Sometimes I get this message 'Calling is currently not available' when making a phone call, though connectivity is fine. If I press Voice Call a few times, then the call proceeds as normal. Anyone else had some experience?

My wife had that on her 8T using verizon. Reset network settings and it fixed.

I can do everything else on it. Text, Place calls, receive text and emails, surf the web. It won't ring calls are going to voicemail. I got a replacement phone from best buy. I have spent 2+ hours with sprint CS resetting and upgrading everything. I'm coming from a S4 that has been wiped.
Has anyone else had this issue? Fix?
Thanks
Phone is completely stock.
Have tried:
Battery Pull
Update Profile, PRL, System update
Did the ##72786# "refresh"
HELP!
Had the same issue where my phone wasn't ringing on calls received. The ##72786# refresh fixed it for me. Has not happened again.
Yeah, i thought maybe I was imagining it but i had like 2 calls go to voicemail from a roadside assistance company i was waiting for call from last night. Thought it was odd but now you say your experiencing it too.

It resets the provisioning on the phone and forces it to re-download the activation settings. Aka kinda like a re-provision.
I'm having the same problem, but only when connected to LTE. Have you tried turning off LTE and seeing if you can get calls? Maybe we have the same issue with our phones/area.
same issue
It's been a while so I assume you resolved the issue.
I have the same issue. Switch to CDMA fixes the issue but then I have no LTE. tried the phone reprovision code. It worked but then stopped working after 1 call.
Same stupid issue
I have this issue and would really appreciate it if someone could share the secret to getting incoming calls.
Issue is with the service provider. In my case Sprint. Turning off Wi-Fi calling and Wi-Fi helps but CDMA only mode for places where there's only 1 to 2 bars for LTE Spark is the solution for now. Call up your provider and let them know about your issue.
I've found that whenever I make a call, there is a long pause before the call is connected and actually starts ringing, up to 30 seconds at times, but the call eventually goes through. This is not the case when calling voicemail however, after the pause it hangs up and says "call lost" before connecting. I have yet to be able to access voicemail. I've tried calling voicemail in a few different ways, it's all the same. Any ideas?
But I do have signal! I get LTE connection and I can receive texts and send texts. When I get a call it goes to voice mail without alerting me on my end (I cant even dial my voice mail either!) and when I try to make a call it says "Dialing" for 20 seconds and then ends. Everything worked fine yesterday. Im about to do a factory reset to see if it works, though it was already on a stock ROM. I'm really tempted to just buy the 6P right now but I don't want to spend all that money. I replaced the speaker recently and reattached the antennas afterwards and I was able to make calls immediately after replacing the speaker (which I did over a week ago)
Having the same problem. The phone says "dialing" for way longer than it should, then my little triangle goes blank and a message pops up saying "Cellular network not available". I close the call, and my network immediately returns. I've already tried removing the sim card, checking for updates and doing a factory reset.
Samsung Galaxy S7 on Tmobile SM-G930T android version 6.0.1
I can make outgoing calls but I cannot receive any calls, they go straight to voicemail
If I restart my phone I can receive calls for a while but then after being locked for a bit the calls next come through. I wake the phone up and even then the call still wont come through until i restart it again.
Anyone know why this happens, it sure hasnt always happened?
No one has any tips on this?
I turned wifi calling on and turned off location and it works every time now.
Not sure why. I hate wifi calling and id like to keep my location on but whatever, i need to receive calls.
I found problem using "Do Not Disturb", custom settings staying in effect even when turned off! Change to "Accept All Calls" and you will be able to receive callers not in your contact list. BUG??

Hello,
I got an S6 through Verizon. It's unlocked. So I'm using it on Total Wireless. Everything was activated last night and was working great. Then, I wake up this morning to check my phone, and as soon as I lit up the screen ALL of my notifications came through that once. I have it set to always allow notifications on the lock screen, wifi sleep is set to always allow connection even in sleep, and data saver is off. I used to have an Asus Zenfone that would do the same thing if it was connected to a router using IPv6. Are there any fixed or known reasons why the S6 does this?
Secondly, out of nowhere today, my phone stopped sending texts and calls. Data was working on everything EXCEPT Facebook Messenger. So before calling Total Wireless, I tried restarting, power cycling, removing and replacing the SIM, resetting network settings, changing it from Global to LTE/CDMA only, and so much more. I eventually caved and called. The reore had me dial *76 to disable call forwarding, although I never even enabled call forwarding. Would that be the main culprit to the issue that I was experiencing? I mean, randomly not sending texts and calls and saying "searching for service" even though it clearly had full signal of LTE and data was still working sounds pretty odd to me. Any ideas?
