[Q] Error Message [Solved] - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

I keep getting an error that says: "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped."
It pops up every 5-10 seconds after hitting okay.

Anyone care to post a fix?

Before anybody flames you...
It's not normal for that error message to pop up. You'll likely need to wipe data/factory reset. Also, if you use Titanium Backup, don't restore any system data.

Why would I get flamed? Factory reset as we speak btw

Because it's one of those questions that could easily be solved by reading and searching and there's not really an easy fix for that type of issue beyond a factory reset.

Unread message badge always showing

I deleted a thread a few seconds before an incoming message was in.
I tried deleting cache, dalvik, mms cache, apex launcher cache, and tried rebooting.
Any solutions?

I re-flashed my rom and promise not to delete any thread if iam still having a conversation with the person
Clearly, this is not a good solution.
Maybe fixing permissions can help you... Not quite sure... But you can definitely give it a shot

I solved it by re-flashing the rom.
I did several possible solutions before doing it but they didn't work:
-Reboot, clear cache/dalvik, fix permissions, clear app cache and launcher cache, received a message from the bugged contact then re-deleted the thread, flashed another kernel, etc.)
Good to know... BTW, are you using Slim Bean latest build?

No. I did nothing with Contact Sync. This is recent issue. I've been rooted for around 3 months.
If u r on a custom ROM, dirty flash it once and see.
Stock ROM.

the first thing that I do after getting TWRP is, I make a complete backup to avoid such issue by restoring it.
I'm so sorry to tell you, if I'd have been in your place then I'd have flashed the stock rom again, if i'm not able to diagnose wich app is causing this.

Nexus 5 Doesn't Boot

Hello all,
I am having some trouble with my Google Nexus 5 (rooted with custom recovery). I hadn't updated Android myself, but I suddenly found the phone stuck in the following cycle: the phone rebooted, and then the screen said "Android is upgrading... Starting Apps", and it says "Unfortunately, the process ___ has stopped" (different processes), and it then takes me to a Welcome screen and asks me to select a language. When I select English, the same cycle repeats, starting with the Google logo and then the colored dots (which take a while).
I have tried wiping cache, and then I get a screen that says "Root access possibly lost. Fix? - No -Yes Fix Root - Go Back". I selected Yes, but I am still having the same problem.
I have attached photos of the screens that I get. Any help would be greatly appreciated (bearing in mind that I am not as tech savvy as I probably should be)!
Thank you

You may have to perform a wipe of the data and cache before the phone will fully boot.
I tried wiping the data, and I also tried reflashing the ROM, but I get an error: "FAILED (remote: flash write failure)" (screenshot attached).
What could the issue be? And is there any way to fix it?

Seems like a nand flash issue. You better find a new motherboard or just sell it.

PX5 - "Your data may be corrupt...". What's wrong? Help me :)

Hi! I have MTCD with PX5, Android 8.0, 4gb + 32gb. It stopped working overnight. When i turn it on, the recovery appears with a caption: Can't load Android system. Your data may be corrupt. If you continue to get this message, you may need to perform a factory data reset and erase all user data stored on this device.
Try again
Factory data reset.
Reset Button not working so i plugged keyboard OTG and after select "try again" the same appears, factory data reset not working: "failed to mount bla bla.. - i'll add photo on attachment.
What's wrong? How to do the factory reset? May be i should replace PX5 Core Board or I should make USB JIG from one of the threads on xda?
I don't know, help me, I'll be very grateful! Sorry for my BAD english :/

I've also experienced this quite often after upgrading my devices from Android 6 to Android 8. Sometimes it happens once a day. Nine times out of 10, selecting "Try Again" causes the device to reboot and come up normally.
I assume this might be related to Magisk since I never used it prior to Android 8, but haven't been able to confirm.

Error shows up while trying to share anything with link sharing. Link sharing app says couldn't upload file. I can share Google photos links no problem.

If no apks are disabled it's most likely a settings issue unless it's caused be a 3rd party app.
Try it in safe mode to rule this out.
I've seen this behavior before but can't recall the cause... it wasn't that hard to find in my case.
Start looking... lol, dependencies and their consequences
If you get really desperate you could do a global reset of settings. At that point though a factory reset isn't much harder though. However after a factory reset it's likely to reoccur if you don't find the root cause.
Google search for it; include results for older models/OS systems.
The answer is probably staring at you... play with it.
