings.
I have a verizon HTC One M8 (had my imei verified at a verizon store and esn was clean) with a new sim card and yet all of the files in my system>etc>apns-config.xml file are showing T-mobile.
Also in settings>Network Preference>all of the carriers are coming up vodafone, CLARO DOM, JP DOCOMO Swisscom and they are all GSM/UMTS.
Does anyone know why its not loading the proper files from my sims MCC and MNC ? This has been driving me crazy for the past 3 days trying to figure this out.
I flashed stock RUU and am s-off, unlocked, Super CID 11111111. Have no idea what is causing this.Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be GREATLY appreciated.
Well, Sent it in for repair. Told the Customer rep the phone was roooted, Rom'ed, CID'ed and that I never got to activate it.
So just waiting to see what happens and will post when I find out the verdict.
BTW, they could tell when I gave them the IMEI the day that the phone was rooted. Is that possible ? Sure came as a surprise to me. Gave the lady the IMEI # and after about 1 minute she came back on and told me the phone was rooted on May 1st. I have no idea if that is true because I have only had the phone for 1 week now.

Unlocking my Pantech Secret UP

Is it possible to fully unlock this phone?
I bought it on Ebay from a koreran seller.
It has an Alleh logo on the back and on start-up.
It is supposed to be fully unlocked, but it`s not.
When I turn on the phone with my main sim it gives an error message and network is blocked.
I know it is partly unlocked because I can use it with my other sim, but the reception of this network is pretty bad where I live.
So I really want it to work with my main carrier.
It is rooted.

No network on G930FD Galaxy s7

I brought G930FD galaxy s7 in Singapore during my deployment. It worked fine with other countries sim card. Now i'm back in US tried to use my phone with Verizon sim card
and it didn't work. I got signal but there is no network connection, only Emergency call pop up for a minute then gone.
I tried to adjust the APN but didn't work. Also my phone kept saying "Refreshing Sim Card" couple times. I did some reseach if it's actually region lock but I couldn't find a straight
answer for it. I wonder if this phone is really region lock. If not then what could be a problem for it?

From what I know, in order to unlock the region lock, you have to make at least 5 minutes of phone calls in the place you got it. At least this is how it is with the European version I have.
Now about the network issues, if it wasn't a carrier version then it should be unlocked, meaning you can put any Sim card.
My bet, since it's from another country, is that you have to call Verizon and ask them to let it in their network.
I don't believe the G930FD supports CDMA...it is a GSM phone. This is means no compatibility with Verizon or Sprint. You need the US version of the S7 (with the Snapdragon chip) to get CDMA support.

ATT data disconnected

I bought HTC U11 phone locked to sprint last week, unlocked and confirmed that it was unlocked.
Rooted the phone and installed VIPER ROM, I am presently using ATT in US, there is service, but mobile data shows disconnected.
I checked the access point details and discovered it was actually enabled.
I tried configuring it manually and no change at all
I tried with T-Mobile and shows connected.
I don't know why am having issue with ATT, I can make calls perfectly.
When you insert the sim card you should be prompted for network selection. Check you are using the correct apn settings as some carriers have different ones for different types of tarriff.
Failing that, speak to att. They might be aware of specific problems when migrating.

Hello I am new to this forum. I did a search and your post was first I saw. I bought an HTC 10 from a girl and went to put my Verizon sim card in and it says to contact Sprint for unlock code. Well I can't reach the girl who sold me the phone I can't root it if u could please help any advice would be appreciated. I have a hand written receipt from the girl but her #s disconnected. I've downloaded the twrp and super something also kingo root and can't get it rooted or get the s off turned on as it says s on. My email is [email protected] I'll check back as I said I'm new to this forum so still learning to use it. Sigh I have 2 other phones that a friend wanted me to fix. They did a hard reset and don't remember there Gmail set up with the phones. Right now this HTC is my main concern
So what are you trying to do, unlock simlock or root it?..
To root the phone you need to start at htcdev website and follow unlock bootloader. Then flash twrp then supersu. Bin kingoroot. It's crap.
Not sure you can manually unlock simlock. Might have to get the code off sprint.
