[BOOTLOGO] Stylised "Redmi Note 5" text - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Themes, Apps, and Mods

Just flash attached ZIP via custom recovery. Made by this utility.
Remember, that installing MIUI update or new firmware may overwrite bootlogo.
Also attached default logo if you want to revert.
BTW check default "Mi" splash without "Unlocked" text

Awesome

thanks for sharing

@Bonoboo why double threads?
[BOOTLOGO] Default "Mi" splash without "Unlocked" text
Simple default splash without annoying useless note about unlocked bootloader. Also Pie firmware include splash with incorrect proportions, it's vertically stretched. But this is with normal dimensions. Made by this utility. UPD: reulploaded...

Because splashes are different.
I think better to have separate threads in this case.

Startup Splash Screens...

Is there any way to actually pull all three of the existing startup splash screens off the Wizard? Would like to pull them off, edit them, and put them back on again. I know how to do the latter, but cannot locate any directions (if it is even possible) on how to pull them off into an editable format.
Thanx.

I don't think that's possible. Not sure dough. I tried it, but you cannot restore properly splashscreen 1 and 2

So, the only way to fix a problem on the first splash is to start all over and reflash it?
Thanx.

yes, of that I'm sure
My little contribution.
I hope you like it.
Safe for use with G4 and G3.
Enjoy.
Run the update utility as always. It will only flash the boot screen.
Best Regards.

That's all fine and dandy. However, I am looking to edit my own screens that I've already flashed to the device. I was hoping there would be a way for me to extract them back off so I could just change a little something. I guess that's what I get for not saving a copy, eh?
If you want.

Thank you for the offer, but I already know how to flash the screens to the device. I was just trying to extract an existing screen from my ROM so I might edit it and then re-flash it.
I have to give the forum props though...so many peeps all wanting to help out. Thanx.

Nice work there. I like it
yea this is nice im using this one
Here's a couple of screens that I think may be what you are looking for (or very close). One is the HTC Logo (but its bigger than whats in the Faria and nottoosmart roms). The other is the Black screen with the world and the Windows logo over it.

I've tried it and I can only see the file on my device with that rom! I can't view the file on any other rom and my pc. The 3 splash screens, as far as I know can cut back to two. You can have the same splash for both but its the same pic twice.
update 4-10-2007
Finally got pic to be seen on pc. I wanted to change the 3rd or welcome secreen so I renamed my pic and replaced what was already on my device. It works but not in landscape, no big deal...I don't boot with my keyboard open anyways.

ok you can do this but not in the exact way you specified.
The way i did it is to take the rom that has the splash screens in it and dump it, I used Molski.biz rom tools, I won't go into detail about dumping a rom. use typo5.exe
then i used bcl.exe to extract the .nb files into bmp
I am not going to do a step by step here that is the general idea.
I don't know how to get a rom off a phone but if you have the rom that you put on the phone dump it and grab the splash screens from it.
the tools i used are in molski's devpack
btw the 3rd splash screen is a png file in the rom with some stupid name it is um welcomehead.96.png and it is actually a perfect 320 square so that it will load nicely in both portrait or landscape mode
I attached a Scarface splash screen I made using the HTC logo extracted from splash screen one of one of the newer roms

I am a newbie. How do I know whether my phone is a G3 or G4. I am using Dopod 838. Can someone show me how to change the boot screen and to use the update utility safely.
Thanks in advance.
Go read the wiki.
To tell the difference between a G3 and a G4 wizard, you must look at the IPL and SPL versions. To find out what IPL/SPL version your Wizard has, turn the device off and back on. At the first splash screen, the IPL and SPL versions will be written in red at the top of the screen.
A G3 Wizard will have the following IPL: 1.xx or 2.xx or 2.xx.00x (Note that this version only has TWO 0's.).
SPL: 1.xx or 2.xx or 2.xx.00x (Note that this version only has TWO 0's.)
A G4 Wizard will have the following IPL: 2.xx.000x (Note that this version has THREE 0's.)
SPL: 2.xx.000x (Note that this version has THREE 0's.)

Quick bit of advice on Splash Screens!

Hi All
Hopefully a quick one this...
I am getting more into customising my device and am planning to hack my own ROM at some point onto my device. Starting off with some UC components which are working well, but I would like to learn more about how splash screens work on the kaiser.
I have successfully managed to replace the very first splash using a custom .NBH file and RUU, but would love to learn (if) how I can do the others. For example my current ROM which is Duttys displays the animated HTC logo with the custom wording on it "Dutty,s Series" AFTER the one I have flashed to my device. It then displays the green Windows Mobile Splash before finally getting to the OS GUI.
Is it possible to either remove or replace these two screens at all?

I think one of them is welcomehead.96.png and one is called animated.gif. Both in \Windows\
You have to enable the animated one (there's a setting in scahps Advanced Config for this).
This been asked and answered wery many times, whit some searching you can find it all and more...
The first one is startup animation wich you find in the register:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\StartupAnimation]
"GIFFile"="\\Windows\\animated.gif"
Click to collapse
The file can be of variouse names, animated.gif, animated1.gif or something completly diffrent so look for the one unders GIFFile.
Click and refresh for animation
The secound is the splashscreen wich is under
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Splash Screen]
"CarrierBitmap"="\\windows\\welcomehead.96.png"
Click to collapse
Also that name can be diffrent..
For an easy way use Advance Config Tool By schaps and SEARCH before asking.
Good luck.

Default Boot/Splash screen

I recently went from Hyperdragon III series to another ROm and all is well except the first splash/boot screen which still says Hyperdragon.
Is there a complete package (ie "flasher" and default boot screen in one) that I can download somewhere?
I tried searching the forums but all I find are custom ones. I just want to go back to the old HTC one.

g1 bootloader question

alright i installed something stupid on my g1 in an atempt to unlock the phone. it modified my bootloader and now when i turn it on it displays the t mobile g1 screen for like a second then displays a black DNA picture, then boots normaly.
i want to remove this image so i was thinking about reinstalling the bootloader, how do i know what one i have so i know what to replace, and should this be the right path to take
things i do know
im using cyanogen
im drc83 (idk what that means)
First this prob belongs in the Q&A section. Some more details about what exact file you flashed would help
my apologies, im new to the forums. i will admit it was a stupid decision to try this in the first place,
i have a url but it wont let me post it. that is where i got it from
If it displays just that picture & then boots normally your fine. I don't have the original splash file, but just look up how to use custom splash screens & find the original file & flash it. Boom, back to normal

Need help with Boot Splash Screen

I flashed a Hulk boot splash screen from the Marvel theme thread. I need my phone back 100% stock so I flashed latest firmware with odin. To my surprise the hulk splash screen is still present. I did some digging around and think i need to replace the Param.bin. Does anyone know how to do that, and where i can get one?
