PX5 - "Your data may be corrupt...". What's wrong? Help me :) - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

Hi! I have MTCD with PX5, Android 8.0, 4gb + 32gb. It stopped working overnight. When i turn it on, the recovery appears with a caption: Can't load Android system. Your data may be corrupt. If you continue to get this message, you may need to perform a factory data reset and erase all user data stored on this device.
Try again
Factory data reset.
Reset Button not working so i plugged keyboard OTG and after select "try again" the same appears, factory data reset not working: "failed to mount bla bla.. - i'll add photo on attachment.
What's wrong? How to do the factory reset? May be i should replace PX5 Core Board or I should make USB JIG from one of the threads on xda?
I don't know, help me, I'll be very grateful! Sorry for my BAD english :/

I've also experienced this quite often after upgrading my devices from Android 6 to Android 8. Sometimes it happens once a day. Nine times out of 10, selecting "Try Again" causes the device to reboot and come up normally.
I assume this might be related to Magisk since I never used it prior to Android 8, but haven't been able to confirm.

[Q] Error Message [Solved]

I keep getting an error that says: "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped."
It pops up every 5-10 seconds after hitting okay.

Anyone care to post a fix?
Before anybody flames you...
It's not normal for that error message to pop up. You'll likely need to wipe data/factory reset. Also, if you use Titanium Backup, don't restore any system data.

Why would I get flamed? Factory reset as we speak btw

Because it's one of those questions that could easily be solved by reading and searching and there's not really an easy fix for that type of issue beyond a factory reset.

[Q] How can I check if hardware is OK?

Hi everybody!
I'm encountering some problems with my device...
I was C'n'T v3 when I realised that the phone was tooooooooooo slow on tasks as clearing apps cache (sometimes couldn't clear at all) or uninstalling an app (up to 6,yes,6 minutes) or installing (either from sd card or google play)
I thought it was roms' bug so I returned to C'n'T v2.1...
Same thing
I relocked bootloader, flashed my regions' ftf and did SUS repair, but problem remains:crying:
Therefore there is no rom bug,so how can I check if harware is OK?

Nexus 5 Doesn't Boot

Hello all,
I am having some trouble with my Google Nexus 5 (rooted with custom recovery). I hadn't updated Android myself, but I suddenly found the phone stuck in the following cycle: the phone rebooted, and then the screen said "Android is upgrading... Starting Apps", and it says "Unfortunately, the process ___ has stopped" (different processes), and it then takes me to a Welcome screen and asks me to select a language. When I select English, the same cycle repeats, starting with the Google logo and then the colored dots (which take a while).
I have tried wiping cache, and then I get a screen that says "Root access possibly lost. Fix? - No -Yes Fix Root - Go Back". I selected Yes, but I am still having the same problem.
I have attached photos of the screens that I get. Any help would be greatly appreciated (bearing in mind that I am not as tech savvy as I probably should be)!
Thank you

You may have to perform a wipe of the data and cache before the phone will fully boot.
I tried wiping the data, and I also tried reflashing the ROM, but I get an error: "FAILED (remote: flash write failure)" (screenshot attached).
What could the issue be? And is there any way to fix it?

Seems like a nand flash issue. You better find a new motherboard or just sell it.

autometically restarted in recovery mode

When I press volume up + power to enter recovery mode, only the recovery start screen blinks for a long time.

Blinking is forever. So I reflashed recovery for several times
And now, Blinking is still forever..!!... (ha.......)
What should I do to fix this??
There is no problem booting into the Android system and fastboot mode
(I'm thinking of Factory reset or format data)

Want to bridge using paper clip
Hardbricked means a hardware component got defective, softbricked means either Android OS or device's bootloader got corrupted.

Ok thanks I understand now. So with device if I press the reset switch within the av port and connect USB cable nothing happens. Software doesn't detect any bootloader.
Hi, if still works, you must to short circuit the point that show you in the picture, the board go to maskrom mode. (the secuence must be, press an hold reset button, keep and hold the shortcircuit and connecto the usb male to male on to computer), i use RKdevtool for install RK322XMiniLoaderAll_V2.32.bin and reboot. Now is in LOADER mode, so you can flash a firmware normally. Any doubts just send it.
My BOARD.
