This report compares battery lifetime between Android devices as well as top battery devices. I hope it's helpful for XDA members who want to purchase a new Android device or to look for a battery friendly devices.
In this report, we show top 15 battery friendly devices and top 15 battery killer devices based on average battery lifetime, and distribution of battery lifetime. Data is reported by users using Battery Stats Plus over 474 Android-based models and 5585 battery statistic reports during last 6 weeks. A device may report more than once, but it should wait for at least one day for the next report. In this report, we aggregated only models which had at least 5 reports per device. The average battery lifetime is 20.4 hours.

Studio Forum Thread: http://is.gd/pocketfountain
It's finally here!
Hot out of the baking oven, [in]Sanity Interactive presents to you, Pocket Fountain, the fountain that will never run dry.
This program is more of a screensaver, rather than a game. We are planning to add other things into the project over time, however for now, we wanted to push it out the door, and show off what we've been developing. We also found that some people relax or sleep better with the calm sound of water flowing, so we decided to make this app to benefit them and also bring a bit of Zen into your life. Put your phone into it's cradle, launch the app and relax/sleep better.
How much does it cost?
It's free, and [in]Sanity Interactive would appreciate a donation if you find it useful. We will not put ads in this program - we do not want to ruin the beautiful graphics with ads that demand you click them in return for free smilies. You can make a donation to the team at the studio's forum thread (see below). This is completely optional, we're not begging.
Devices Supported
Any modern day Android devices. You will need to have at least a ARMv6 Processor. We have tested numerous devices with various ARM CPUs, but if you want to confirm that your device is compatible, give us a bell and we'll add it to this list. Please note that cheap phones that use CPU-rendered graphics are likely not to be supported - give it a shot but don't expect it to run as expected. Please see the studio forum thread for more information, along with some devices that we've tested.
Notes
The program will try to keep your screen on while the fountain is running. Plug the device into a charger, as having the screen on running the app may cause battery drain since it gives the GPU an exercise. For best performance, use the app while the device is docked and charging.
Downloads
Available through Google Play. See this page in the Play Store. APK available upon request.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know - we'd be eager to work on your idea and make the program better!
Okay guys, shameless bump, but updated the post to reflect the actual release of the program!

You can use Said It to record something after it happens.
For example?
prove harassment, bullying or bribery
save important pieces of information (phone numbers / passwords / instructions)
record cute / funny moments
prove that someone said (or didn't said) something
It's like a dashcam but it records only sound and runs on your phone.
How does it work? Continuous recording? Battery drain?
Quick explanation of how does it work:
- it uses some memory as a cyclic recording buffer
- when it records it just points sound processor to write to this memory and goes to sleep
- when sound processor is done, it wakes, points to a next part of memory and goes to sleep again
- it doesn't process sound in any way - no resampling, no compression, it just keeps the recording going
- once you want to save recording, the memory is saved to .wav file on sdcard.
Battery consumption: on N4 it managed 3 days of recording on a single charge. It may vary from device to device.
One more appendix - memory usage:
It uses 1/16 of total device memory but not less than 5 minutes. There is no compression so it's usually from 6 to 24 minutes.
If someone comes up with 4GB phone, it will probably store last 48 minutes.
On 4.0+ devices there is a way for app to use all of free memory and release it when system is under pressure. This however would interfere with background apps (which usually live in unused memory) and it might cause loss of recording when a memory-intensive app starts. User-controlled memory usage would probably be best but clear and intuitive design is a problem here.

[APP][4.0.5+] Fresh new - just released - IQ Test - What is your wisdom?

An intelligence quotient (IQ) is a total score derived from several standardized tests designed to assess human intelligence. Results are adjusted according to the age group.
There are many tests of intelligence.
The application is based on the Raven test.
The Raven test includes sixty questions. The application has three options - a full test consisting of 60 questions, a moderate test with 30 questions and a quick test, which is shortened to 15 questions.
The test time is limited to 40 minutes for the full test, 20 minutes for the intermediate test and 10 minutes for the short test.
The results of the test - the IQ distribution usually produces a bell graph similar to a normal distribution.
The average IQ is 100.
The highest score is 175 and the lowest is 25.
Only the results of the full test are reliable. Short-term tests were created for people who do not want to spend 40 minutes and yet to be tested. At these points, it is important to take into account that the grade received is inaccurate and unreliable.
Raven’s Progressive Matrices and Mill Hill Vocabulary Scales were developed for use in fundamental research into the genetic and environmental determinants of ‘‘intelligence.’’
The Raven Progressive Matrices (RPM) tests (of which there are several versions) are made up of a series of diagrams or designs with a part missing.
Those taking the tests are expected to select the correct part to complete the designs from a number of options printed beneath.
Most of the tests in this app was conducted with the Standard Progressive Matrices Test.
It is important to note that the SPM was, from the start, known to have both certain strengths and limitations.
Its strengths were that it could be used with respondents of all ages from early childhood to old age and was of such a length that it could reasonably be administered in homes, schools, and workplaces.
Scores are converted into age adjusted IQ according to Raven's Matrices.
I'm 35 took the full test in less than 20 minutes while multitasking. Scored 175. I'm not that smart. I think this has a ceiling of 2 SD over the norm. My IQ is likely in the 130s.
Do you have statistics on the results? They should be renormed.

i am going to completely revamp this app soon
Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the OnePlus 8T's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
I am neither heavy user nor I am a light user, rather I am a typical moderate user.
Who uses this device for social apps in the morning.
Bit of Android Auto / Bluetooth musis streaming over 4G while out in car for commuting.
Moderate use of voice calls & lots of Telegram or Whatsapp message in work along with bit of emails / word / Excel / pdf viewing. Constant 5Ghz WiFi usage along with Dual SIM running VoWiFi / VoLTE
Same music streaming over 4G while returning & bit of PubG (couple of match) or CoD in evening & before bed time.
Lot of Chrome usage also for reading & browsing, like here.
Random Camera usage & editing apps like PS Express & so on.
Here are my battery stats from AccuBattery !!

I would have preferred lower screen off average, but I guess may be for music streaming it's at such 1.2% per hour.
I shall close all background apps & check at one night as how much is idle drain while the device goes into deep sleep state !!
Thanks.
P.S. For comparison, my previous daily driver, Z2 Plus with Android 11 Custom ROM used to deliver around 3h25-35mins of SoT & 2 year old OnePlus 6T within family is delivering similar (may be an hour less SoT) backups..
