xGody T1006 tablet can´t connect to Google Play Store anymore - General Questions and Answers

Hello dear community,
in July 2019 I bought a tablet from xGody, model type T1006. Until mid / end 2020 it ran as it supposed to. Then I recognized that I can´t log into my Google Play Account anymore. It always states, that there is a connective problem or the device doesn´t work with google data services. The connection can´t be the problem, because I use this device via wifi.
Second thing, that I notices was, that I can use google or bing via browser, but can´t visit certain web sites (for example amazon). Because I can´t connect to Google Play Store I tried to download the apps directly from the web sites (for example virus program), also that is impossible.
I contected xGody, but they can´t help either. They said, that I should do an "hard reset" (?) and follow their instructions. But these instructions do not line up with my device, because the menu is in Chinese. With "half help" of Youtube i did a "hard reset" by choosing e MMC mode (?). The customer service also said, that they do not have service up dates for my device "anymore", because it is too old (it is literally 2 years old).
In total I reset my tablet 5 times and nothing has changed.
Does anybody have an idea what I can do about these issues?
Thank you so much for your answers and sorry for my bad English (it´s not my native language).

Hello jwoegerbauer,
thank you for the weblink. My Wi-Fi connection is strong. That is not the problem. Via browser I can visit some sites and I can log into my Google account via "Google Home Page". I can´t connect my Google account to my device. So I can´t download apps. Some websites I can visit, but can´t download apps there either. The "download bar" just keeps rotating or the conection brakes down.
I try to be more specific:
When I try to download apps directly from websites, this shows up: net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME
When I try to enter certain websites, this shows up: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME on Google Chrome show up when your Android Internal clock is incorrect make sure to update clock and date correctly on your country timezone

Hello ineedroot69,
thank you for your answer. The clock and date is correctly entered (German standard time).

have you tried connecting to different network?
also have you tried using different browser ?
perhaps running on VPN?
perhaps you have your android "host" file misconfigure
also yes do a hard reset

Hello ineedroot69,
thank you for your answer. Sorry, that I have to ask. Do you mean by "network" I shall use an other internet provider?
I can´t use a different browser, cause I can´t download apps. Normally I do not use the pre-installed browser, but in this case I automatically have to. To my knowledge this pre-installed browser does not have a vpn mode. But to be 100% clear, I will look in closer, when I come home from work.
I already did 3 hard resets via e MMC "mode" (?) nothing has changed, unfortunately.
Cause I did these hard resets, I don´t know how I could misconfigured my android data / host. At all 3 times it was and is reset to factory setting.

www.apkmirror.com
will it download on this site?
Otherwise you need to move apps to the tablet by USB to install it

Hello jjgvv,
I have to say: Thank you so much. The tablet can open your posted website and I can download apps from it.
I downloaded my browser and anti virus program of choice.
Only problem (still) is Google. I downloaded the google play store app. After downloading the app I was asked to do an up date to this app (2 times), which I did. The connectivity issue still exists. Plus, in the upper left corner of the screen appears a triangle shaped warning sign that states "A problem occured by connecting to google" (translated from German to English).
Also I still can´t visit certain web sites such as amazon and ebay.
What I also found "interesting", but maybe that´s just my lack of knowledge, is that I had to download the app-version for Android 5+. When I first tried to download the app-version for Android 6+ or 7+ the system of my tablet stated "Parsing problems". Which I find strange, because the tablet runs with Android 7 (when I look up the tablet info in the configuration menu).

Hello indeedroot69,
like I said. In the "about section" (configuration menu) of the tablet it states "Android 7"

So fake android 7, real android 5.

So nothing can be done? The download infos from these apps stated: min: android 5 up to android 11.
I am not sure, if my tablet really just has android 5. The direct information in the "about section" states android 7.
So basically within the tablet not in an operation instruction.

min Android 5 up to Android 11 means the app can be used by Android 5,6,7,8,9,10 and 11. You need the app 'aida64' to check real Android version, Which can be downloaded in the link I provided.

