Default Boot/Splash screen - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

I recently went from Hyperdragon III series to another ROm and all is well except the first splash/boot screen which still says Hyperdragon.
Is there a complete package (ie "flasher" and default boot screen in one) that I can download somewhere?
I tried searching the forums but all I find are custom ones. I just want to go back to the old HTC one.

Changing 2nd splashcreen wm6

Hi there,
I finnaly got it to work yesterday... Installed wm6 on my MDA vario... I still got the splashscreen from Molski.biz when booting... The second boot/flashscreen is the standard Wm6 screen.
I changed my first boot screen with another splashcreen... But dont find anything regarding changing the 2nd boot/splashscreen... !!!
Can someone tell me how to change this screen? (so, not the one with the Os numbers in it!!)
thanks allot......
Changing 2nd splashscreen wm6
I use Boot Screen Manager 1.0. It's Free-ware from PDATOPsoft.com.
thanks will try that aswell
You can easily build your own RUU installer for just the splash screens. I've done this a few times myself and its very easy with this set of tools and instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=284006
I'll have to check out that freeware thing mentioned above, but the forum link I gave will step you through changing all 3 splash screens.

Quick bit of advice on Splash Screens!

Hi All
Hopefully a quick one this...
I am getting more into customising my device and am planning to hack my own ROM at some point onto my device. Starting off with some UC components which are working well, but I would like to learn more about how splash screens work on the kaiser.
I have successfully managed to replace the very first splash using a custom .NBH file and RUU, but would love to learn (if) how I can do the others. For example my current ROM which is Duttys displays the animated HTC logo with the custom wording on it "Dutty,s Series" AFTER the one I have flashed to my device. It then displays the green Windows Mobile Splash before finally getting to the OS GUI.
Is it possible to either remove or replace these two screens at all?

I think one of them is welcomehead.96.png and one is called animated.gif. Both in \Windows\
You have to enable the animated one (there's a setting in scahps Advanced Config for this).
This been asked and answered wery many times, whit some searching you can find it all and more...
The first one is startup animation wich you find in the register:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\StartupAnimation]
"GIFFile"="\\Windows\\animated.gif"
Click to collapse
The file can be of variouse names, animated.gif, animated1.gif or something completly diffrent so look for the one unders GIFFile.
Click and refresh for animation
The secound is the splashscreen wich is under
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Splash Screen]
"CarrierBitmap"="\\windows\\welcomehead.96.png"
Click to collapse
Also that name can be diffrent..
For an easy way use Advance Config Tool By schaps and SEARCH before asking.
Good luck.

Missing Flash Screen After Flashing

So, somehow I lost my "Touch Pro" Splash Screen after flashing my phone with the RomeOS rom, all i get now is a screen with the bios on it. I tried to flash it back to the original Sprint ROM but I am still getting this screen. Is there a way to get the "Touch Pro" initial screen back? Don't wanna look suspicious if I need to return this to bestbuy

Please don't double post! You have already posted this question in the ROMeOS thread (where it belongs, and where I've just answered it). No need to open an additional thread for this!
sorry. please let this die.

HTC Cruise like DIAMOND ?

Hello guys. I'm new here and i really don't know where and how to look for what i need ...So if you can please help me here is problem:
- I have a HTC TOUCH Cruise and i don't like it's today screen and averything. Is there a way i can make it look like a HTC Diamond? I mean the whole today skin, picture swaping, sms swaping, and everything?
What is that I need to know and what to do? Or where to look for and what to look for
I give a beer to the one who helps me
just flash the rom mate... see hard spl posts etc...
you can now even go winmo 6.5, which i have!!
After I flash the rom will i be able to restore the original one if I don't like the new one? Hard-reset will bring the original rom or the new one I just flushed?
You will be able to reflash your device with your original rom again, you can download it from here. When you do a hardreset it will just reinstall the OS what is installed at the time.

Can this go wrong?
When i tried to flash a wm 6.0 rom on my HTC wizard
it went wrong and now is my wizard dead.
is this without risk?
always a risk, nothing guaranteed...
If you are confused with the vast choice of Roms (as I was), have a good look at C Shekar's "b" rom - i installed it six months ago and have no regrets at all.
After flashing the rom, you then go and choose a "today" screen (manila) screen that you like.
Good luck.

g1 bootloader question

alright i installed something stupid on my g1 in an atempt to unlock the phone. it modified my bootloader and now when i turn it on it displays the t mobile g1 screen for like a second then displays a black DNA picture, then boots normaly.
i want to remove this image so i was thinking about reinstalling the bootloader, how do i know what one i have so i know what to replace, and should this be the right path to take
things i do know
im using cyanogen
im drc83 (idk what that means)
First this prob belongs in the Q&A section. Some more details about what exact file you flashed would help
my apologies, im new to the forums. i will admit it was a stupid decision to try this in the first place,
i have a url but it wont let me post it. that is where i got it from
If it displays just that picture & then boots normally your fine. I don't have the original splash file, but just look up how to use custom splash screens & find the original file & flash it. Boom, back to normal
