I am facing this problem (for a week or so now) where the selfie photos with the inverted phone orientation (upside down due to bottom placement of camera) are saved in the original orientation (as if there was no rotation of phone).
The rotation sensor works fine during the capture and the interface of camera (xiaomi and gcam) also rotates. But it doesn't show in the saved picture.

I've only taken a few photos so far, all in landscape orientation. All except one have appeared in landscape orientation in the viewer. One of them, however, turned into portrait orientation. I fixed it using the WM "Pictures and Videos" application to rotate it, but I don't know why that happened.
Hi everyone, sorry for my bad english.
Found this strange bug in ViperS 5.1.0. If screen auto rotation is disabled, then default camera correctly response to changing phone orientation (pic. 1).
But if Auto Rotation is enabled, then in landscape orientation camera works on portrait mode with black borders at the top and bottom of screen (pic. 2).
I was trying to change auto rotation angles in Venom Tweaks (pic. 3), but bug still appears.
May be someone knows how to fix it? Search in development forum gave nothing.
When taking a selfie, I cannot seem to tap to focus on the screen. Instead, it starts to count down to take a picture. Is there a setting to disable that and do tap to focus instead? This only happens when using front facing camera.
Thank you,
Yes, swipe to the left while the font camera is active, and turn off "touch to capture". Those settings are specific to the front and rear cameras, and out of the box it's enabled for the front camera.
Thank you! Dont know how I missed that. Appreciate it
Camera app doesn't seem to auto-rotate pictures in landscape mode. I've noticed that in other apps as well
I have autorotation disabled (via Quick Panel Tile) on my S908B but have noticed that some apps still rotate.
For example, Zoom rotates from portrait to landscape to both left and right.
Star Wars Heroes (game) is always landscape but rotates by 180° depending on which way I turn my phone.
I had a Note 8 before the S22U and disabling autorotation meant that apps didn't rotate unless they were landscape only, and those apps only rotated in one direction.
Is this normal on the S22U?