Checked it, It´s android 5.1 (Lollipop) not 7.X (Nougat). Great.
So I can forget about getting it to work again?

forget playstoreit kind of works with apkmirror apps actually.

Hello jjgvv,
thank you for your answer. It is good, that it works with apps from apkmirror.
But android 5.1 is very old (est. in 2014/15) so some websites or apps seem not to run under that (amazon, ebay, email, netflix). Also I am worried about safty issues, because that android version is that old.
Isn´t there a possibility to install android 7.x on this tablet?
When I searched on the internet I didn´t find service up-dates for this specific tablet but an other, which almost has the same name and model number: xCode t1006.
Maybe it is possible to up-grade my tablet with their newer up-dates if they exist.

What is your chipset in aida64?

just ran into this and i think i'm hooked.
Something like this is the missing link in my arsenal.
Has anyone purchased tested? What do you think?
Hi there, this looks interesting anyone using this device? would like to hear
a hand on report
btw where can we buy this device and price??
ive been researching this tablet for a few hours now and from what i can tell theres no market app...which wouldnt be so bad because you could download all the apks to your sd card, but theres also no file explorer which means that plan is moot. everything though, is a dream!
I purchased one of these little beauties with 2.1 on it. When running 2.1, the bluetooth, audio and gps are broke. Audio works but is very quiet, bluetooth and gps simply do not work. I used adb to install apps, most fc'd after install. There is a new ROM out for it that fixed most of the fc's, but did not fix bt or gps. When I contacted support, I was told that if i wanted to use gps I should install wince...
Otherwise, the device is very sexy, very fast and feels to be quite durable. If they can get the 3 issues listed above worked out, this thing will be awesome.
Well? Where is the update. Have you made any progress with the wisitech? Access to marketplace at this point?
Thanks for keeping us updated!

ViewSonic is releasing a 10.1-inch tablet that will dual boot Windows 7 and Android 1.6.
http://technolog.msnbc.msn.com/_new...nics-10-inch-tablet-boots-windows-and-android
My question is, why ONLY Android 1.6??? Android 2.x has been out for months and they can't have it integrated into this device? Bad decision in my opinion. Although the article does say ViewSonic has another tablet that has Android 2.2, it isn't one that dual boots. Just thought I'd share.
Witstec A81G
I just ordered the A81G (supposedly everything is working), with 2.2.
I ordered it because (in theory) it dual boots into WinCe and 2.2, GPS working in both operating systems, removable battery (most do not and most do not have very long battery life, makes the product virtually useless, as a mobile device) once the battery is dead) and a matte screen.
If all the above is true then it is one heck of a deal at $205, shipped (ordered it from Hotmid). It is it not then it will make a great paper weight.
The videos of the product on YouTube seemed very promising.
Once I get it (I was too cheap to pay for quicker shipping), around Jan 151011, I will post my review and indicate whether I accomplished the dual boot.
I even saw a video on line showing it with Multi-touch. Hmmm.
Problem with Market solved
This is the solution.
Android market setting
1) Press Home button
2) Click settings
3) Chose Applications / Manage applications
4) click Running TAB
5) Find Market program in the list and click
6) Click :
a. Clear cache
b. Force stop
7) Press back button On 81
8) Find Google Services Framework and click (Running TAB)
9) Click
a. Clear data (DELTE warning will appear. Click OK)
b. Force stop
10) Go back to Home page of A81
11) Try to Run Market
12) You should see new window with following message: An error occurred. Please try
again. (this is good message telling that all steps was done successfully)
13) Turn OFF device
14) Turn ON device
15) Make sure you have Internet connection (WiFi or other) and SD card is inserted
16) Run Market
Now its working fine.

