Hi,
So I wanted to unlock my phone's bootloader, but I can't for some reason, I use an unofficial tool called XiaoMiTool V2 and it keeps giving "Failed ADB execution" error, so is it because of the MIUI version? Can my phone roll back its MIUI version back to the OOB version (MIUI 9) if I factory reset it?

Hi, How do I downgrade from stock unrooted 10.3.4 to 10.3.3? Can I simply install the full OTA file via local upgrade? The reason is that I'd like to install Resurrection Rom which is needs 10.3.3 as base. Of course, I'll root the phone once it's on 10.3.3.
Also, the ROM page says I need to install OOS on both slots on TWRP. How do I do this? I'd assume that if the device on stock OOS from the start, that would mean that OOS is on both the slots. Isn't this so? Pls help
Back up your data, download the full version on oxygen updater, delete all in twrp so that 0000, connect to pc to add the 2.3gb OOS, go back to flash. It will flash OOS official both slots and you will go back to stock, you can root and twrp with tool all in one after back on stock. If that for someone reason doesn't work try the fast boot rom in tool all in one, recovery firmware, delete all option. I have done this option before to lock bootloader back

Hi,
I would like to know if anybody encountered this. This is my second time encountering this issue. I was on 12.0.4 and received a notification to perform update to 12.4.0. After downloading and rebooting, my twrp launched and after a few seconds instead of flashing, it went to the main menu page. After that, the phone just goes to fastboot mode and refused to boot. My phone has been rooted with magisk. Much appreciated for experts inputs.
The only way for me to boot my phone is to do a clean flash using mi flash tool and fallback to the old version...
Thank you.

V12.0.4.0.QJKMIXM is a android 10 stable rom and V12.2.4.0.RJKMIXM is a android 11 stable beta rom which has many bugs.
V12.2.4.0.RJKEUXM is a stable rom that you can flash with miflash(but EEA not global).
After successfully going to v12.2.4.0, now I am finding that my current TWRP 3.4.1b unable to decrypt the phone thus not able to root it. I guess I have to fall back to 12.0.4.0 to be safe... I was tempted to go to 12.2.4.0 due to android 11 but looks like it's too problematic now due to beta. I was actually wondering why beta was pushed to me.

You are not the only one, many users have reported this problem to XDA and c.mi.com
Try xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK30Pro_V12.2.2.0.RJKCNXM_v12-11 better than stock and on android 11.

Now it is a stable rom https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/lmi/stable/V12.2.4.0.RJKMIXM/
seems to be the same
Try flashing stock recovery before performing ota update. Flashing ota via twrp cause /storage inaccessible for me.
Thanks, so you updated with stock recovery without issues but are you able to flash twrp with the updated rom?

Is that the most stable android 10 based on miui? I'm thinking about downgrading to many android 11 bugs on 12.2.4.0 global

Yes i am able to successfully flashed twrp via fastboot afterward and directly proceed to root using magisk.
Everything works as usual, except, for me atleast, twrp now require pattern-type (3x3 dot) as password for decryption. Pin or character doesnt works.
Deleted.
To solve update problem you need to Rollback to stable stock rom, I used this:
Code:
lmi_global_images_V12.2.4.0.RJKMIXM_20201228.0000.00_11.0_global
extracted it.
then used mi flash from this toolkit:
Code:
mi-globe.com_Xiaomi_MiFlash_Pro_EN_5.3.1104.39.exe
sorry, but I cant provide links to downloads.

This is nothing new. With the bootloader unlock you can flash any version of stock rom with miflash.

Successfully updated to 12.2.4.0. However, my nova launcher has been 'uninstalled' after this upgrade and I am unable to reinstall it with install fail error coming up. I am installing from apk. Anybody has this issue?
Hi,
i want to go back to stock rom and re-lock the bootloader.
I tried to flash the fastboot rom "lmi_eea_global_images_V12.5.1.0.RJKEUXM" via MiFlash (2018.5.28.0), but it failed because of anti rollback.
Current installed rom is xiaomi.eu weekly 21.7.28 (miui 12.6). TWRP is also installed.
Whats the right way to get back to stock?
Thanks

@NOSS8
perfect, thanks!
Hello, so I launched windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format instead of only the update.bat while already on latest stock ROM with Android 12 when installing Xiaomi EU rom. There were some write errors, cmd window just closed. Now I can't install anything. I am in bootloop, I can get into fastboot. But I can't even flash official stock rom using flash_all bat, it always ends up in writing error. What do I do? Thanks!
Code:
https://ctrlv.link/Rlbv
Edit: Fixed, XiaoMiTool V2 by Francesco saved me, I used it's unbrick device option, flashing went through and now I am back on stock android 12. But where did I go wrong? I watched youtube video and guy launched first_install bat file and it went through, but mine did not? Is it because version are slightly different? My stock rom is V13.0.1.0.SJUEUXM and Xiaomi EU is V13.0.3.0.SJUMIXM, is this a problem? Thanks!

Global EEA ( europe ) : SJUEUXM
Global : SJUMIXM
I think because the bootloader was not unlocked before trying to change the firmware to another region
Hello,
Just got a Oneplus 9 today. Installed Jaguar to try it out. Wanted to go back to stock to compare a few things.
I grabbed the "stock" files and tried to flash using this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/fastboot-rom-pc-required-op9-stock-oos-11-2-2-2aa.4275727/
This bricked the phone.
I was able to restore the phone via MSM using the Indian one (lemonadep_22_I.07_210412), but in OxygenOS it states the Phone is a 9 Pro.
I tried flashing the STOCK file again just to see (since I now know I can recover in EDL), but it bricked the phone again.
This allowed me to confirm that for Global LE2115, the European MSM (lemonadep_22_E.05_210324) also works to restore the device!
Unfortunately again, it says the Phone is a 9 Pro.
How would I proceed if I wanted to return a LE2115 to stock and relock the bootloader?
Thanks

Copy pasta:
To get back to global firmware, flash this in the local upgrade tool.
https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OnePlu...all_2107082125_downgrade_059624cc7298428b.zip
It is the global downgrade package. It will wipe your phone and when it comes back, you will be back on global software.
After you flash that, go to OTA upgrade and it will say it's going to download C.48 but it will actually install 11.2.10.10 and then you will have the latest OOS11.

Can confirm this works!
I used the unnbrick tool from one community server and restored my one plus 9 5g 2115.to stock and locked the bootoader. But I could not get to install any rom because it always took me to crash dump. Hope it helps to get back to proper version for you
