S22 Ultra, 512gb, Snapdragon; have this strange display bug and can't figure out what's going on. Looks like two small cutouts in the top right corner of the screen. What the hell is going on here? Anybody seen this before?
Do they move or disappear when your in landscape mode?
Are they present on the boot menu screen?

If present on the boot menu it's likely a hardware failure. Samsung QC should have picked that off...
Send it back.

Screen is all black at boot, so can't say for sure. However once my white wallpaper pops on the lock screen it's right there. Really bummed. It's going back.

You talking recovery? Mine is all black.
Boot to download mode and see if it's there. If it is it's hardware.
try to reset android cut out app, seems its software issue
That's definitely a damaged display. You'll need to contact Samsung or whoever you purchased it through, to get a repair/replacement.

See the attached screen shots and let me know if its a hardware or software issue. Its at the time of booting and after booting. The screen is scrolling continuously. But the touch is working.

It was due to display. Display was damaged. I did not get any reason so far. After seeing the vertical scrolling I flashed it with the stock ROM, after that as well, screen was like that. So went to service center. They changed the display and all working fine now.
Today, I turned on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge after charging overnight (my normal routine)... phone started its booting cycle so I let the dogs out. Came back to check for messages.... black screen... no matter what I've tried, can't get the screen to work.... folks at Verizon store referred me to a cell phone repair shop. The repair shop said it would cost $299 to replace the screen. Checking the FORUM to see if there's a fix other than buying a new phone... my phone has never been dropped or drowned. Any suggestions.... thanks.

Are you rooted? Are you able to access recovery mode?
If you are able to, your screen should be working fine. If not, could be a screen problem

unfortunately, i have no way of telling if it is or not because of the black screen... I don't recall installing any superuser software. I appreciate your effort to help, i've decided to purchase a note 8 as a replacement. Thanks again for your feedback & time.
Please help me, the middle of my screen on Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is not working, my cell phone has not dropped and is not hit anywhere. The battery went out and the cell phone turned off, when I turned it on the middle of the screen, it did not work anymore. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Wasnt ment angry A shoot right you are new here, that's why you cant post pictures or links.
So let me ask some more questions:
1. when your battery died, did that happend because the battery was empty or did it died while having a charge (20% left or something)?
2. can you still see something on the edges of the screen (like in the attachment)?
3. does it change if you press a little harder on the top side of the screen?
Regards

it happened because it was empty. The whole screen works, I see the picture completely, but in the center of the screen it does not respond the touch.

weird. I know you dont want to, but do a full backup of everything and perform a factory reset.
If that doesnt work, check vor little scratches or impact points in the no responsive area. Perhaps there is something brocken u didnt noticed? If you have a Screenprotector, get rid of it and try without.
If not, i would flash latest Firmware from here www.sammobile.com
and if that doesnt work, it looks like a hardware problem, and i would open up the phone and replugg all connectors related to the screen.
But if you still have warrantry, send it back before you do anything further than a factory reset.
Guys anyone please help me with it
It sometimes return back to normal state and goes back to this whitish screen. Is it a display problem. Should i need to replace the display. Has anyone got such type of issue..Please help me

Hey Guys n' Gals!
Question, has anybody had their primary screen malfunction?
Now when I fold my phone either open or closed, the screen sometimes goes black. After 1-2sec the screen turns on again.
Sometimes the screen also flashes in a bright yellowish or green color when it is being folded.
Anyone have these symptoms? Any fix? or is it a hardware issue?
Thats is EXACT issue i had, i sent it in repair but they could not fix it... but instead put a diffrent firmware on it or something

Most likely a hardware problem. Could be a lose connection or something more serious. Did you drop your phone or something before this started?
Take it to warranty asap

You'll have to get it checked at a good service centre. Let's hope it is a minor issue.

There is no way a firmware would resolve a hardware issue (if it was that)