Very low cost tablet

Hi all, i'd like to buy a chinese android based tablet (price should be around 100€), i'd like to ask you which one do you suggest to buy.
I've seen one from my friend and i liked it, i didn't remember the model but i tought that the android market was not the official one, can it be? If so, there's any way i can install it? Or i can install other apps without the market?
Another question, are these upgradable? I thought that the Android inside the tablet was pretty old (1.6 maybe), this was not a problem in everyday use, but i'm a maniac and i like to have everything up to date, if i can.
Please let me know
Just bought the TechPad Android Tablet
I guess we'll see what can be done with these. I don't need an ereader so I am looking for this to be an extension of my android phone, GPS - browser - etc. I should receive it by the 9-25-10
It has OS 1.6 Android 7 Inch Tablet with a 800MHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, 1Gb ROM, WiFi, and the Google Android Marketplace.

There are many store where you can buy that table you can do your own research on the web so you can select the right store that will meet your budget.
@superchaos
so did you get the 7 inch techpad unit yet? if so how is it?
I did.
It is not replacing my phone, I seem to be able to see a lot of the apps in the market but I am unable to download them. It just gets stuck at the starting download screen. Wifi connects really well and has a great connection.
Some apps just won't install like google earth, Google sky map, Swype doesn't recognize the device, etc.
The touch screen is kind of weak and you really have to press to get it to get the typing to work. The system files are accessible and there is a "su" folder. I am not real good at getting into anything. It looks to me like it is rooted but I have not figured out how to get into a recovery mode.
I have tried to connect it to the SDK from google and it does not recognize the device. If anyone has any ideas, I am open to suggestions.
Market issue is likely just Google servers. Happens all the time.
You need to test root by running an app like titanium backup which needs root, and see if it works.
For recovery, you would only get a stock one, and I doubt you will get a custom one online if the device is not common.
Is USB debugging enabled for adb, and have you looked for it in device manager to see its hardware id and check if the id is listed in the adb driver list?
@superchaos
judging from the price the screen probably is not capacitive type but resistive. how's the battery holding? how long does it last before you have to recharge? does it look like it's upgradable to android 2.2?
thanks.

It doesn't seem to be rooted. To get the adb shell to recognize the device and to get Dalvik Debug Monitor to see the device, I followed the instructions here rbgrn.net/content/399-how-to-get-archos-5-internet-tablet-adb-working-on-x64-windows
I used HiDROID instead of Archos5 and the device id is USB\VID_18D1&PID_0002&MI_01
I run winXP not win7 and this worked. Screen capture works too. The programs I installed that require root just force close.

The screen could be a lot better. It is like there is a film on top of the screen for touch capabilities. The battery holds really well unless you are watching videos. 4-5 hours of constant use. You can leave it plugged in too. I am hoping it is upgradeable. The OS is built for a phone.
How do I get a list of hardware devices in the phone? Not just the specs on the pamphlet but actual hardware names/mfg's?

[Q] New Big Lots Uniden UTAB71 questions

They are pretty crappy. A8, 512MB, 4GB, but only $59 on sale right now. I was able to side load Yahoo Messenger & Plugin, and Titanium backup. Does this mean it's already unlocked? Oh, and it came with Google Play installed. They take a 32GB SDHC just fine, but no HDMI. I also bought a FUBU Nabi awesome sauce thing for my kids. Can I backup the kids apps on the Nabi with Titanium to ext SD, then just restore them to the Uniden? My main question is, Is this thing already unlocked? Sorry for the Noobness. I learned to root the Nabi and sideload stuff in a couple hours on the Nabi, but still a noob..

