I got a the phone recently and it's got this weird problem that I couldn't find mentioned anywhere.
Sometimes Bluetooth just randomly won't turn on, I tap the Quick Settings icon and it does nothing, if I go to settings it appears to turn on but if I pull down the Quick Settings or go back and into Bluetooth again it shows that it's off.
All of this goes away after a reboot, Bluetooth turns on and the phone connects to devices without issues, it also doesn't drop the connection but if I leave it off for a while, when I try to turn it back on again it sometimes just won't turn on again until I reboot.
Do any of your devices have a similar issue?

Try clearing the system cache.
Try resetting network connections.
Turn off all power management.
If you've done a major firmware update it's factory reset time...
No power saving mode is enabled and the A52 just launched with Android 11 and One UI 3.1, there's no major update to do.
I just wiped cache, while I was in the recovery I repaired apps just in case and I reset network settings for both SIMs, we'll see if that works, thanks!
UPDATE:Yes, it appears this fixed the issue. I have been able to enable Bluetooth without issues since I cleared cache even after days of it being off.

After rebooting my phone earlier today my wi-fi has been stuck on, yet shows as off in QuickMenu and Comm Mgr. Any attempt to "turn on" the switches fail, even turn off option in wi-fi set up dialog does nothing. Can anyone help me?
EDIT: I also noticed now that any command to reboot the phone, along with standby (yes, even my top button), and power off commands are not working either.
EDIT2: It also now seems the screen will not rotate when the keyboard is slid out. I'm beginning to think my only option is to do a hard reset, and I'd REALLY rather avoid that...
EDIT3: AND it thinks it's charging...
EDIT4: Also all of my buttons don't work...
thats weird
my touch pro is doing just the opposite..... i can't turn off the wifi, the "switch" is grayed out to the point that it will not let me turn it off
wierd, does a soft reset not work? Never seen that before...
Have you altered anything recently or added an app that could be causing compatibilty issues?
i have a completly standard optimus 3d with version 10d on vodafone. i was using the phone at work and turned off the wifi as there is no wifi there. came home and turned it back on and all im getting is ''wifi - turning on...'' in the settings, i have tried data erasing which did not work and also i updated from 10b to 10d and it is still frozen, wifi works fine on my parteners 3d and both laptops. any advice as this is driving me crazy
I've got the same problem with wifi and bluetooth. Rebooting the phone solved my problem

how did you re-boot, step by step lol
okay, hard reset un froze it, but whenever i try to turn wifi on it freezes again, it can be reset by turning off then on again and will allow me to turn wifi on, but i press the button and it freezes again, ideas anyone
Go to settings/wireless & networks/wifi settings and press the menu key. then choose advanced and change the wifi sleep policy from "when screen turns off" to "never"
Pete
turned phone off and on to unfreeze it, done as you said and changed to never, turned on wifi and it froze again, says ''wi-fi turning on'' its greyed out and doesnt change
Sounds like you have a bad or corupted file. Try a factory reset AFTER you save all you photos etc.
If that don't fix it you may have a faulty phone.
Settings/privacy/reset
Be warned this will erase everything so back up your stuff first!

I have identified the culprit, but I have not been able to find a solution.
As I said, my screen will not timeout. I have to manually hit the lock button to turn the screen off. Also, the softkeys stay lit. I started going through app settings, etc. No luck. I began to notice after reboots and battery pulls that it only started occuring after I entered mode (*#0011#) to fix the wifi disconnect issue.
After doing that, the screen will no longer timeout. So, at this point, I either have to deal with wifi turning off and on randomly, or a screen that won't go dark on its own.
Can anyone help?
Hey guys,
Somehow my phone is stuck forever in airplane mode. I have tried flashing multiple ROMS, going back to fully stock, even with a locked bootloader or without custom recovery. But somehow the problem still stays. I seriously don't know how this even started.. I knew for sure it was the airplane mode's fault when I wanted to call some kind of number for the radio settings, but I got a message saying I had to turn airplane mode off.
But, it is not even turned on anyway. Now what? Help is appreciated guys!!
Edit3: When pressing on the power key, when you get the small menu it shows me that (while no simcard in) airplane mode is constantly turning on and off, I also get a constant repeating/flickering notification in my status bar.
I also tried using my sister her simcard, but it gives the same result. But, my simcard works in her phone. I was able to use 3g etc.
I have exactly the same issue. It appeared today after being away for a few days and having my phone on airplane mode + Wifi the entire time. I have tried flashing back to stock w/full wipe and reflashing radio. In *#*#4636#*#* menu I see that radio is "off". See screenshot attached.

hello friend plz help.....i have the exact same issue...wat did u do
Phone: Pixel 3a
This sounds like a very specific problem I have, however I can't describe it with any other words. Usually, I turn on airplane mode before I go to bed. Almost every morning, when I deactivate airplane mode, the phone freezes completely and I have to do a hard reboot with long pressing the power button.
I am running Android 11 with the latest update. The problem, however, started with the first Android 11 update. There were no such weird problems happening on Anroid 10. I even did a clean flash of the system rom, which did not fix the problem. When I wiped the internal storage as well, it worked for about two days, but now I am back to the freezing.
I still have warranty on the phone and thinking about RMAing it, because I can't find any other person having this problem.
The weird thing is that the freezing does not happen, when airplane mode is only turned on for a short time. Like, right now, I could turn it on and off without a problem. You see, I am a bit lost and don't know what to do!
And maybe something to add: When I turn off airplane mode in the morning, I am able to receive messages for a split second before it freezes completely. When I do a reboot, these messages are just gone. So, they are not getting saved properly I guess ... Really annoying.
What happens if you turn airplane mode on, use another phone to send a few messages to yours then turn off airplane mode?

It works like normal. It annoys me that I can't really reproduce this issue right now, but I believe it has something to do with the reconnection to the mobile network. Maybe it could even be a mobile provider related problem? But that is just a wild guess ...

Press power then keep pressing on "restart" and activate safe mode. Check if the problem persists for a week in safe mode. If it doesn't then an app you're using is probably the origin of the problem.

Thank you, I am going to try this then.
EDIT:
Seems like the Battery Charge Limiter app from the play store was causing the problem. It worked well with Android 10, but not so well on Android 11.
