Which Cross Platform mobile app development tools should i choose for mobile app development
Try Unity 3D. It offers much possibilities and you can find much ressources.
Super Wilmer
We've been looking at porting to libGDX which is java based, and can port to iOS and HTML5, since our game Super Wilmer is java based makes the most sense. But I've also been reviewing unity, C# scripting, very visual comes with a large bag of goodies. We are a small 2 man Indie team, that build games outside of our full time jobs, so are looking to cut down our development time, so perhaps we start looking at this Unity.
I think Corona also crossbuilds.
Anyone use coco2dx ??

I use cocos2d-x It is quite good if you're not afraid of C++ and want to make a really cross-platform game.
Cocos2d is great use it.
I use cocos2d-x it is awesome and with a bit of searching on their site you find an awesome documemtation
Sent from my P6-U06 using XDA Free mobile app
Just say thanks i learned a lot
As a user of unity since version 4.1.2, I can definitely recomend you this engine. Among other great features, cross platform development is the killer one - if you aim to be on many platforms (and I'm sure, sooner or later you'll want to), you can save huge amount of time with it.
Cross Platform mobile app development tools
Here are a few to consider:
Codename One - This is a great option if you’re a Java programmer and need native performance. Use almost any IDE you want.
Kony Mobility Platform - claims that is “supports the entire application software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enables organizations to go from idea to omni-channel app in just a few.” Has pre-built apps that will really help you get started but documentation might be a problem.
Sencha touch - is a great choice if you need more than 50 built-in, high-performance UI widgets like lists, carousels, forms, menus, toolbars etc.
These are just three option out of many, so definitely continue to do your research and see which is best suited to your particular needs and project.
Xamarin
You should use Xamarin for your mobile application development project.
Hi Guys,
In order to work on cross-platform application efficiently, there are some tools used and I will be mentioning top tools here that can work on multiple platforms like Windows, iOS, and Android:
• Xamarin
• Titanium
• Apache Cordova
• Respond Native
• Ionic
It is a very difficult task to select the best tools for our mobile apps because all tools have different features with pros & cons. Select best cross-platform tools according to your requirement. For more information about Cross-platform tools, you can visit us website Frugalnova.com

It really depends on what you want to do but you can also consider Qt if you're good at C++.
It's a great framework with lots of features and generates codes for android, ios, windows, mac os and linux.
I vote for Xamarin Forms. If you know C# it's best.

It is very hard question for mobile app developers to reply. But As a mobile app developer and as per my personal work experience, I suggest you to use Xamarin and NativeScript tools for cross platform mobile app development. These are popular and it has very special features too.
cross platform mobile app development tools
according to me Xamarin is a popular cross-platform mobile app development tool that provides app store delivery, performance testing, Virtual testing, and monitoring. Efficiently used to design native apps for multiple platforms. Developers can use the same IDE, APIs, and language. You can also use corona for app development. if any one else have better idea please let me know?
hello! This is my first time here.
I am developing a cross platform application from scratch (windows and android).
Its about data mining on windows store and play store.
Data about apps will be collected and will be used to suggest better apps from similar ones.
I have no experience on app development. Since i am doing this with my friends for my college project so its all about learning and implementing.
so my question are
1. what are your suggestions?
2. How can i get raw data form app stores.
3. Are there any quick Gui design tools for android?
4. And last kindly tell me some freeware or paid software that will be beneficial for my work.
thank you .
Hi
I have a existing Php web application using MSSQL database. I would like to create a android App. Is there a suggestion on how to do it?
Regards
NO.
You can't make an Android App utilizing PHP and MySQL alone. Yet, they can be utilized to deal with the web-benefit ask for from Android App to server.
So its essentially, CRUD operations in server db utilizing information from (or to) Android App.
In the event that you need to make an Android App utilizing web innovations (HTML, CSS, JS), the best choice would be a Hybrid App utilizing Phonegap.
Note : I have addressed the question expecting that you are planing to build up an "Android App" utilizing PHP and MySQL, not server-side of it.
Hi,
I'm new to android app development, got to work on some offline Application development which uses native or mobile (RealmDB) database.
I've couple of things which are not clear before starting up the project. Basically need to develop some game which will have the following features,
User Login, Game Playing , User logout. Once after playing the game result should be synced to some other webApp. Also have around 900-1000 images in the game.
My Questions are,
-- What is the best approach to handle overall App, in terms of Application architecture ?
-- How images can be stored or retrieved in a best / faster way ?
-- About 2 way data sync up, how this can be handled ?
-- About user login, when it is offline App , how user can be validated ?
Can any body help along with example / piece of scenarios.
Thanks in advance.

What is Native Mobile App Development?
Native mobile app development involves building apps for particular mobile operating systems, and users access them from dedicated app stores (such as the App Store or Google Play).
1. Native Apps Have The Best Performance
With native mobile application development, the app is created and optimized for a specific platform. As a result, the app demonstrates an extremely high level of performance. Native apps are very fast and responsive because they are built for that specific platform and are compiled using platforms core programming language and APIs. As a result, the app is much more efficient. The device stores the app allowing the software to leverage the device’s processing speed. As users navigate through a native mobile app, the contents and visual elements are already stored on their phone which means load times are quick.
2. Native Apps Are More Secure
Web apps rely on different browsers and underlying technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Developing a native mobile app is a great way to guarantee your users reliable data protection.
3. Native Apps Are More Interactive And Intuitive
Native mobile apps run much smoother regarding user input and output. These types of apps inherit their devices’ OS interfaces, making them look and feel like an integrated part of the device.
4. Native Apps Allow Developers to Access the Full Feature Set of Devices
Native apps are developed for their particular platform, taking full advantage of the software and the operating systems’ features. These apps can directly access the hardware of the device such as the GPS, camera, microphone, etc. so they are faster in execution, which ultimately results in better user experience. Push notifications are another huge advantage to choosing native app development. Push notifications go through the iOS server (APNS) which you need your app bundle ID and same with Google’s Cloud Messaging (GCM).
5. Native App Development Tends to Have Fewer Bugs During Development
It’s much more difficult to maintain two different applications in one codebase than it is two applications in two codebases. With native app development, you have fewer dependencies for bugs to occur because you’re not relying on a cross-platform tool such as Xamarin or Cordova. Hybrid apps access hardware through a bridge which often slows development down and can amount to a frustrating user experience.
