So, somehow I lost my "Touch Pro" Splash Screen after flashing my phone with the RomeOS rom, all i get now is a screen with the bios on it. I tried to flash it back to the original Sprint ROM but I am still getting this screen. Is there a way to get the "Touch Pro" initial screen back? Don't wanna look suspicious if I need to return this to bestbuy

Please don't double post! You have already posted this question in the ROMeOS thread (where it belongs, and where I've just answered it). No need to open an additional thread for this!
sorry. please let this die.

You've already posted in the "HardSPL will not install - WHITE SCREEN" thread (this one), so there's no point continuing this thread....
If you read through the whole of the above thread, then you should be able to work out if there has been a fix or workaround posted for your particular issue; if not, post some more relevant info so that people can help - "PLEASE HELP!!!" is just gonna get you ignored
MODS: Please close this thread
Hardspl wouldn't load, so I did the work around (white screen).
Follwed the instructions. All went well.
Burned Blackwoodv1 onto the phone. Phone rebooted.
Customization screen came up, asked if I wanted to run "removehiddenproxy" or something like that. I ran it...
Phone shut off.
Now I get the AT&T screen over and over and over.
The device never starts. No bootloader.
Any ideas, or do I send it back and hope for the best?
Um... Not more than a few pages back, was an answer- just the power key and camera key together got it to a boot loader Now I'm going to try to flash the radio.
Rats. After the radio flash and re-flash, same thing. Rats.
Flash a standard HTC rom, see if that works. Sounds like you have a bad rom & radio combo. I had the same problem with my Mogul once.
flash an OS not a radio
read the kaiser wiki, it helps
Closed, betcha
Yep, you answer lies within the threads (or google).
Sorry to do this to you but I have no choice.
Suggest going to one of these threads:
1) The thread on Hard SPL
2) The thread on Jump SPL
3) The thread on the specific Rom you are trying to use
4) The Kaiser Wiki.
does anyone know if this is normal after I flashed my tilt with AT&T Test ROM, the first boot screen changed to "For Test Only, Not For Sale...." but when I flashed the device back to an earlier HTC ROM, the Test Only screen is still there.

Problems
I noticed that you started two threads for issues that are clearly covered in the Sticky with GWENI.
Both problems can be resolved fairly quickly with a trip down to the ONLY STICKY in this subforum.

Both the downgrade issue and the keyboard issues have been discussed many times.

I guess I was more looking to find the root cause...which I think I found....it's ROM specific, then I flashed the tilt to the Test rom, the splash screen came up, when I flashed it back to original ROM, it didn't go away but when I flashed it with TNT rom, it changed to the TNT splash screen.
like I said in my earlier post about the other issuewith the keyboard, I tried the fix but it didn't work and I couldn't find the answer (didn't know that it could be ROM specific that the keyboard fix works with some roms it doesn't with others)...not sure why you are you yelling by using caps, i would recommend not replying at all instead of being angry.
The root cause is, not all ROMs contain splash screens. Therefore, the last splash screen you flashed is left on your device.
If you have additional questions, please post them in the ROM splash screen flashing thread. This thread is redundant and is now closed.
I recently went from Hyperdragon III series to another ROm and all is well except the first splash/boot screen which still says Hyperdragon.
Is there a complete package (ie "flasher" and default boot screen in one) that I can download somewhere?
I tried searching the forums but all I find are custom ones. I just want to go back to the old HTC one.

alright i installed something stupid on my g1 in an atempt to unlock the phone. it modified my bootloader and now when i turn it on it displays the t mobile g1 screen for like a second then displays a black DNA picture, then boots normaly.
i want to remove this image so i was thinking about reinstalling the bootloader, how do i know what one i have so i know what to replace, and should this be the right path to take
things i do know
im using cyanogen
im drc83 (idk what that means)
First this prob belongs in the Q&A section. Some more details about what exact file you flashed would help
my apologies, im new to the forums. i will admit it was a stupid decision to try this in the first place,
i have a url but it wont let me post it. that is where i got it from
If it displays just that picture & then boots normally your fine. I don't have the original splash file, but just look up how to use custom splash screens & find the original file & flash it. Boom, back to normal
