Hello!
Are there any ROMs for this phone with working 5G? Official update doesn't seem to work. Should I wait for official update? Kinda annoying since I bought this phone half a year ago mostly because of 5G.

Hi all. I haven't been able to update my phone since I bought it last week. It keeps coming up with system update failed I bought the phone from EE in the UK. I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem?
Are you trying to do an OTA or local upgrade? , is your bootloader unlocked?, what version are you updating to?
I have tried both local and OTA but no joy. I'm trying to update to 9.5.3. I've spoken to ONEPLUS support but they are as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.
I'm having the exact same issue too. I'm also on EE. Will it be a problem for this update only or all updates going forward?
So I spoke to oneplus support again and this time they gave me a better answer.
As we have the 5G variation of the phone we have to wait for another update as the ones that are getting pushed out now aren't for the 5G variation.
I guess we just have to play the waiting game!
Ahh ok. Thanks for the help mate. Saves me panicking thinking that I have to take my phone back ?? I'll just sit and wait now ?
I have the 5g model from ee and had an update when I first set the phone up.
I am on 9. 5.3
Just waiting for the big update with all the improvements .
I gather the .7 one that's about is just for the standard pro?
Really? I'm still on 9.5.1 and I'm unable to update to 9.5.3. Something weird going on!
Anyone know how long the deal between op and we for the 5g exclusively is?
Seems like we won't get updates as quick till we can put stock aka non-EE oos on ...
Fast software updates were one of the main reasons I got a op7 pro 5g should have known about EE lol
Hi , first time ever posting in a forum.
I'm having this issue with my unlocked Galaxy A51 (bought from a carrier here in Argentina called Claro, but still unlocked because i'm using other carrier rn) when two months ago I saw everyone here posting about April update that came with One UI 2.1, some days later that update vas available to download but it didn't come with the Interface update and some days ago a friend of mine bought himself a Galaxy A51 from Samsung's page and it came with One Ui 2.1 and April update. I tried looking for updates on Smart Switch but nothing came up. I want to mention that even if the phone is unlocked it still comes with the carrier's bloatware and services and when the device boots it shows the carrier's logo.
I'm guessing the carrier didnt release the interface update but it's been 4 months and calling customer's service isnt helping.
My question is : Is there any way to change my phone's software for it to be a completely carrier free phone (without bloatware and carrier's boot logo)? It's possible to force the update?
Info about my device:
SM-A515F
Current version A515FXXS3ATD2/A51FOWA3ATD1/A51FXXS3ATD2
Sorry for my bad English and Thank You in advance.
so you have the April version! As of two days ago the August version was released, you can download it manually from https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a51/firmware/SM-A515F/CTI/
When I turned on my Galaxy S10e without the SIM to set it up, it received the August 1st security update. One of our other S10e on Tmobile (but in use without a SIM) already received the One UI 2.5 update back when it was released at the beginning of Oct. Somehow, this phone has not received it yet. How do I know my phone is configured correctly to receive OTA from Tmobile? And how would one check if their phone is getting OTAs from Samsung or their carrier?
When I look here, it doesn't specifically list the One UI 2.5 update, but, like I said, one of our Tmobile phones got the update.

You can use Odin and frijA or samfrew to get the latest firmware. And flash it manually. If they Are byod sometimes they can be finicky on updates
Hi there. Recently purchased an LG V600am and have just learned it is not getting updates whilst not on the at&t network.
I'm in Australia so that's not possible.
Is it possible to flash the v600am to a regular v60?
I'm guessing no and the v600am is pretty much a dud for anyone not with at&t.
No, maybe in future
If it's running fast and stable, let it be.
AT&T updates tend to break phones
My AT&T 10+ is still running well on Pie and hasn't been updated in 1.5 years. Last reload was over a year ago, still fast and very stable.
Security simply isn't an issue unless you do something stupid... lol, I've tested it extensively.
