Hi,
- I've rooted my one+ One phone and have TWRP installed.
- I'm running Cyanogenmod 12.1. (Android 5.1.1)
- I have Xposed installed and Ifont with it's per-app module activated in Xposed.
I'm trying to do two things: 1. Change the system font. 2. Once the system font is changed, change the clock font back to the factory font.
Using Ifont, I successfully change the system font. However, I am unsuccessful at changing the clock font back to default android font or any other fonts without soft-bricking the phone after reboot. In Ifont, I go to per-app function. I select the clock app and change the font family to the default android font. But once I reboot, the phone gets stuck at the Cyangenmod boot logo. Luckily, I have a back up which I restore afterwards. I have tried with the google clock app as well as the Chronus widget.
Could anyone help me achieve this step by step or is this not possible to do. I have tried different things I found on the internet but none work or don't apply to me.
Thank you very much.
Heys guys i have ported S6 Marshmallow system ui for our tab 4
Instructions to install
1. Delete Systemui.apk from priv app
2. Copy S6 System ui to priv app
3. Change permissions
4. Go to App settings (xposed module)
5. Search for sysytem ui in app settings
6. Give the settings like shown in image
7. Tap on save
8. Reboot and Enjoy
DONT USE!
Do not use this. This will break the system ui for your tablet and you will have to factory reset it. Yes I have the 7.0 inch model. The T-230. If it isnt compatible, you should mention it.
The background stays black even if the the notif bars in the themes are white/blue/etc. If you guys could provide me with a solution that would make my day.
Details:
Huawei gr5 2017, emui 5.0, android 7.0
Build # BLL-L22C636B360
Have you been able to sort this out? I've been also trying to change the colour of the bar, both with themes from the Theme Store and by trying to modify a theme with EMUI Theme Editor but was unsuccessful.
You have to root your device. Then, with a root explorer, go to /system/emui/lite/prop , find local.prop and modify the "true" value in ro.build.hw_emui_lite.enable=true for "false". Then reboot and you can full theme notification bar.
Thank you, unfortunately that didn't work. Modified it, rebooted, changed theme to one with modified bar, rebooted again but still stock notification bar. Is it possible, that the emui theme editor just isn't (fully) compatible yet with nougat/emui 5.0?

I've just tried the emui theme editor app and it seems that background colour can't be changed. I guess it isn't fully supported yet. You can get a theme with the panel that you like and then modify it.

I'm using a different device, the P8 Lite 2017 on EMUI 5 and Android 7.0..i tried this trick, but it doesn't work. Im not even talking about the Theme Editor, just the normal themes for EMUI 5, and all they change are the App Icons, wallpaper, and lock screen wallpaper. A bit off topic but still, EMUI 5 theme issue..you guys got them to work correctly?
Sadly, I haven't found a solution to this minor glitch. Though I saw a potential solution. I'll update you guys if it works.
i was having a same problem with default theme app, try different themes or try this:
download this app from playstore
Themes Manager For HUAWEI EMUI, try a justice league theme and apply. If it works then you should be all set, its just the bug with theme which you have downloaded.
I made a mistake: accidentally applied a theme, which contains iOS emojis - but this theme is compatible with emui 5, and I'm on 8.0.
All the emojis disappeared and I have no clue how to get it back.
I don't have root access, because of some banking apps.
How can I get back them?
Edit: I found a theme with Oreo emojis and with EMUI theme editor I could put the emojis into my theme I use.
Hello
I bought the phone because it is compatible with a medical app. This app only works with Android 9. If my phone upgrades to Android 10 the app will not work anymore.
I just got the notification that a the new version of Android 10 is available to install.
What steps I took so far:
1. I have disabled the Auto download over wifi option.
2. From developer options I disabled the Auto update system (Apply updates when the phone restarts.)
The notification disappeared for now when I chose to remind me later.
What other steps I need to take to be sure it wont upgrade?
Is there an app I can install to block this?