BUMP
Sorry if it was wrong to bump, I believe it said it was okay to do so once every 24 hours.
I have the same device and I'm curious, I tried the z4root app, and I got no results. I installed superuser and nothing happened, or nothing seemed to happen, that would be awesome if it was already unlocked!
NOTE: When I opened the z4root app, it never said root/unroot, it looked like it said re-root/unroot, ao I'm guessing it might already be unlocked, but I'm having the hardest time finding out.
Does anyone happen to know?
Uniden UTAB71
My UTAB71 didn't come with Google Play store preloaded, and there wasn't an option to obtain it from the list of approved app stores you could download by clicking the 'Download App Stores' icon on the default launcher. I also tried installing it from the APK I downloaded from Android Police (w w w dot androidpolice.com/2012/11/02/download-latest-google-play-store-3-9-17/) to no avail.
I had previously purchased a 7" D2 pad from Big Lots and used a package I found on AndroidTablets.net (w w w dot androidtablets.net/forum/allwinner-a10-based/47980-can-anyone-help-me-2.html) to put Google play store on it, and this package also worked for the UTAB71. Look at the first post on the page (it's by user Erron and a link to his skydrive includes the necessary files).
This tablet is already rooted.
I haven't been able to find anything online concerning this tablet...not even from Uniden's or SouthernTeleCom's websites. I will use this thread for the time being for any updates I come across while toying with this device.
So far, I'm pretty satisfied...if I can have GO launcher and video chat via skype for $60, that's a win in my book. The tablet is relatively quick for only having a 1Ghz processor and 512MB ram. I haven't noticed any lag yet and seems as fast as the 1.2Ghz 1GB ram D2 pad I had purchased before.
EDIT1: I found the hidden support section for Uniden on Southern Telecom's website:
southerntelecom.com/unidentabletsupport/ although it doesn't have any info pertaining to the UTAB71...just a device called the UTAB430. I expect this is where we will find firmware updates, etc in the future.
I'm not sure what rooted means anymore. I know what root is on Linux, but... This let me install ES Explorer from exsd. I put 10GB of kids avi/mp4 videos on it and it plays them all fine. I guess if I can install anything I want from exsd I don't care if it's rooted. It is fast enough. It has a nice screen when playing hi-rez animated movies.
- Joe
I'm glad to hear that it is already rooted.
This makes me confused as to why superuser and other rooted apps would not properly operate. They got errors when trying to request superuser root permissions or something, i couldn't get error codes, just crashes...
I like it, its pretty quick, I however am trying to overclock it and so far no success.
Nothing drastic, just bumping it up to maybe 1.2 GHz at most.
Enough to stop the minor lags I encounter once in a blue moon...
Maybe Bumping the SD speed as well...
Its a nifty tablet, Very helpful in college. Since I got it, I don't have to lug around my ASUS 17" gaming laptop with all its mods, OC, and power chord anymore. Takes a load off my back. lol
Sorry if it looks like I'm hijacking this, I'm not. This thread seems relevant. And I'm thinking the OP might need this info as well, might come in handy for him in the future, idk...

Thanks for those instructions, I was able to get Play Store loaded on.
btw, out of the box the kernel allows for OC'ing.. I used ROM Toolbox Pro to OC to 1.2ghz. Anything higher made the tablet lock up, but ymmv.
The tablet is surpisingly quite responsive @1.2 ghz with Apex Launcher.
not to sound too nooby, but is there a way to connect this to a monitor?

So far this is working fine for my uses, using Sign my Pad, to sign PDF work orders, and keep pdf service manuals at hand, testing wifi signals etc

A friend of mine just got one of these, and I put the Google Market on it, but it did not update to Play for some reason. Anyway, he had not set up any passwords on it, but after it went into sleep mode on him this morning, it came back wanting a password to access it. Well since he had never set it up, the password was unknown. He brought it to me this afternoon, because I hack a lot on Android devices. I was not able to get it to reset using the hard button on the side. It still always booted wanting a login password.
I tried getting it into recovery, but was never able to. There are only 2 buttons on the device, power and home. Does anybody have any idea how to get this tablet into recovery mode?
thx,

