Hello,
Can someone help me?
Before the update, when I was using the web browser and mobile data, it used to drain 1% battery for 7 minutes.
After update it went to 1% for 4 minutes.
It's almost twice.
Is there a way to rollback update, or some other fix ?

Great, 10x for the information.
Yesterday it took 90 minutes to charge 45%.
Today it took 47 minutes to charge 45%.
Does anyone know what this means ?

Well I can't even go a day at work. Only mobile data on, brightness at auto. 3 hours of SOT and dead.

The estimation assumes that the screen will stay on at its current brightness setting until the battery runs out. Clearly whoever designed this didn't think it through too clearly.
The estimate on LG phones (G2, G3) doesn't behave this way, at least not on Kit Kat. No idea why Samsung implemented it this way on the S6.
I get my galaxy s6 5 days ago.
it's seem that battery is drain very fast
For example from 100% to 57% battery in 4 hr and 54 min.
In this time i talk 1hr, 2hr of screen usage.
I use WhatsApp and nothing else just average usage.
That does not make sense
Does anyone have an idea or a solution?
Thanks

Youre most likely having a deepsleep issue. Check the deepsleep thread in the general section.

2hrs screen time 1hr calls and rest of time whatsapp is more than enough to get your battery down to 57%
i get a battery life of 1 day but my screen time is 3 hrs and hardly a few minutes of calls
but in continuous usage the battery life shouldnt be more than 8 hours ! Its totally normal!
Looks like you have switched form nokia

Lately I'm having some serious battery bugs.. It takes forever to charge the battery from 0% to 100% (something like 200 minutes) and it drains very fast, even on standby.
Xperia Z3 D6603, Android 5.0.2, unrooted.
Any ideas?
Thank you!!

True. The only way to get faster charging speed is by purchasing the Qualcomm quick charger. It'll take around 2 hours or less to charge saving you over an hour.
I'm having some issues also all of a sudden. Phone is three months old no root or anything. Stamina Mode at 100% says 23 hours, but turn that off and it drops to 7!
Wtf? Is this thing easy to root so I can throw on wld?

So after resetting it and without installing any app you still have 4-5% battery drain per hour on standby ?

No, I have 1% drain every 2 minutes when using the phone on light tasks( Internet, messaging, Facebook and email). Little to no battery drain is visible when not using the phone. But I can'tell get more than two hours of SOT on a full charge

I'll suggest you do something that worked for me, charge your phone to 100% and then restart it. Idk if it will work for you but tell me if you see any difference.

Facebook app is draining battery like that for me at the moment.
Uninstalled Facebook and it's still there... Nothing funky in battery stats apart from high usage on Android System
Update: just done another factory reset, the problem still persists

That's weird, try disabling everything you don't need like Bluetooth, NFC if you haven't already. Turn screen brightness lower, disable fast charging and "nearby device scanning", optimize the apps in settings/battery. Then do a restart and see if it makes any difference.
Hi mate,
I was in the same boat on Monday with a faulty device that overheating and kept freezing.
What I found was I had a weird bug, and 'Mediaserver' was constantly the biggest battery drain.
So saying that, when you go to your battery stats, what is your phone telling you is the main culprit?
Try this: charge your device to 100% restart it and then unplug the charger.

Hello,
The main battery consumer when looking at the battery stats is Android System.
Take a look at this
After a couple days of owning the S7, I checked battery usage of apps
OM Customise = 10%
KNOX = 10%
I've installed Package Disabler Pro, and disabled both the above, charging the phone now and will see if it makes any difference
If the above is true, that should give me 20% back by the end of the day

120hz drains the battery soon. Set the refresh rate to 60hz if you need more battery life. This issue may be solved in any update

I've already done it,the 88% is with 60hz if i had it 120 probably it would be like 95% lol

Mine is 93% at 60Hz and I still get 10+ hours of SOT.
I highly doubt it's anything to worry about..

It just means that out of all the battery that was used up to that point 88% of the used miliamps went to the screen, which makes perfect sense since it's the heaviest battery user out of all the hardware bar the CPU.
You wouldn't want Android System to be using 88%, wouldn't you?

It's a stable update. Changelog: system stability and reduced system lag
Edit: tried updating but it failed for some reason. Maybe Magisk is the reason? Idk. Checked update again and the size changed to 2.2GB
@Slim K -- I just restored from MiUi from xiaomi.eu and just saw the update! factory reset after applying the update!

Ahh, yesterday It wasnt available for me yet. Today i could update It. For sure, they have changed the way the % of battery use is calculated.
Yes, less battery drain and I've noticed that the phone seems to be faster and smoother.
