Android 11 update screen rotate issues? - Samsung Galaxy A71 5G Guides, News, & Discussion

I have an A716V (Verizon) which recently updated to 11 and UI3. Ever since it has a "crash" when I tirn the phone to landscape mode. Have to turn rotate off, then on and restart for it to work right again (for only a little while).
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Screen and Keyboard issue.

I've been searching the raphael forum for a solution and haven't come across anybody who has experienced this problem let alone how to fix it. When I restart my Fuze or load a new rom the device defaults to landscape mode and has to be manually set to portrait. When I slide open the keyboard the screen stays the same. The keyboard is another issue. The backlight doesn't come on and the keys are unresponsive. When I boot into Android the Screen defaults to landscape and the keyboard backlights turn on (and never turn off) but the keys are still inactive. Does anyone know a solution?

[Q] s5 screen goes black but buttons are lit when hitting power button

While the phone is powered on, randomly the screen will not turn on for me. This has been happening for at least a week yet the only thing I can really recall doing with it is turning off some default apps recommended in another thread here. sometimes the screen goes completely gray as well.
anyone else having this problem? Ive been taking the battery out to resolve it thus far. I'm rooted with 4.4.2 installed (no roms)

T-Mobile Note 5 stuck on portrait mode

I've had my Note 5 for two weeks and on two occasions, it was stuck on portrait mode even though it is set on auto rotate, it would not go into landscape mode. I had to turn off the phone in order to get it to auto rotate again. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?
so you mean, with the button greyed out, something like a browser window will still stay in portrait mode while the handset is in the horizontal position?
I haven't had any issues that i've noticed.
does some light tapping do anything? maybe even try a factory reset (I cringe, too).

the button is not greyed out....I"m still able to toggle from portrait mode and auto rotate mode but the screen won't toggle and will only stay on portrait mode......
Had this problem once but it was stuck in landscape mode while I was using the Chrome Browser. All I did was press the home button and it went back to portrait and closed out Chrome. then relaunched and it was all good. I know that probably wont work for you since yours is stuck in portrait mode, everything works in portrait except some games. Try launching a game that runs in portrait mode.
I have this exact problem!!!
I have had the same thing happen to me about once a week. I end up having to reboot the phone to get it to rotate again. Once it happens it occurs in every app capable of rotating. Anyone found a solution?

Android Auto unable to tap after phone screen locks

I don't think this is a general Android Auto issue, as I've not experienced it with my other Android devices (LG V50, Nexus 5X) before. I recently got a OnePlus 8 (from Sprint, which as I understand it is the T-Mobile variant - model IN2017), and when I use it with Android Auto, if I let the screen lock on its own, I can't tap on anything on my radio screen (Kenwood DDX-6706S) - but it does respond to swipe/scroll. If I unlock the phone, it works fine again, or if I lock the screen with the power button rather than letting it time out, I have no issues at all. Has anyone else noticed this?