Did you guys try 0000 or 1234? I'd also suggest calling the company
I don't know how to get it into recovery.
I've been searching myself.
I however found a way to confirm this device is rooted. There is am app called "Root Checker"
In any app store, download that app, it should be free.
Anyways, I clicked to confirm if it was rooted, and it says it is already rooted.
Under my kernel version it says [email protected] #56 or something like that, so I'm assuming it was rooted and something to do with ubuntu...
Anyways, I've installed a terminal IDE app, and typed SU, shows # which I believe also means rooted.
--------------------------
Now that it is rooted, I've forgotten all my great ideas for changes and things to do that only rooted phones can do. Kinda sad. lol
But I will start looking for manual overclocking modification methods.
As I have not yet found any overclocking applications that support this devices hardware...
I like it a lot, runs flawlessly, and smooth, except for the ocassional lag on the internet browser, I'm thinking a small 0.1-0.2 GHz bump will do the trick.

******* I hope this helps all of us! I do not know where to start as far as modifying a kernel or ROM for this device, but I found these specs above.
SetCPU does seem to increase the CPU frequency, but I don't think the voltage changed at all, so... I will be working on what I can with my device, I will post if I find anything useful as far as anything goes.
Maybe with luck, this device will run windows 8 for ARM! I can only try.
E-Mail Address Book
Is there a way to save addresses of received E-Mails in like an address book or contact list that most other mails have? If there is I have not found
it yet
Thanks -- George

Are you using the stock built in pre-loaded email app?
I couldn't say, I havent used it yet.
I do believe the device has the ability to copy and paste text, and that it also has a contacts list feature that you can edit the emails into.
However I don't know if they work together...
I use the gMail app. It and my gMail account seem to remember email addresses...
---------------------------------------------
I have been using SetCPU app from my phone in my android tablet, so far it has beem working fine.
The stock CPU speed is 1.001 GHz on this tablet.
So far I am running overclocked 1.2 GHz and it has been stable all day. Battery life seems to be the same.
It does get somewhat warm on the back of the device by the power button, but nothing drastic or alarming.
Remember: Overclocking is your choice and your actions alone, it can be fatal to the device if done incorrectly.
If anyone finds anything about these devices, I hope it gets posted here.
Maybe if we are lucky enough, because enough of us have these tablets, we will get our own device category and general forum for info and questions...
I forgot what else I was going to say... Other than I might look into the 4.1 Android updates and whatever comes next for android, and I will see if I can backup my current device files, OS, Kernal, etc and upgrade it.
But for now, I'm starting slow and working on finding more info. Anyone else getting any progress?
--------------------------------------
NOTE: Sorry this thread got hijacked into this. It sort-of because the Uniden tablet Know-it-all and what not spot of questions and answers.
I will stop if the OP and/or others decide it is nessisary.
If thats the case, I'd stop and then make a dedicated thread to this device and link this thread and my other question thread to that thread as "Relevant info"...

[Review] Incredible 3GB 6000mAh Innos D6000 review specs

Possible issues:
D6000 reboots: 2 users have stated that turning off animations was correlational to D6000 rebooting itself. I have turned off animations since the beginning and not experienced this problem at all on any ROM. Still, it's worth noting here as a possible solution: Turn animations back on if animations are off and you are having reboots
Box states other than official site in regards to frequency support: Gone, info link removed by XDA mods.
Several users experiencing restarts when phone goes into deep sleep
Hard bricked after ROM install: Plug phone into PC via USB and enter recovery (VolDown+Power) then do reboot
v2.4 D6000 dedicated function button not working. Solution: Switch to Chinese language and set by pressing button or through system settings. Switch back to English. Profit.
At least 4 Western users and one China user has experienced "dead battery" syndrome. The internal battery will not charge. Phone boots into Android, after a few seconds phone freezes, then reboots or powers down. Battery charge icons do not show when phone powered down. Solution:

