Heavy use endurance - OnePlus 8T Real Life Review

Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the OnePlus 8T's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

I am neither heavy user nor I am a light user, rather I am a typical moderate user.
Who uses this device for social apps in the morning.
Bit of Android Auto / Bluetooth musis streaming over 4G while out in car for commuting.
Moderate use of voice calls & lots of Telegram or Whatsapp message in work along with bit of emails / word / Excel / pdf viewing. Constant 5Ghz WiFi usage along with Dual SIM running VoWiFi / VoLTE
Same music streaming over 4G while returning & bit of PubG (couple of match) or CoD in evening & before bed time.
Lot of Chrome usage also for reading & browsing, like here.
Random Camera usage & editing apps like PS Express & so on.
Here are my battery stats from AccuBattery !!

I would have preferred lower screen off average, but I guess may be for music streaming it's at such 1.2% per hour.
I shall close all background apps & check at one night as how much is idle drain while the device goes into deep sleep state !!
Thanks.
P.S. For comparison, my previous daily driver, Z2 Plus with Android 11 Custom ROM used to deliver around 3h25-35mins of SoT & 2 year old OnePlus 6T within family is delivering similar (may be an hour less SoT) backups..

Hi!
i am a little irritated that there are no posts yet to this app, it seems quite useful to me...
In order to make it more "compatible" to the average drivers usage profile, it would be very handy to have it run in background fully, so video and data is recorded while other apps like e.g Navigation can run in the foreground.
Do you believe that is possible at all? Have it access GPS sensor data while another app is using GPS too? Have it record video in background?
I reckon that would make it an invaluable app.
I have very often had situations where i wanted to prove that i did not exceed a certain speed and could not prove it but needed to rely on the video recordings of the police who pulled me over. To get out of these awkward situations i always need to call my lawyer and make him find some stupid mistakes the police did in order to invalidate their measurements. This is a very tiresome process and could be much easier with recognized proofing. Like with an App that records video and data, displays the data in the video as overlay when played back and also has the statistical data merged into the video in order to have an avi file at the end which contains everything and is playable on all sorts of players.
I am not sure what processes you would have to go through to make this app recognized so it would serve as a valid evidence when one would have to take it to court. I am sure it would need some sort of governmental certification, but even without that, it is a good thing to have.
Thanks for your work!
regards,
Sneaky

You can use Said It to record something after it happens.
For example?
prove harassment, bullying or bribery
save important pieces of information (phone numbers / passwords / instructions)
record cute / funny moments
prove that someone said (or didn't said) something
It's like a dashcam but it records only sound and runs on your phone.
How does it work? Continuous recording? Battery drain?
Quick explanation of how does it work:
- it uses some memory as a cyclic recording buffer
- when it records it just points sound processor to write to this memory and goes to sleep
- when sound processor is done, it wakes, points to a next part of memory and goes to sleep again
- it doesn't process sound in any way - no resampling, no compression, it just keeps the recording going
- once you want to save recording, the memory is saved to .wav file on sdcard.
Battery consumption: on N4 it managed 3 days of recording on a single charge. It may vary from device to device.
One more appendix - memory usage:
It uses 1/16 of total device memory but not less than 5 minutes. There is no compression so it's usually from 6 to 24 minutes.
If someone comes up with 4GB phone, it will probably store last 48 minutes.
On 4.0+ devices there is a way for app to use all of free memory and release it when system is under pressure. This however would interfere with background apps (which usually live in unused memory) and it might cause loss of recording when a memory-intensive app starts. User-controlled memory usage would probably be best but clear and intuitive design is a problem here.

The text above is from the announcing of the new Fibit Versa 2. What do I have to add to this:
1. The screen is simply amazing since it's not only Amoled but also covers the entire display space.
2. Most of the Clock Faces from the Versa are compatible with the Versa 2
3. the Versa 2 acts faster and smoother that his predecessor
4. WiFi is now included, unfortunately GPS not.
5, Battery lasts even longer than on the Versa, certainly when you take care of your battery, f.i. use a Clock Face that is very battery friendly contrary to the standard Fitbit Clock Faces.
6, etc, etc, etc, etc

Very usefull app for pubg thanks?
i play pubg mobile on daily basis, usually connecting VIA wireless 5G Network, my router is directly in the same room without any repeaters, the internet is Fiber with speed of 300, usually, the ping in-Game is between 60-80 which is good but sometimes I get killed behind cover due to ping difference. so I purchased the USB-C tethering device from belikn (Belkin F2CU040btBLK USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter), and I connected it directly to the main router, the internet speed on youtube and speed test is excellent and the speed test shows a ping of 1 MS.
when I tried the gameplay, everything was fine until I got loaded to the island and the ping shows 20ms for 1 second then jumps to 460 after that without any change.
any ideas?