How to upgrade to 5.1 from User 861efdee
Driver Files (Found in 4pda.ru forums):
http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=05936486760178633478 (Just the drivers)
https://yadi.sk/d/LKwZHvUEiosBx (Drivers + QPST/QFIL)
1. Install the drivers. (Accept all default settings)
2. Install QPST/QFIL (Accept all default settings)
3. Unzip the tar.gz to a folder. (Remember this folder)
4. Run QFIL, it should auto detect the port (mine was COM5)
5. Select Flat build.
6. Select Programmer Path from the unzipped tar.gz folder just now and select prog_emmc_firehose_8936.mbn
7. Ensure the Select build path is the path to the unzipped tar.gz folder.
8. Click on Load XML and select rawprogram_unparse
9.. Select patch0.xml
10. Click on Download. Windows will suddenly find and install another new driver and you will receive a "Fail to find QDloader" error
After Windows has installed the driver, go to QFIL and select the new port number for the device Windows have just installed. You should see the number change from 9091 to 9008 and different COM number.
11. Press Download again and cross your fingers.
Root, gapps, TWRP tutorial: Gone, link removed by mods.
Recommended gapps: http://opengapps.org Make sure to DL ARM-64 for 5.1. Pico recommended.
For those concerned about frequencies, we finally had a Canadian answer back and he's connecting to bands as advertised on the site. This means the box is incorrect and the official Innos site is listing the correct frequency support: Gone, link removed by mods.
Wow thanks for sharing :highfive:
Spec are good, but is innos a reliable manufacturer ?
Where can I buy one from 'Canada, and will it be in english????

They're using quality components. If you don't want to bite yet, wait for the review results.

Should be released this week. You'll need to buy from a China shop most likely, Innos D6000 unlikely to be sold retail in anywhere but China or China resellers.
Do somebody know, if it's prerooted? If not can somebody know how to do it?
Can I load there some custom roms?
Will custom roms recognize two batteries, or it's just unique for this innos firmware?
Details of software is necessary to buy, because without root it's useless.
It would be nice to get some more details of its software.
The Innos D6000 has just been received. As far as Innos D6000 root, rooting it shouldn't be a problem. I may delve into that later, but at this point just general testing. So far it's proving to be a very professionally done package. I've put together a quick unboxing. Just slammed it together. Nothing fancy. Uploading to YouTube now. Already up on Facebook.
<MOD EDIT - Link Removed>. First post on the page.

Sweet, thanks for the review. I've been looking at this phone for the last couple weeks and really interested in getting it. Really looking forward to the full review on your site!
Also, what exactly do you mean about rooting possibilities?

It means the phone is rootable, but most likely will need to flash TWRP / CWM.
I'll be doing a running review of the Innos D6000. Piece by piece, then putting it together at Gizbeat with a conclusion. Most likely this week.
That's nice. Can't wait Your movie and my innos it's
Still waiting for dispatch in China...
It was nice if the root methods will work for it.
Hi all.
I bought this phone last week and so far is great.
I found a Chinese forum and install a ROM via native recovery from there but all the Gapps are gone now. The phone have no root and Market.
I install Mi Market and manage to install Play Store and Google Services but the Play Store gives me an error of connection due to the host file in System / etc (root).
I'm not a developer and i'm looking for a Custom recovery or Root access for this device, when you have please post it....
Thanks in advance
Hi All,
I also had problems with an update removing all google services.
You need to use the annoying Qualcomm wire brush method and drivers! As its type C USB, you will also need Qualcomm Ethernet drivers and not standard USB.....
In windows 10 etc you'll also have to disable driver certificate verification to install the drivers.
At the moment there is no root option, but here's the google play 5.1.1 version:-http://bbs.innos.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=59378&extra=page%3D1&mobile=2
To register on the innos BBS to view links, you'll need a QQ messenger account to use the baidu cloud downloaded.
I would post the entire instructions but I'm currently on holiday in the Ukraine.
Let me know if you need any more help installing the ROM and getting over the great firewall of China!
Thanks!

Hi Ado James
I have everything you said here except the Qualcomm ethernet drivers.
I will look for this in Google and try to install it and then try to install the ROM....
I will keep you post it
Thanks
This bbs site lookslike fully of helpful informations, but even after translate looks like hard to understand...
Maybe it's time to make space for innos at this forum? Mods?
It could be reason to collect soft or even ingest developers to do done software?
It was nice to install TWRP and some custom roms like slimcat or cm... Is it possible? Will wait, will see...

Hi Ado
I can't find the right drivers for type-c usb.
If you please, when you arrive from your vacations try to post here all the drivers and programs necessary...
Thanks in advance
I also get the Innos D6000 and are happy with him. By reading your posts it's not an option to upgrade(using wire brush) to a newer version of software due to the play issue(suppose international shipment bring a bit different rom from the Chinese version). On the innos bbs forum i also noticed people not happy with newer software than v1.1 (android 5.0.2), but also noticed people are happy with this rom:
http://bbs.innos.com/thread-59378-1-1.html
it seams it bring play, anyone tried it ?
D6000 frequencies?
According to Gizbeat there is a question about frequencies
<MOD EDIT - Link Removed>
Owners of d6000 If you could, please state your location and what frequencies you are quite sure you're connecting on.
There's also this thread: Where a user is unable to connect to B7 LTE
<MOD EDIT - Link Removed>
Because I'm from USA and it means the phone is completely useless there if box is correct.

I've communicated with Innos today. According to them the specs are as stated on their official page and through their selling partners. The box only reads the minimal frequencies so as to not confuse Chinese people where the majority of these phones are sold.
Of course, this isn't 100% solid. What we need is reports from people who own the phone, where they live and what kind of connectivity they're getting, especially from anyone in N/C/S Americas, but any reports from any locations are good.
I got my D6000 on saturday. My problem is, that the phone is always reebooting when you turn off the display. This happens in between 1-2 minutes after put the phone in standby. When i turn on flightmode the phone is not reebooting!! Maybe there is a bug with the modem. I use TELEKOM (t-mobile) in Germany.
The rom is version D6000_ROM_COMMON_V1.1 (Android Version 5.0.2).
Any ideas?
Hanz, that's a good guess that it's something with the radio or radio software. If I were you, I'd try the beta 5.1 and see if the problem continues. If it doesn't, then you know it's a software issue. If it does, it still might be a software issue (eg, if it's a driver or baseband issue and these files not changing between ROMs). I'm only recommending it as part of the process of elimination.
First you might want to try setting to WCDMA only, GSM only, LTE only, and see if it's an issue with more specific connectivity. If these options don't exist in mobile network settings, try to use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mangelow.network&hl=en

H96 RK3566 Max & Kodi problem

I have just bought a new Android TV Box model 2021, H 96 Max RK3566 4/32( Android 11) and installed the KODI app and the corresponding build on. I immediately noticed that the box has a big problem with this app and when I run the KODI app KODI loads and after a few seconds it resets and returns the screen to the basic default screen, sometimes it completely reset the box and restarts the box again. After many attempts, I sometimes manage to make KODI work normally until I turn the box off, after a new activation on, the same problems occur. Is there any way to fix this problem?
Any advice would be welcome.
Best Regards/Sat-An
On freaktab or 4pda forums are some FW updates ( and howto root )
That might help
What kodi build are you using?
What FW build number are you on ?
The unit comes with RKMC 18.9...I also tried 19.0 64bit the worked fine on my unit
-part from many addons being non-working on matrix
Or
Use a app like Catlog to see the error log
Or
Use the submit a bug option
Cheers
PS.. The rk3566 units are pretty much pre-sale items
Aka latest tech = you are the beta tester!

I tried 18.9 Leia with No Limits Magic build and 19.1 Matrix with Xenon Matrix build, and always exactly the same problem.
Kodi works for you on RK3566 ???, if so then something is wrong with my box maybe HW memory I don't know I guess. As you advise me, I will seek help on freaktab or 4pda forums.
I also can't believe that the box in the basic Android settings doesn't have Power Key and HDMI-CEC definition options. Thank you for your answer.
Best Regards / Sat-An
Is there a slimebox version or H96 Max RK3566?
